@gbomify i notice that ppl that learn english as a 2nd language tend to speak it more properly because theyre learning it from the ground up, usually textbook or classroom style. and ppl that learn it as a first language are more casual with it because they learn it conversationally.less formal and proper...just something i've noticed...more slang, vocal fillers, etc

@95gracew Well yes, she is American so I guess you can say English is her first language. What you forget is that she's been in Korea for almost what...ten years now? The oppourtunity to speak English regularly doesn't present itself often. Even with Jessica So naturally, the smallest hint of an accent comes out sometimes. It happens when you switch between languages like that It happens to me when I speak spanish and then switch to english, even though i'm completely fluent in it lol

Trust me I am majoring in Literature and even Lit Majors say "um and like" frequently.But besides that, it isn't that hard to switch back and forth from Korean and English.Most Korean American actually incorporate some Korean into English (not Konglish). Tiffany here on the other hand left the old US when she was in Middle School and majority of her time she speaks Korean so i would image her English has digressed.
