Great review! I own the blow dryer and absolutely love it. There's something very comforting about not smelling burnt hair when I'm done drying it lol. I was thinking about getting this one next and I think this just sealed the deal.

I think that if you’re putting it on the dock while sectioning your hair instead of just placing it on the table it should give you more time. I saw another review and the girl did that and got 60 minutes with about 25 battery still left. I’m thinking about ordering too. 🤔
Maria Gonzalez that’s a great idea. I think it just take getting used to placing it on the dock, since we all just place our iron on the counter while fixing our hair. I guess we could also leave it plugged in too. I have the GHD flatiron and it only has one heat setting (365) and it flat irons my hair perfectly and usually with one pass. With all these expensive hair tools, I should never have to go to the salon 😂😂😂
Tracie Warren I’ve had the Dyson supersonic for a year and a half and have seen how much my hair has grown due to minimizing breakage and heat damage. I see many reviews comparing the córrale with others and people staying other flat iron do the same for way less. What you’re getting here is healthier hair in the long run. I do my hair every time I wash it so that’s a lot of heat damage in the long run. I know many straighteners will give you the same results but with much more damage.I have the CROC and the few times I use it I notice my hair gets dry and damaged. I’m sure I can get the same results but I want healthy hair in the long run. I guess when I was younger I just cared about high heat and the best straightener to make my hair bone straight. Now I focus more on the he’s.th of my hair. I hope that makes sense lol

Hi, I would just like to say that I am a “silver fox” , I’m not suppose to use very hot hair tools because it toasts your hair making it yellow, so I think this would be perfect for ladies like me who want to rock a hair style without damaging our white hair.
You can use it cordless and charge it at the same time, meaning, instead of putting it in the counter in between passes, you just put it in the dock instead.

I have long thick curly Latina hair. The Dyson Corrale is the worst straightener I’ve ever used. I got it for Christmas and have only used it 4 times. The battery does not last more than 20 mins and when the battery dies, it will not run when plugged in. It takes me approximately one hour and 30 mins to straighten my hair with the Dyson Corrale straightener. When I use my 8 year old $65 cord straightener, it takes me 45 mins to straighten without the constant stoping for recharging.
It's not for everyone, you can also use it while its plugged it (but I guess that defeats the purpose lol) I did notice less breakage with the Corrale vs my old regular straighteners.

Looks nice but any heat appliance can and will damage your hair if you do not know what you are doing, nothing is damage proof, I use one for $250 that works well but it's technique/not over using heat that keeps hair from heat damage

Girl, it depends on the weather if it’s “winter” it’ll last up to 7 days, I live in Florida so if we’re talking the rest of the year 2-3 days, it wayyy to humid here.
It did not last 30 minutes when I tried it. I emailed Dyson and they told me that at the mid or high heat it won't last the full 30 minutes. For $500, that thing better last an hour.

What I meant is we have dominate genes and recessive genes. Blue eyes blind hair and straight hair are from the recessive genes- the weakest form if the original man aka type O blood. When a person with brown eyes ages their color of their eyes turn blue/gray meaning it is degenerated . So one that is born with blue eyes or blind hair is expressing the degenerate form of the dominant gene. The fact that you can get brown, yellow, red , blue and green from black but never or rarely get brown from white skin meaning the brown is the original or first order dominant genes. Which is why when you mix black with white you almost always have the black characteristics in the baby and never the other way around study genetics and this will make sense to you. So people who lack color have “fur” a degenerate form of hair. I hope this makes sense. And sorry for the confusion- this is not meant to be racist just stating the facts we have different hair for a reason. So to have you make this video for woman if color is different than if I were to try to follow the protocol for people with fur not hair. Curly and kinky hair follows the fibonacci/or pi which is the golden ratio if life. Everything is energy and energy spirals up or down like the Fibonacci sequences of life. Look at nature how the plants spiral in a flower petal, and ever wonder why they call someone who does hair a cosmetologist? Cosmo? Yes because hair is antennas to the cosmos- our ancestors knew this and thats why they rarely cut their hair and designed it it beautiful styles which we did not understand but now we do- they were connecting to the cosmos. I just did my hair with it completely charged and could not finish my hair because it ran out of battery; I even put it on the charging dock every time I stopped to get another section. I now have to wait for it to charge again before I can use it. It doesn’t matter if you plug it in or not, if the battery is low it will keep loosing power; which is crazy considering it’s $500. That and the fact that it’s sooooo heavy is the reason I’m going to return it.
Need to register your Corole on Dyson.com, there is a manual available. The battery will last for over an hour if you plug in the stand snd place the Chorale on the stand while you get the next section of hair ready.
I think this review would have been more helpful if you did half your head with the dyson and the other half with your normal straightener. Not sure if you can recommend a 500 dollar straightener if your 100 dollar straightener also gets the job done. Thank you for the review non the less. Just hate seeing people spending money they don’t have on overpriced over inflated products.
Thanks for the suggestion however I wasn't doing a comparison video I was doing a first impression video. My normal flat iron would have given me the same results however I usually have to do 3-4 pass throughs to get my hair that straight , also the main point of buying the Dyson is for the hair protection, their hair tools are pricey because your receiving great results with less heat damage to your natural hair that's ultimately what your paying for, same results less heat.
Solana2013 if people can’t afford it they shouldn’t buy it! But just because someone can’t afford it it doesn’t mean that is not worth it. This iron blow the other ones out of the water. First able it doesn’t damage your hair which to me and I’m sure that most people want that and the technology is awesome. You pay for quality.
Solana2013 I agree with you. I’m a professional hair stylist and I think that it is over priced. I have several flat irons that will straighten hair bone straight and leave a shine with one pass for half of the price. A comparison video would have shown this.

I don't get what this straightener does to justify the insane price. And this is coming from someone that has both the Dyson airwrap and hair dryer - I can the value of those.
I agree, the price is insane, essentially their price is based on the product giving you the same results as a traditional flat iron with 50% less heat damage and breakage. I dont have the airwrap but I have the blow dryer and I love it, the flat iron I can live without.

Over an hour with a regular flat iron, If you have straight or wavy hair I don't see it taking longer than 10-15 minutes.
