This was extremely informative! Thanks for including this level of detail. It especially helped to get specific recommendations for printing and packaging.
This was so informative and helpful! I'm looking at selling my work at a local convention next year and I'm so overwhelmed by how much I should or should not bring, how much expenditure will be going into making some of these printed products (and how out of pocket I'll be if they don't sell!) and how to go about actually setting up my table to look pretty. Your advice has been super helpful.
Awe i am so so glad it was helpful to you!! It is definitely tough to decide how much to bring. I brought about 15 of each print to my first con, but if you're nervous about it, try less. You will learn so much at your first con and it's impossible to make all the right choices. I would suggest settling on a middle ground for quantity. Let me know if you have more questions! You can do it!!!
I've had the chance to finally win a table at a local convention in Quebec in few months and ended up on your video to get references! (It's my first artist alley ever QAQ) I just realize that I bought a couple of your buttons few years ago so I think it's funny that I ended up on your video haha!!
OMG that is so exciting!! Congratulations! I wish you all the luck with your first convention! That's really cool you found me after picking up some buttons at my table a while back! Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help ❤️
Twine for tying up banners or really bad customers.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and the scissors hahahahaha. Sounds like you've had some rough experiences so far.... Very informative with everything it takes for an expo, and love the Meowzie parts!
I hear you about starting small- but it’s too late I’m already signed up for a big one. Partly because I’m selling hand painted purses which are more expensive, and also because I work two jobs and so am only doing one or two booths a year- this is not a small business this is just for fun.
I'm no artist but I was just glad to see you again! But your 2nd self is hilarious, thanks for adding that in, makes it more fun despite all the serious talk!
The one thing I find that no one ever say is where they get there stuff done. I would love to know where to make pillow cases or pencil cases but no one likes to say and it's rather frustrating lol. Is this information you would share? If not I get it and won't hold it against you ❤️
Hi! Great video!! I think it was just right in length, info was spot on. I learned a lot! Thank you!!Very well done and I wish you great success! God bless!
Question: I live in Canada as well and plan on attending anime north and take part at an artist alley. I suck at digital so all my work is traditional using markers and pens. If I were to make prints of my traditiona art at Reyacom woud the print come out alright? Due to it being traditional art? Also would pricing 9x12 prints at 10$ CAD be a good price?
I have a friend that does all traditional and they look great! You will need to take good photos or scans and get test prints to make sure you are happy with the colour. The standard print size at conventions is 11x17 or 12x18. I choose to do 11x14 because it's a common frame size and people always appreciate that. I would try to do a more common size to everyone else.
Hidden Rainbows Art at 10:18 you play a clip of drinking water. Just letting you know, those kinds of sounds can be really hard for people. Maybe it's an edditing style choice, but... yeah. You had some helpful info up until that point, so props. Have a good day!
Hi! Did you not like my video? If you have any constructive criticism it would be helpful. It was my first tutorial so I know I have more learning to do :)

Cool tips, very useful :). I wished they were more conventions near my place :)
I'm so happy you found them useful!! I wish there were more near me too! I travel 16 h to some of them!! 😭
Hidden Rainbows Art that's very far 😅. The only con in my city is comicon and this one seems to be too large for me for the start 😅
Those prints look amazing! Where do you get them done?
Nvm just got to the rayacom part, 🙏
I'm no artist but I was just glad to see you again! But your 2nd self is hilarious, thanks for adding that in, makes it more fun despite all the serious talk!

Riko Rocket price at what other artists are, you don’t want to cheapen the industry

Hiii thank you so much! I use 100 pound with a satin finish, not sure what brand because I get them printed through a local printer. Hope that helps!
Hey it's me from Baylee's streams! Great video with really useful advice!
Hi!! Thanks for checking out my vids!! Super appreciate it!
@@HiddenRainbowsart It was recommended to me, so I watched it! Then I looked at the username and I was like I know her!!
Awe that's cool it was recommended! Glad you found me here 😊✨
Where do you get the pencil pouch’s made
This is super helpful 😁
I'm so happy it helped you! ❤️
Where do you get the pencil pouches printed? I heard Rayacom for the prints but nothing for those. Thanks!
Wtf, I follow you in Instagram since forever and I didn’t knew that you have a channel D:
Hi! Yes it's a fairly new channel but I'm having so much fun with it! Thanks so much for checking out my videos ❤️
What do you think I could use to protect Acrylic Paintings? I'm not selling prints lol
Sorry I’m not sure! I don’t sell acrylic paintings :)
Very informative!
Oh good!! I'm so glad to hear it!! I'm going to do more expo prep videos I think :)
Do you need a permit to sell at the conventions??
Gosh 3 years later I’m sure you got your answer, but just in case: you do not need a permit, the expos take care of that part :)
Good info... but I had to quickly exit because of the drinking noises...
Drinking noises? I'm not sure what you mean?
