Good analysis and concept. re pruning it looks like the cut on the right cut into white (living) tissue, and some dead wood was not cut on the left, where it is inhibiting closure. Did you "miss a spot"? It's tricky for sure. Terpene makes sense as a sealant ingredient. Good to experiment with this stuff; some sealants are good to try.

Now my question is I can’t find Orange Rind Oil or Terpene Oil Bees Wax Mix anywhere. Is there a place you can recommend that I could purchase it or tell me how to make the mix? Dont cut the cambeum layer it takes longer too heal and nore likely to get fungus grow there and other thing add foam there insted for the foam too soak up the water and if you really want to you replace the foam here and there

We own two Apple trees in our back yard. One of them is a Machintosh with a similar problem. Could I treat the wound the same way? cheers

No cement, no foam. Traps moisture in behind

There is good probability that rot will stop progress when humidity is kept at bay and the Tre will seal the hole.
