I have configured nexus repository and added address in pom and mirrors in settings.xml in .m2 folder. But maven always points to nexus and does not download other dependencies. How to configure settings.xml such that other dependencies than our own jar should be downloaded from internet by maven. Please help. Is it mandatory to have proxy repo with nexus when using maven private repository? Maven downloads all required dependencies for building even when not mentioned in pom when no private repo is used for building. The problem arises when we use private repo.
