Crutchfield is awesome. I bought a new Tacoma that didn't have the JBL audio. I was able to order upgraded speakers from them, and they included the correct speaker mounts and wire harness to make it super easy to install. Sounds much better than stock now. Definitely give them a look.

Going around the country to see home theater 🎭! That’s great but can become very expensive unless that’s your business, so you can deduct all your expenses!
I only experienced Dolby Atmos at movie theaters but not at home. I would love to have a Dolby Atmos setup but because I live in an old rental house with my family and I live in the basement with beams and small little holes in the ceiling (which connects to hardwood floors, so if my family accidentally spills a glass of wine, it can get sticky down in my rented basement), I don't think up-firing speakers are going to work. I would like to go wall-mounted, but because I live temporarily for now, I'm thinking I'm going to want a tripod that can angle the height speakers downward. There's no telling what adhesive can do if it damages the wall even if there's no paint at all. So for now, I'm left with just a basic 5.1 speaker setup. I would like to have another subwoofer for a 5.2 setup, but my Klipsch RP-1000SW is so far too heavy for me (and even for my family) to carry when it comes to moving from house to another house, especially if my family (my mom and dad are travel nurses) is moving to another location just to experience another new city.
(And by the way, I do not have a vehicle so I've had to skip the sponsorship. No hard feelings.)

Hi Michael, I love your videos, you have one of the best channels out there! I have a question for you. My sound system consists of 6 SVS Ultra Bookshelf speakers (2 for the mains, 2 for the side channels, and 2 for the rears), an SVS Ultra Center speaker, 4 SVS Prime Elevation speakers ceiling mounted for Dolby Atmos and 2 SVS SB-3000 Subwoofers. The system is powered by a Yamaha Aventage RX-A8A 11 channel AVR with an AC Infinity AIRCOM T9 keeping it cool, and all are connected to a Panamax M5400-PM Power Conditioner. I'm considering an external power amp since currently each speaker in my system is receiving only 50 watts. Should I go with a 5 channel amp or a 7 to cover the entire bed layer? Also, is there a particular brand you could recommend that would pair well with my SVS speakers? I wouldn't mind a little on the bright side since my 69 year old ears don't hear the greatest. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Bless you my friend!!!

the jvc z9 price dropped drastically (altho still very expensive). i wanna get it but don't know if a must have replacement is on the horizon. have you heard anything? i just wanna be able to decide if i should pick it up or wait for the replacement.
I have not heard anything other than speculation from a website article someone sent me a few months ago.
JVC mention a few years ago when they introduced the new NZ7, NZ8, and NZ9 that it would be at least three years before they introduced a new model. So I would suspect there is likely something in the works, we just don’t have any details, or when that will be announced.
@Youthman thank you! i suppose i'll go ahead and grab it because the only must have upgrade for me would be native 8k.. and i kinda doubt and hope that don't happen 😂... even then, the price difference would surely be well over 10k.
It’s always difficult to anticipate what features new models will have. No matter what we buy today, there’s always going to be something bigger and better tomorrow. But at some point we just have to figure out what will work for our needs and our budget and enjoy it. I’ve never been one personally that Hass to have the latest / greatest.
