    JM also recorded Saint-Saens No.2.
    Great purifying interpretation.

Your emphasis on the musical goal is spot on. Technique for technique's sake is worth nothing. But to use it to serve the music is sublime. Thank you for your very helpful presentation!

Merci beaucoup ! I don't understand all you are saying because my english is bad but the exercices are very interesting...And I like your voice and your manner to speak...
Thank you very much for the time you take to explain the progression.
And it's free ! It's very precious in our world in which we hace to pay all the time !

Thanks for posting these Masterclass videos. My fiancee and I's first date was actually watching you perform this piece with the Phoenix Symphony! I'm a guitar teacher and even though I don't play the cello, these videos have really inspired my own teaching and playing.

If I practice this my neighbours will break the quarantine to come strangle me. :-p Will you do a mini-at-home-concert at some point? Or just a video of you playing a small piece? I think we could all do with something jolly.

Hi Mr.Moser, could you talk about phrasing big, and communicating music & musical character clearly. I often have ideas but they are not always as forthcoming and clear as I imagine them to be? Thanks for reading!!

Hi Johannes, we met at the Philadelphia Orchestra a few years ago. Though I’m a trained classical clarinetist, I took up the cello about 6 years ago. Thanks for doing this, because we all have a lot of time to practice. I heard a RUclips video of you playing the Bach G major allemande. Could you please do a session on that. Thanks.

Yes, I think I will do a class on Bach as we progress. Its a HUGE topic, so I have to think what's best to focus on. But thank you for the suggestion!

I would *love* your thoughts on practice techniques for the first movement of the Haydn C major concerto. I’m an adult beginner (long-time musician) and I adore practicing, but some of the more technical passages are really challenging me. Thank you for these classes!

Hello! I'm currently learning the third movement of Saint Saens and would love to hear suggestions for building the tempo, especially during the sections that switch back and forth from thumb position. Looking forward to isolation practice!

Hey would be very happy if you could prepare a masterclass on Reger suite d minor first movement. I managed the first page. Struggeling with the finger rings on the second page (around bar 16 etc). I am an adult beginner playing the cello for about 10 years now. Me and my very old teacher are separated and he is technical old fashioned. Thank you. Best wishes from Germany
