I have non-photosensitive epilepsy. This, along with the medication I take for it causes me to overheat severely and depending on how hot I get, I can be put at a seizure risk. That said, I am a furry and cannot wear a foam fursuit. I am using this tutorial for the facial structure of a fursuit head I'm making from paper mache and wood filler. Thank you for this. It helped more than I know how to explain.

Hi, thanks for that, really nice. So does the corn starch act like a glue? Never knew that!
Yes, you can use Elmers mixed with water alternatively, but I really like the cornstarch recipe and it gives the final product a nice clean sheen.

Just a btw comment, if you add water to the corn starch instead of cornstarch to the water, it won’t clump up.

Yes, it can be a little harder to reach into the spot you want to staple but a regular staple can work. Also hot-glue or masking tape can work.

I don't know what brought me here but you seem like a nice lady
The recipe was vague. When I added the 1/2 cup water with the vague 3 heaping spoonfuls cornstarch solution to the 4 cups of water it never got thickish. Was I supposed to add more cornstarch? I did the first layer of my mask at noon & it's still soggy at 6PM. I was disappointed. When the mask was dried I used diluted Elmer's glue.
