Sometimes in my sleep I hear the lingering sound of a guitar riff as I skydive off the helicarrier for the nth time. I need a part two to explain why I'm still psychologically exploring New York City years after completing *the* game 100%.
Dude ever since I've played the original and started with Dexter's diner and realizing that was on coruscant, that's what I thought too like just having a hub world in coruscant or having one at the Jedi Temple would have been amazing especially like if it was the original in 2005 and it had all the OG characters
@ROYGBIVDoReMiFaSoLaTiDo-w4p omg man sometimes I'll start a new game on my second memory card just to see that cutscene again and replay at the beginning, and I always thought it was so cool that it was on coruscant and having the ships parked outside was just such a cool little achievement that made completely beating the game so much more worth it
@@ROYGBIVDoReMiFaSoLaTiDo-w4p that was one of my favorite parts, just hearing the peaceful music walking around outside the diner, and the fact that it was on coruscant made certain battles even cooler like you would see episode 2 obi wan fight episode 1 maul and it was just pretty cool, literally ever since that game I always thought a Jedi Temple or coruscant hub world would have been awesome
I agree, it was by far my favorite part and it was just so much fun especially the diner as well. The cantina you have to initiate fights but at Dexter's diner? No they fight all the time
@@freddybobic1891 Can't go wrong with Extreme Retro way beyond it's time period 50's Diner in a place completely unrelated to the point we don't even know if Earth even exists anymore in the Star Wars Universe.
I'm so glad somebody agrees, and you're not wrong the atmosphere is unmatched, I love the idol music I love the random fights and I love the characters in general it just feels like you're playing a clone Wars game and it's so much fun and the fact that it's on course on just makes it so much cooler, by far I've definitely spent more time here I think than the cantina unless you count Lego Star Wars tcs on the ds
A part 2 for this video would be great! I’d also like to see you talk about the BIONICLE Heroes hub world. It’s not a traditional LEGO game, but I sunk a lot of hours into it as a kid
these hubworlds felt so magical it really felt alive cause there was many people around you and you were in smaler places whe i was little i used to think that the hubworld from the first lego star wars was a giant space ship but of course the open worlds + the voice acting are better i say yes for a part two
Could you use some background music on super low volume next time? Otherwise I really liked everything else and the editing had a nice tempo, keep it up!
21:52 This video was really cool. I think throughout the video it could have used some music to make some of the script reading feel a little less awkward. Just very low in the background while you speak. Awesome video though keep it up!
I was just reminiscing the good old days playing Lego Marvel or Batman and wanted to see the other Lego hub worlds. Your video did not disappoint!😹😹👏🏼👏🏼
forgot to mention that in lego clone wars, you can actually take your capital ship into hyperspace to every single planet. I don't recall if it actually served a gameplay purpose, but it was pretty neat. Also I will not have Indiana Jones 2 slander in this house
I'd count some non-TT Lego games as having hub worlds. Lego Island's island counts as a hub world to the various minigames and Lego Island 2's main island counts as a hub to the other islands you can visit via the portals (and space center), while Lego Racers 2 has the player drive around the world and talk to people to trigger the actual races.
Great video man. I personally loved the Indiana Jones 2 hubworld, I thought it was so cool after playing Star Wars and Batman. I also love mini things, so seeing all the locations miniaturized was so cool to me. Also loved doing all the puzzles in it. Maybe if I played it today I would be less impressed but as a kid it was great. Harry Potter 1-4 was probably the most fun I had overall of all the games I played, loved going around Hogwarts.
Please make a video in this series DEDICATED to Lego Dimensions' hub worlds. That would be the first of its kind and you would honestly be a saint in the RUclips LEGO community for that.
Love the jokes, Love your opinions and added commentary as to what you'd like without over critiquing. Nitpicking (Imo) can ruin critique but its well. You had much more room for talking but you did great making it succinct. The tone is great and love the analysis. Great video!
im a lb1 fan so its funny you say 1 face because you actually can play harvey dent just only in the ds version, also there IS a cutscene where batman is browsing capes for sale so technically thats his search history
I just realized ... the spongebob screwdriver scene ... was a trobe towards the blueflash happening, a slip of the screwdriver during atomic core radiation testing
I prefer Dexter's Diner to the Mos Eisley Cantina. It had a nicer estetic that worked nicely with pretty much all the characters. It's also more appropriate since it's a neutral ground, unlike the Jedi Temple.
as a kid i enjoyed the pirates of the caribbean games more then bat man something about being in pirate ships and islands felt nicer as a kid then in lego bat man which felt like a gta rip off except it was always night and raining for some reason...
Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 is kind of annoying memory as there was a game breaking bug they fixed on every console but Wii, the console I had.. Anyways
Really wish you had been able to do the shout out for Dante on this. I’m not sure if you saw my last comment or not on your previous video. Do you accept cashapp or something? I’m willing to pay for it. He absolutely adores you. Or like a cameo style video? Please consider it!
I didn’t see the comment on the first video, but after discovering this comment and the other comment today I can definitely shout him out in my next video :) thank you
Yes absolutely do part 2 of this video there are so many other worlds still to cover
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS( ´Д`)
YES! He needs to do a part 2!
Sometimes in my sleep I hear the lingering sound of a guitar riff as I skydive off the helicarrier for the nth time. I need a part two to explain why I'm still psychologically exploring New York City years after completing *the* game 100%.
Ngl I love Dexter's diner but a jedi temple hub world in classic lego style coulda been cool af
None of the hub worlds are brick built
@bobbymcfee2974 lego worlds and the lego movie 2 are
Oh and lego movie 1 also @bobbymcfee2974

I honestly think Dexter's diners underrated, like it's so much fun, especially the randomized fights outside

Lego Batman 2 really has a lot of firsts, Hubworld being so massive, voiced characters.
Flying characters and speedsters as well!
Gotta say, the Clone Wars was my favorite hub world it’s just so edging cool to travel in a venator and the invisible hand.
Really great video, you should try to add some music in it ! Keep up the good work !

Great video man
Great video man. I reckon put some light background music to break some of those silences. Cant wait for part 2
i'd be interested in a short video covering different collectables (minikit vehicles, treasure trove, etc. )

I definitely would love to see a part 2 of the Lego hub worlds.
Lego batman 2s hub world was peak
Lego Indy 2 had characters wandering around, or needed them to be unlocked after combat much like the later games.
Good video man, love your sense of humour, keep it up!

That is, assuming he has access to all of them to record gameplay.
If not, I could. I'm one of 12 idiots who bought it all lol
gorgeous video but splitting into 2 parts was a mistake in my opinion would've indulged a 1 hour video on this topic
Part 2 please!
that FDR ref was good.
I am happy to be your 1000th like. Well deserved.
Great video
great idea for a video. keep it up!
I never played lego batman on the console, I played it on the DS and the hub world is much different.

I just realized ... the spongebob screwdriver scene ... was a trobe towards the blueflash happening, a slip of the screwdriver during atomic core radiation testing
"and one face" XDD I gotta use that line in some sort of video
Ngl out of the hundreds of times I played OT I was today years old when I learned you could leave the cantina to go touch grass... sand*
I almost wouldn’t have included Lego Batman 2, as I think that represents the biggest change in the hub worlds, as that was the first fully open world
"How to punch a penguin into prison" always have wondered that
bro i love your jokes
like the fact that the only arhkam game with the batcave is origins witch isnt even made by rock steady

Lego Star Wars complete saga bar fights are awesome
I have the game disk form and sometimes boot it up to just star fights

Idk why but 2:25 made me jump
Lego Batman 2 hub world is GOATED
Lego batman 2 hub world was insane a full city with no loading screensx
I am in the thumbnail 🤗
9:51 “they hate me for being a BAT”
Dexters Dinner is goated
Yeah

Good video blud
You didn't tell us about the fights outside ... Makes Lego series worth it. They should expand on it
good video
I'd always have to avoid buying evil characters in Lego Star Wars 2 so there weren't constant fights
Where's part 2?
cover more lego star wars stuff
Lego Lord of the Rings was really the best of the open world hubs
I was just about to comment and saying you missed the asylum. Good bait haha
Joker's name is Jack Oswald
Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 is kind of annoying memory as there was a game breaking bug they fixed on every console but Wii, the console I had.. Anyways
Indiana jones gets fired if the newer Indiana jones game is cannon
Dex’s Diner gang rise up
Did you play on low graphics?
Joe Paria?
I kinda wish you used better footage for some of the hubs, pirates and harry potter 2 looked kinda bad with the lower graphic settings
where is part 2
12:30
It’s called Dex’s Diner, not Dexter’s Diner smdh
Can you do eating legos on camera please
What about Lego lord of the rings which doesn’t have a hub world
Lego city is the best Lego game in my opinion!!!
It's almost 2025 and Robert is still useless.
