Bob Seeley is great . . . a great pianist and a great man. I've had the pleasure of chatting with him a few times and found him to be a warm, down-to-earth person. I hope he lives to be 110.
Somehow I think it would take a lifetime to pick up this "tune" from paper. This is one of those pieces that you're unlikely to play the same way twice... so you just have someone like Bob Seeley or Arthur Migliazza SHOW YOU HOW to play it (after you've discovered you've got the talent, and put in the years of practise it takes to just play Boogie Woogie).
@@rae0521 I know these comments are years old, but I pursued this path with Arthur a few months ago and recorded the session in an interview here, in case you are interested in learning more about this tune. ruclips.net/video/kQoP5FPBXLQ/видео.html

I've spoken with Bob many times over a 30 year period in the Detroit metro area. A real thrill to hear his stories & watch him play.
This is by far the best version of St. Louis Blues I have ever heard.
Fantastic!!!! St.Louis blues is one of my favourite pieces. and Bob Seeley is excellent piano player.
I cannot understand how this only has three thousand views...
This man is amazing and was a great inspiration to me as a piano player!!!

Just found this. Fantastic.
I love them all everyone I've watched, simply amazing, I wish I could play boogie, if I'm born again I will begin young.
