Good cop! Definitely not a “poor man’s YZY” because adidas never sourced Wolverine World Wide leather/suede as far as I’m aware.
I imagine most, if not all, Saucony Originals Premium shoes are using PWRUN at a minimum for midsoles. That stuff is good. I place it on the high end of tech that’s been around a while.
I would give NB and Saucony a good deal of the credit for muted colorways. Both were forced to be clever because they were never as big as adidas, ASICS, or Nike.

They all fit different. Me personally i got ASICS and saucony over NB for comfort. Far as lifestyle sneakers go.
