Thank you for watching! So let me ask you...what is the biggest turning point in your life?

I didn't get to build a relationship with someone I genuinely cared about on a level I never expected to, and went through a similar process where I had to take an intense look into my values and goals for life. It was such a huge source of disappointment, but I had to turn that energy into fuel for improving myself.

This is super relatable. I've gone through similar in my life as well. I'm glad that you were able to turn that energy into becoming a better person! Thanks for watching and stay in touch

That "My closest friends had other friends they were closer to" hit me in the memories.

    Daaamn, I can feel this!
The turning point in my life was when I graduated university. My closest person left me just before that, so all I could do was working hard to get my degree, finally.
It made me understand that nobody owes you anything. You can loose anything anytime. And...that made everything easier) Because you, at the same time, don't have to apologize for who you really are and for the path you wanna follow.
Also, my parents never believed one can earn any money for his artworks. That's why I had to get my degree in engineering - just because they wished me wealthy life. Though I've been drawing for my whole life and was already getting some money for my art, hahah)) The same rule worked.
And then, as there was no more pressure and nothing to lose, I had a chance to ask myself what I really want to be. Damn, that was a real choice, and...since that time every job I got was connected with drawing or painting somehow:)
I can't say that everything is perfect now (omg i have sooo many bad habits to work on), but one thing is clear for me - I want to dedicate my life to art, and that's the only way to be happy.
    Great video, Josh!
    And great channel:)
It's always amazing to see someone is happy to find his own way finally.

Hey Anastasiya, thanks for watching! I resonate with what you just said. I've recently discovered the concept that nobody owes you anything. It sucks because you can grow to depend on certain people or things in your life to be there, until you realize they have no obligation to be there for you. It can be rough to go through, but it makes you stronger in the end. It's nice to hear from you and I appreciate your comment. I hope all is well and stay in touch :)

Love your channel, Josh! Curious as to how long it takes you to edits your videos?
I recently started recording RUclips videos - but don't do any editing, which I'm sure is not a recipe for success on this platform these days...
    Thanks for your time brother!

Hey thanks Derek! It depends on the video but I think on average roughly a couple of hours. In my opinion, you don't necessarily need to worry about a ton of editing. That is related to your personal style of videos you create. Some creators avoid background music, some prefer it, some use a lot of cuts, some don't. I think it's just a style preference. That's awesome you started making videos man!! I'm checking out your channel out now. Keep up the awesome stuff!

My biggest turning point was moving from the East to West Coast. It has been god damn hard. I've had points of deep fear, depression, anxiety, and the works. But I am also well aware that it's building me into the person I want to be. And I love that. Keep at it, Josh. :)

Haha you played soccer too? What position?? Love that you're feeling like your move is making you into the person you want to be. I felt the same when I moved from the west coast to the midwest. Thanks for watching and definitely stay in touch :)
