Awww what a good mommy. And dad is just nearby watching his baby. They are such beautiful birds of prey. Some people might mistake the mothman for this eagle.
What a truly beautiful eagle. The size comparison of her talons to her chick is very impressive. Like many others have stated, it is a shame they aren't out in the wild living freely, but it's imperative for them to be in captivity, there's so many species, Harpy Eagles especially that are endangered and the efforts of zoos, sanctuary's, licensed breeding etc. To prevent extinction from occurring. We can't lose these amazing animals.
Awh, so beautiful. The baby is just adorable & mom is gorgeous. I would like to start watching more of the Harpy as I watch *ALOT* of the Bald Eagle nests, Thank you for sharing ❤️ 🦅🐥🦅❤️
Due to deforestation, and dumb lame humans shooting these beautiful magnificent Birds of Prey, being captive in conservation areas of zoos and other wildlife refuges is tHa only way to ensure their survival for your grandchildren to be able to see!
Increible que hasta las en las entranas de los monstruos mas horribles pued existir el instinto maternal.Por eso la madre es todo.Es unica.El amor de una madre no se compara con nada.
no it is not with out conversation efforts and making public aware of this some animals would be extinct already. the sphinx macaw only survived cause of zoos there not prisons anymore , you have a outdated view these animals get the best care and food and it’s the public that pays for it buy visiting
How does it work with the parents building a nest in a zoo ? It’s not like they can fly off to get the material … is it built by the staff there ? And feeding - the parents aren’t hunting for food. While I agree zoo’s across the world do some very good work for indangered species I can’t help thinking with birds this size it’s all abit too artificial
Look at those talons!!! Geez her prey better be shaking in their boots! Wow **EDIT** I must have overlooked the zoo part! I wonder if she's fed or she actually gets to hunt?? I have mixed feelings about her being in captivity. I UNDERSTAND why but she won't have the same life and experiences all the other birds eagles etc etc do 😐
This eagle is part of a captive breeding program and may have been born in captivity herself. So no she is likely staying at the zoo helping to parent chicks that can be returned to the wild. The tragedy is that if we don't preserve their habitat they could go extinct in the wild. Habitat destruction like the burning Amazon Rain Forest is the biggest threat to this eagle and other magnificent birds of prey and wildlife unique to rain forests.
It is true that this eagle would only be at home in the wilderness of a rain forest. However she was probably born in captivity herself and is now part of a captive breeding program to return harpy eagles to the wild.
I feel so sorry for eagles in captivity. That mom is so intimidated and upset by all the noise and probably people around…verses in nature..a quiet private nest high up in the tree top! She should be calm and happy, and not have her feathers all ruffled in anger. This is just totally sad to me. 🥲

Adorable little fuzzy feather ball. Mother is so gentle and loving. 💜
Very cool how mom balls up her foot before stepping around in the nest.
Stunningly beautiful ! Cutest little baby 😍

That little precious sweet chick is everything!!😍🥰 how can I help them from being extinct??
So adorable and chubby eaglet.
Rare & precious. Great to see this birth happen!!
A bird as lethal as the harpey eagle,, and the smoothness and lovely like treat its Cub.. 🤗❤️
eaglet or chick , birds don’t have cubs lol 😂
😍this baby is making me melting!
This bird needs to be seen firsthand to fully appreciate it's sheer size.
Is so cute when the chick watches mummy shouting and make her mum sound
These eagles are beautiful
When bald eagle and barn owl get married, harpy eagle is born.
Its interesting how baby eagles, hawks, and owls always look better than the chicks of small birds
So adorable! 😍
Welcome,Eaglet! Now must be fully grown.
Harpy Eagle is The largest raptor in the Americas but she don't lives naturally in the USA. She is a tropical SOUTH American eagle.
The mom is so beautiful and the baby is just adorable!!!

Yes and very rare 1 baby chick every 2 years 😔
Awh, so beautiful. The baby is just adorable & mom is gorgeous. I would like to start watching more of the Harpy as I watch *ALOT* of the Bald Eagle nests, Thank you for sharing
❤️ 🦅🐥🦅❤️
It's very cutie the baby harpy eagle!😍😄😙
they are magnificent eagles......raptors there my fav bird...besides the bald eagle..
The bald eagle is a raptor...
@@WildPrimal23 lol
This is the nacional Bird of Panamá. Wonderful.
there is no more of this animal in Panama, only in my country
Why are they considered rare? As big and as powerful with no known predators you would think these birds would thrive.
Probably deforestation is the issue.
Yes unfortunately 😔
This Majestic Eagle dwarfs the bald Eagle 🤣 what a beauty.
Thats a big momma.
This is why there in danger, they need to be wild and free. And if it was hurt at least bring her to a rehabilitation center in its home country.

The Harpy eagle is solid, big core strength
Having lived in the city for so long, I really want to see the majesty of the eagle with my own eyes. Now I can only watch it in videos😭
good job guys theres only few harpy eagles around the world
Omg those feet look look dangerous even for her own kid.
Oh they are dangerous but if you watch the mother bird tucks in her talons so she doesn't hurt her baby chick .🥰🥰😍😍
Heart warming🥺
MANY THANKS.
Tunnocks Snowball

I love you, I love this bird more than all animals
God is an awesome Creator. Majestic and Precious are He and His Creation
There is no gender when it comes to Source. The patriarcy system created Source as man. The All is so much more than a gender.

I didn't know harpy eagles have swords
How can you so heartlessly keep these eagles in a zoo!!!!!???
They are endangered species, they need to be protected.
I agree they need protection but also sad to them in captivity 😔

there not prisons anymore , you have a outdated view

Pure love and joy
Cute cute😍😱
What a tiny little dude.
Beautiful baby 😘😘😘
I kept reading it as Happy eagle until I saw another one in recommendations. 😑

Change the title to “Rare hatchling sighting at Zoo” this isn’t a hatching egg. 🤦♂️
At last mother is mother😍
💕💕💕💕💕
Happy eagles 🦅 are cool
Excellent parents
Wooow soooooo gargeous soooooo attractive. ..Nature 's pride
Oh my God it's so tiny
Omg I know rite just precious 😍
Baby Harpy eagle cute
The baby harpy eagle is adorable, but how incredibly sad to be born in captivity like that. Feel so sorry for both mom and baby.
scriabina but atleast theyre safe
scriabina I'm glad that they're alive!
scriabina dumbass
not really cause some asshole human would of probably shoot the mum and the baby would of died , better to be in captivity until humans are not dicks
The mom was probably rescued and was unable to survive if returned to the wild......so it's a good thing.
That is a cutie
niesamowite🐣🌅🌞💖
Preciosa. Agila. Real.
I want one!!!
Q pena q esos animales esten en cautiverio.
Yes its sad 😥 but also its wonderful because they save this beautiful raptor so it doesn't go away forever!!
❤
Most beautifull bird together with the stellers sea eagle
Look at those talons!!! Geez her prey better be shaking in their boots! Wow

😔
Beautiful footage, but these magnificent Raptors should be FREE in the wild, not in a goddamn Florida zoo!!! 😡
Duterte wil save them.
Wooiw
T
The baby is so cute, but I also feel so sorry for them that they'd be so much beautiful and alive in their wild forests...
kaya until deforestation kills them both.
Sure, let them into the wild - and hasten the extinction of their species.
What a boring life :(
Drink poison
