An absolute classic Kev window. Signs a cheap RB, then signs one for 20m+ who isn't that much better. Then finds a wonderkid RB and decides he won't use him and tries to loan him out only to find Barcelona want him. Then couldn't afford a striker. So ends up buying another RB with the remaining 20 odd million. *Chefs kiss*
Idk I don't think its exactly as bad as you described because so many of the defenders he signed are so flexible... but ya saying you need a striker and then following that up with signing two defensive players is pretty funny
The realism of this save is off the charts: pay for an overpriced player, getting a better player for cheaper, deciding to play the lesser player to justify the price tag he paid for it 😂
This exact stadium thing happened to me with Exeter. It’s a glitch in the game and they are expanding the ground you are currently in, the Peter Shilton stadium. Basically you have just lost £25m. Incredibly harsh.
Imagine if teams only did sell shirts to their stadium capacity .. sales would go down massively. The game would become insular, no world wide audiences and after a time teams like Everton would actually benefit from ffp 😂
Well looks like Kev will not move if this stadium is approved. This has to be a record to manage only 2 clubs in Kev's FM Non-League to Legend save. Keep going Kev.
With the O'Donoghue contract situation: when I've had this ive asked the player to sack the agent, which they normally do and then renegotiate with the player/new agent. Sometimes works to get around ridiculous release clauses👍
I signed Muzambo on a free with Middlesbrough in the second summer window. Within 3 seasons he was worth £124m and had a PL and CL title to his name. Best signing ever
I’ve just finished my first ever save as Scunthorpe finished 2046 winning the quintuple really enjoyed playing and just to let you know you were my inspiration to get it keep up the good work
The small stadium increase was the response to your request. They were going to upgrade the stadium anyway, as this was in the club vision, and that was the big stadium increase that replaced it. Playing in Ireland with the Feb-Nov season i've requested in august when hitting Europe, it's been approved then at the end of the season the work in progress suddenly gets abandoned and replaced with a new one.
It looks like the stadium this year is going to be the small stadium upgrade to the 7.5k seats while you're at Nottingham but the construction starts at the end of this season for the big stadium upgrade so perhaps that hasn't been processed yet?
you're upgrading the shilton stadium. happened to me in the same situation when i rented old trafford with chorley. i split the costs with united to expand old trafford to ¬95k seats
Got Boston town to the prem, spent 3 years there with a 5k stadium. New one is built now 31k capacity and so glad I stayed, in champions league and making history 😁
I'm wondering... is it the Peter Shilton Stadium that's going to be expanded? That wouldn't really make sense, but neither does adding 40,000 seats to the Pirelli...
I think it's got to be the Peter Shilton stadium that's being expanded... I can only guess that he hit the "expand stadium" request with the already-planned Pirelli expansion being worked on. Expansion requests normally take a couple of days so there's a chance Kev accidentally found a weird spot to request something that the game didn't know how to handle
No it is very obviously the Pirelli it literally says so in the Facilities screen. It was 5k when they move back it will be 7.5k. It was only a visual bug in the announcement because for some reason the game did not take the current 5k of the Pirelli plus the 2.5k expansion to show but the 5k of the Pirelli plus the 42k of the Peter Shilton.
with sponsorships, if they signed a 5 year deal (3 years ago) then it wont increase until that sponsorship is finished - whether you are in the prem or not you need to check when they expire
Imran Louza always seems to be a newly promoted stress signing don’t think he ever seems to settle for mid table pushing sides with good enough stats considering his creative potential
@lollujo do you think you can make this save game available at the end point of this video please? This looks like probably the best save i’ve seen and so want to take this challenge on!
In my Maidstone save in FM20, we rented Craven Cottage when we arrived in the Prem, while we did expansion. Then the following season shared with Crystal Palace for a season while we built a new stadium 😂 Just before we left we paid half the costs of expanding Selhurst Park 🙄
"Well, we'd planned to increase the stadium capacity by 2,500 seats, but having spoken to you about it, we can see that it makes more sense to increase by 35,000 instead."
The big stadium expansion was only planned, not approved. I guess as long as it's not approved, you will still see the plans for the smaller stadium expansion in your facility overview.
Birmingham City got promoted while Villa were relegated. And Pep has jumped ship to Arsenal. Maybe he was sacked by Man City after losing the league title to Chelsea by 15 points.
Kev, did you see on the Board Aims inbox item that they have the aim of "Expand the Stadium" and the status was "In Progress". Have they indicated that to you?
Commenting before knowing the outcome of this - but if you sign Saturday Sunday, and he turns into a star this coming season - we need some Saturday Sunday Happy Days merch.
Kev, I know your joking, but "Football Manager 'Might@ have bugs in it" ............ I'd like to remind you that the BUG you first found was NOT A BUG! It was your Graphics Card Driver......Like a lot of us told you from the outset..............Keep up the great work though, I am loving the series.
No, it’s a bug with the game. We found a workaround by changing the driver. But a video game should work with a gaming specific graphics card and driver. It’s something SI need to fix.
I use the agents and the intermediaries and offer them out a lot and put them on the transfer list if I don’t want them, and I don’t mind selling them for well below what the game says their value is.
Having just watched your Wigan video (which was great to see you do it with some financial constraints placed on yourself!) the transfers are ao broken this year. They've always been stupid in terms of fringe players going for silly money or clubs spending £60m on a player to only start him twice, but its on another level this year. Mallorca spending £18m is so unrealistic let alone doing so on a very average championship player (ability wise). Desperately hope they address this in the winter patch.
Kev what I try do when a release clause is included is add a one year optional extension. Then if the clause gets activated I use the activation to cancel any deal.
Sponsorships, attendance and new followers of clubs is always broken on FM. The success you get would increase all of them more quickly but it never does in game. Really wish you could have more influence with that side of the game or it just worked more realistic.
An absolute classic Kev window. Signs a cheap RB, then signs one for 20m+ who isn't that much better. Then finds a wonderkid RB and decides he won't use him and tries to loan him out only to find Barcelona want him. Then couldn't afford a striker. Next episode: Why do we have so many right backs?
Idk I don't think its exactly as bad as you described because so many of the defenders he signed are so flexible... but ya saying you need a striker and then following that up with signing two defensive players is pretty funny
The realism of this save is off the charts: pay for an overpriced player, getting a better player for cheaper, deciding to play the lesser player to justify the price tag he paid for it 😂
Kev is copying a certain international manager
Complete chaos, and I loved it!
This exact stadium thing happened to me with Exeter. It’s a glitch in the game and they are expanding the ground you are currently in, the Peter Shilton stadium. Basically you have just lost £25m. Incredibly harsh.
5k seats, 11.5k shirts sold.. Presuming Burton is a chilly old place if they need extra layers on
Haha, I thought this too
Imagine if teams only did sell shirts to their stadium capacity .. sales would go down massively. The game would become insular, no world wide audiences and after a time teams like Everton would actually benefit from ffp 😂
That or those 11.5k fans take turns going to the stadium. 🤣
Well looks like Kev will not move if this stadium is approved. This has to be a record to manage only 2 clubs in Kev's FM Non-League to Legend save. Keep going Kev.
Did you notice that your new wonderkid goalkeeper has 18 eccentricity? That guy will be a fun one to watch!
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one 😂😂😂
@@SteffenSandford If he's set to be a sweeper-keeper, we'll likely see him charging downfield on counter-attacks!
Can't wait for those highlights.
my last wonderkid goalkeeper with high eccentricity was a complete psychopath
I keep getting recommended a 4star goalie in the prem that has 3 aerial reach. 5’10” 🫣 How is he any good? 🤣
If only he were Argentinian, we'd know who's re-gen he is...
The huge stadium expansion was "planned" and not announced
Anyway, what a summer!
With the O'Donoghue contract situation: when I've had this ive asked the player to sack the agent, which they normally do and then renegotiate with the player/new agent. Sometimes works to get around ridiculous release clauses👍
Scottish lad called Dane Ironside has to be the best name since... well since Saturday Sunday
I wrote that before I discovered mr. Ussene.
19:25 he called him Pocho!! 🎉🎉
Kev made it on to the Legends list for Burton
I signed Muzambo on a free with Middlesbrough in the second summer window. Within 3 seasons he was worth £124m and had a PL and CL title to his name. Best signing ever

It said it would be done in March like the 7.5k would be.
Kev: may leave because we cant buy a stadium
Burton board:.... we bought a stadium and rented one for now
you're upgrading the shilton stadium. happened to me in the same situation when i rented old trafford with chorley. i split the costs with united to expand old trafford to ¬95k seats
Yes Kev. Big summer ahead!! Unless you switch clubs 👀👀 can’t wait to watch this episode.
Got Boston town to the prem, spent 3 years there with a 5k stadium. New one is built now 31k capacity and so glad I stayed, in champions league and making history 😁
I heaved at the end when i saw your staff levels compared to the rest of the league. The GK staff need some serious upgrades!
I thought for sure when I saw 42mins and you’d already spent “all the money” you had had a job offer 💴
I'm wondering... is it the Peter Shilton Stadium that's going to be expanded? That wouldn't really make sense, but neither does adding 40,000 seats to the Pirelli...

This is the 40 minute transfer special I've been looking forward to! Love these
Love that one of your filters in the squad overview is jumping reach! 😂
It’s the most important one!
Would have loved to have seen Benda and Homo in the same team.
If thats actually a glitch and you are expanding the peter Shilton stadium.
I think we can say goodbye burton at this point i guess
Imran Louza always seems to be a newly promoted stress signing don’t think he ever seems to settle for mid table pushing sides with good enough stats considering his creative potential
I think they are going to expand The Peter Shilton Stadium and you are going back to The Pirelli, what an investment
@lollujo do you think you can make this save game available at the end point of this video please? This looks like probably the best save i’ve seen and so want to take this challenge on!
A wonderkid Uruguyan keeper signed at a very low price to a team looking to establish itself in the Prem? Where have i seen that before?
In my Maidstone save in FM20, we rented Craven Cottage when we arrived in the Prem, while we did expansion. Then the following season shared with Crystal Palace for a season while we built a new stadium 😂 Just before we left we paid half the costs of expanding Selhurst Park 🙄
Now that is a transfer special
And just like that, Burton turned into the poor man's chelsea
"Well, we'd planned to increase the stadium capacity by 2,500 seats, but having spoken to you about it, we can see that it makes more sense to increase by 35,000 instead."
The big stadium expansion was only planned, not approved. I guess as long as it's not approved, you will still see the plans for the smaller stadium expansion in your facility overview.
dylan smith has 1 dribbling...how is that even possible for a prem level CB 😂
You can never leave Burton!
Kev finding out his director of football is Les Ferdinand is just hilarious 😂
I remember hiring him now!
My 2027/28 Shrewsbury team plays in the Michael Owen stadium in Birmingham, while the ground is being increased
That is Incredibly cursed
I thought my Bath City save where we're playing at the 90K Gareth Southgate Arena in Bristol while we build a 35K stadium back in Bath was bad.
Quintana Is not pronounced "queen-tana", its "keen-tana" =)
De Bie is pronounced "the bee" 🐝🐝🐝 in Dutch. Source: am Belgian 😊
Been at burton for 8 years due to have a 28,500 stadium built in 2034 not to far off where you are at
Birmingham City got promoted while Villa were relegated. And Pep has jumped ship to Arsenal. Maybe he was sacked by Man City after losing the league title to Chelsea by 15 points.
Love you kev
Kev, did you see on the Board Aims inbox item that they have the aim of "Expand the Stadium" and the status was "In Progress". Have they indicated that to you?
Well Nottingham has high quality stadia for multiple sports
De Bie is pronounced as de bee (wich is more fun than dubay imo)🐝
Commenting before knowing the outcome of this - but if you sign Saturday Sunday, and he turns into a star this coming season - we need some Saturday Sunday Happy Days merch.
2 minutes later my hopes and dreams are crushed.
Stay at Nottingham? Sounds like youre making another MK Dons Kev
We could have called Saturday Sunday the weekend 😂😂😂
Anyone else notice he's listed as a club legend for Burton now?
I would holiday forward 12 months to see wha thappens with the ground - would do my head in not knowing
Maybe SI should let their games cook a little bit longer instead of releasing a mostly same game every year? Radical concept, I know.
You have Solari set to play as a pressing forward and he is a natural advanced forward and better than Leeburn if you let him play in his position.
I wonder if the drop on stadium attendance has something to do with the drop in sponsorship money.
I cant handle this Alfie Devine disrespect. That boy should get another year as your starting attacking mid fielder.
I’d love to know how you sell so many players, I can never get people sold.
I use the agents and the intermediaries and offer them out a lot and put them on the transfer list if I don’t want them, and I don’t mind selling them for well below what the game says their value is.
Surely Saturday Sunday gets renamed 'The Weekend' ?
do you stream this save kev?
No
I do hope u get your tycoon takeover
Having just watched your Wigan video (which was great to see you do it with some financial constraints placed on yourself!) the transfers are ao broken this year. Wanted Saturday Sunday sign for Wednesday
Tycoon takeover💷💷💷lets gooo
Signing saturday Sunday has weekend the squad.
Kev what I try do when a release clause is included is add a one year optional extension. Then if the clause gets activated I use the activation to cancel any deal.
Tycoon takeover, 47k stadium planned? If that outlook is not enough, keep your Burton estate. Butler Alfred will take care of it as long as you're out
Who’s the best name in the game player you’ve ever had?
kev i think you guys are upgrading the generated stadium in nottingham 😭😭😭 you guys are paying 25m just use the in game editor man
Please sign Saturday Sunday in the future
Sir Lesley Ferdinand if you don't mind
25000 defenders. 1 league 1 striker. It's quite possible the team is abit lob sided.
Drop Burton, Kev. Come to derby!!
KEV!! You need sign a Mr Straight... & Pan, to join De Bie and Homo
Hoping Villa come in for you mid-season, and lead us back to glory!
Sponsorships, attendance and new followers of clubs is always broken on FM. The success you get would increase all of them more quickly but it never does in game. Really wish you could have more influence with that side of the game or it just worked more realistic.
You should stay at Burton
Amo-ameyaw is an atrocious signing for that much money
Surely fm problems and its upgrading the rented stadium losing 25m 😮
Why ask for an expansion when you need a new one ?
Because quite often the board don’t want to build a new one so it’s more likely to get the stadium expanded.
@seanchandley1604 yes but asking for an expansion and getting it nullifies the chances of building a new one
Video demonetized for signing a player with a slur as his name. 😆
But he sold Benda, so it evens out 😂
Maybe you can sign The Weekend as your alternate uptop
I prayed for rain, and got a Tycoon. Kev will build the stadium. Please footballmanagerGODS.
