This happened to me and my husband who were looking at corvettes. The guy treated us like we were nothing and wouldn't even let us drive the car.. We ended up buying a corvette but not from him. We went to another dealer then we pulled up In our new corvette and complained to his manager and told manager that we had no choice but to go to another dealer.
I hope they fired him
Happened to me years ago as well in a Harley Davidson dealership. I walked in with the intention of buying a bike (cash) and as I was standing and looking at the bike I was about to buy, 2 salesman rushed me and told me not to touch the motorcycle and that it was too much for me and I probably couldn't afford it. They didn't whisper this to me, everyone in the showroom heard it. I left and went to a Victory motorcycle showroom and bought me a bike straight up cash. That Sacramento HD dealership lost out on $$$$$ for profiling me, embarrassing me and exhibiting white privilege.

Yeah it's stupid some people will literally judge you by your shoes I got shoes that I love they fit perfect LOL with duct tape on the ends of them but I'm a multi-millionaire..................... the other day I was at Walmart and one of the kids help me out I have an M5 and he's just like what you could just see the look in his eyes okay you obviously have money but you're fucking wearing shoes with duct tape on them because I don't give a fuk obviously if I want to dress up I'll do that but on the regular that's how I look I don't give a fuck I'm clean my clothes are clean and that's all I care about I don't give a shit what the name says

This man is soo humble and despite the humiliation he stood his ground and deal with everyone professionally. From this all,a big lesson was learnt, which is don't judge a book by its cover because you never know who people are.

We also went to look at corvettes and the girl looked at us down her nose. We were told we couldn't afford their car. It was a piece of crap. It had scratches on it. We left that dealer. Found a 60th Anniversary Edition with less than 18,000 miles in mint condition. Little did she know at the dealer we left we pay Cash for everything. Even our homes. I am not bragging. We have been blessed the last few years. God gets all the glory. My husband bought me a Lexus for birthday. An RX 450H Hybrid he paid cash. It was a blessing to me. The Corvette was just a fun thing we can't do a motorcycle anymore. We had a wreck and I was injured. He said no more, but wanted us to still have that kind of fun without feeling so exposed to to cars thinking they could run us off the road. Thank God he was able to control the layover. Other wise I wouldn't be here. That is the biggest reason we got a Corvette. We went back with it. Told the girl, and her manager, we got a much nicer car. We were treated with dignity and respect. My Lexus sitting in the parking lot was all they needed for us to drive it. They never even asked for a Driver's license. We went to Alabama. We had called and told them we were coming and they held it until we got there to see it too. They said that was a 3 hour drive and it needed to be on the lot for us to see. They would hold it until we had at least seen it. Then it was fair game after 2 hours. Fair enough. We bought and drove it home. They offered to deliver it free. If I was uncomfortable driving home alone. Now that is customer service.

I saved for years to get myself a little runaround in my retirement due to declining health.
It was winter so I'd wrapped up in warm clothing , put on some boots and took a bag with a flask in to keep out the chill while I walked the car lots.
The very first showroom I went in they immediately thought I was homeless and just gone inside for a free coffee and I was asked to leave , that has to have been the lowest point of my life being old , ill and treated like something they'd wipe off the bottom of their shoe.
The next place was polar opposite and couldn't do enough for me regardless of whether or not they believed I could buy a car and my faith in human nature restored.....I bought a car from them and still own to this day 👍

As a service engineer i experienced this many times. Especially working in the city. When in a lift we stopped on next floor and peoples reaction when the door opened. Once in uk three of us got stck in a lift in a department store for 45 mins, finally the door was opened and the shoppers said, 'oh it's only the workers'.

A lot of times people who they think they have a job and can be so rude to anyone and make poor judgement when they have no idea who they are dealing with. In my opinion to be fair and respected and treat others as you want to be treated should be done accordingly anywhere but in the new society things can’t be changed till they lost it and regret of how they act towards other people.
Never judge someone by their appearance just like you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. You’re not in a position to judge someone on their true worth or on their character because you think they’re beneath you.

It's sad that so many people are stuck on material things and stuck on themselves, while talking down 👎 at people because of how they look or the clothes they wear! We came in to this world with nothing and we carry nothing with us when we die! Being narcissistic and hung up on Vanity is crazy! What are you going to do when your beauty fades with age?!!? No matter what you gain, money or material things, when you leave this world, it will still be here! Too much wealth and beauty will bring you sorrow and insecurity. And be careful who you disrespect, because it may be the one in charge of your future!

I have people that treat me that way all the time. I am not rich, but I went from poor to millionaire. I go to the gym a lot so I tend to wear sweats out most of the time. When I go to the store or shopping people treat me like I do not have any money. I am always courteous and polite. I earn enough to place me in the top 5% of the nation. My wife also has a six figure income. We live frugally and are continuously looking for ways to improve our savings. I am always amazed when salespeople treat me like I am beneath them or as though I cannot afford the product.
Unfortunately our World is full of people like this! Judgement comes from God and Jesus Christ tried his best to teach others about not judging one another! So hopefully this is a lessons learned for this lady!
