That's their highest 1st day sale ever and simply amazing. Compare it to NewJeans for example, who sold over 1.2M on their first day but struggle to keep up with YT views in relation. Views really mean nothing. Look at the sales & streams. ITZY is doing very well! The only reason this album appears so divided is the lack of a concept, paired with marketing & production issues. There are so many different songs you will hardly find people who like them all. And many Midzys find the lack of consistency off-putting. For me personally, CAKE & Killshot (which is also marketed very badly unfortunately) are the BEST songs of the album.

Kill My Doubt reportedly sold over 320k albums on day 1. That's their highest 1st day sale ever and simply amazing.
Compare it to NewJeans for example, who sold over 1.2M on their first day but struggle to keep up with YT views in relation. Views really mean nothing. Look at the sales & streams. ITZY is doing very well!
The only reason this album appears so divided is the lack of a concept, paired with marketing & production issues. There are so many different songs you will hardly find people who like them all. And many Midzys find the lack of consistency off-putting.
For me personally, CAKE & Killshot (which is also marketed very badly unfortunately) are the BEST songs of the album.
