Yeah tbh I don’t even get how you do any sort of graphic update to a game this big so the fact they’re able to do anything is pretty impressive to me nonetheless. Moreso than anything I hope they make it so ps5 can run the game at 4k/60 because there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to if you can do it with games released this year
It's really mostly some better hair/eyebrow quality and new shaders, but given there seems to be a proper Global Illumination or at least cubemap usage in normal play, it'll fix the characters looking like solid block colors almost in dramatic lighting scenes. Plus my Au Ra's scales should finally stop looking so muddy and splotchy.
Well, you can't expect them to rework all armor and character textures (along with bumps). That would be some tremendous work for an expansion. The shaders seem at least better and I hope that they would positively impact the environment as well. Sure, there are better shader mods, but different players like different shaders so this one gives an overall more refreshed look. Personally I like the eye details more in the rework. like im happy theyre smoother and all but they look soooo bland.
Looks much better without drastically changing the game we know excited for the xpac
I’ll be more excited now when the game does the constant close ups on characters and not cringe at the bad textures lol
My main beef with the graphics has always been character/armor textures as the game loves to do close ups and it looked pretty bad
Ok so... that's it? They activated more light reflection in game and people go crazy? Guess it doesn't take much to get SE fans excited 🤔 like ok the armor got more textures and the there is more light reflexion like the faces and all but people say like it's game changer and all.... underwhelming tbh
I kinda don't like how the femroe chin got smoothed out, I like the sharp chin, but the rest I like!
they change from pre bake shadow on texture to realtime and some new shader effect. character model have more polygon but still maintain original looks.
The character models don't change at all it's purely a texture and lighting upgrade
Are people really complaining about this here ?😂😂 bruh what did you expect?
wow nipps discovered postfx holy fuck maybe 20 more years and yoshi will discover what mmo gameplay should be like wow
Hey maybe they will add more than one Beard. One can always dream
oh heyy the low poly horns is atleast a bit more decent now, and I like how the femras looks softer than usual.
Still no loadingscreen free cities?
Cant wait for Y'shtola model upgraded version
They finally gave Lalafells souls in their eyes.
My PS4 will be dying but oh well
This isnt a graphics upgrade, its a graphics compatibility update for xbox release. Thats why you look like swtor now, which had the same style of change when they ported to xbox too.
Too bad they couldn't improve the hair more and I think the beasts might look worse
