Change the Playback speed of this video to .05 (half speed) and bring the video to 0.37 and press play. Somebody please explain to me how that isn't Defensive Pass Interference, you can stop the video and the ball is 3 yards away from Corey Davis and the Viking defender is ON THE RECEIVERS BACK grabbing and tackling him, how can that play NOT be called? The Jets had to play a 9-2 team at their stadium and get twice as many penalties called for twice as many yards, not ebven counting a half dozen other plays that weren't even called.
Mark my words this lost will do more good than all of the wins we had. This team grew up today. Next week their going to find a way to win and go on a winning streak.

One friggin yard. The offensive play calling in the red zone was absolutely horrendous. Not White's fault. Had this game won. LaFleur has work to do.

Definitely played better than Wilson, but can’t help but see he missed a lot of open receivers and was late and inaccurate on a lot of throws. Glad he was better than Wilson but still doesn’t seem like a quarterback of the future.
No way any person who actually knows football can say white played bad when his oc had a terrible day, when his oline nd defense were sleep the first half and when u have 4 recievers dropping balls that are hitting them in the hands and chest, yea he threw 57 x but thats on having to play from behind the entire game and play calling, he missed a few as well but overall kept us alive in this game

i wouldnt say lafluer had a terrible day, but he had the inabilty to draw up plays in the redzone in the final drive.

Pass interference on mims at 2 min 42 seconds. Horrible!
Apparently when you're on the Vikings and playing at home you are ALLOWED to hit a player while the ball is still 3-4 yards away from the WR. There were probably a half a dozen of these uncalled on the Vikings plays-and they still nearly lost. I really hate when you have to play against the opponent AND the crooked zebra crew, same thing against Denver and the Patriots one we held on and the Pats won on-guess what an uncalled and plain as day block in the back-not to mention two hits to the head on Zach Wilson - Uncalled.
On the last play #25 had a step on the linebacker. A nice touch pass would have been a walk in TD.

How in the world do we not win against one of the worst defenses in the league and with our defense? Things are getting really twisted with this whole MW for king talk.
Cowboys 40-3 win over Vikings, this is what the Jets should of resulted.

I can see why the Jets lost yesterday, i counted over 7 times when Moore was open and White missed him… i know the Jets don’t like Moore but damn they are willing to lose instead of not throwing the ball to him… kinda sad if you ask me… even the Vikings secondary gave up on Moore

4th and driving down the field, White throws into double coverage while Moore was wide open for an east 1st down.
Yeah just looking at this video you can tell 90% of the time Wilson is Mike's first read. Play calling needs to improve, Davis and Moore were not well used in the script
Two QBs missing Moore wide open? Maybe three with Flacco. The OC has him low in the progression order.
I know there aren't morale victories but Im still proud of how Mike and offense balled out. It bodes well for the rest of the month. Plenty of football left to play. I would've definitely love the win, especially since it was within grasp but I also wanted to see what Mike White was made of as a passer and he showed the gap between him and Zach is larger than we thought. For the time being I think we have our QB till further notice
This is most of us “Zach-haters” (funny to think we were called haters lol) meant by QB play giving us a chance to win games. Mike balled out, I’d give him a 3-yr contract right now as our starter

Counted 13 drops one throw away and two batted down at the line of scrimmage that is 16 incomplete passes that aren’t his fault
What about the ints he should have thrown that the defense dropped. He should have had 4-6ints at end of game. He's lucky he game away with only 2

The “drops” were mostly late or off target throws
Mike is not a good coordinator man, he’s been so up & down. One week he’s good & then the other it’s like “What the fuck are you doing”
This week he got lucky to only throw 2ints. He should have thrown 4-6 if it wasn't for defense dropping the ball

Not really, we still a game up from chargers and pats, pats already lost this week and the chargers still have to play. So much can happen between now and the end of this month. They just need to go out and ball one game at a time

I Love Mike white but as a non mobile/statue qb you HAVE to instinctively run when it’s extremely open. On that last 3rd down he could’ve easily either got a first down or atleast picked up 7-8 n got out of bounds to make it more manageable….

@@MH-yp4or he doesn’t needa win a foot race, just make the right play when it presents itself. We’ve seen Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers slow asses take off in late game situations. This has nothing to do with speed just making the right(instinctive) play on getting a handful of yards(if not the first down) to put your team in a better situation. All he had to do is literally pump fake while he’s still already running in stride like you see in this last 3rd down of the game. QBs(especially slow ones) do it all the time to slightly throw defenses off to be able to pick up extra yards. Shit even without pump faking he woulda picked up a huge chunk of yards….this play came down to not speed, just INSTINCT. Had hella open field in front of him.

1:55, 4:55,4:44,5:15,5:32,6:25,7:29,7:46,10:12, 10:46, 11:50 If you think Mike White is not a better option at QB and cannot be developed you are wrong. His 1st interception was unlucky. His second was a forced throw on the last play. Every NFL QB with only 5 games of experience make a bad pass , bad decision, and incorrect reads. Those were 10-11 high end throws .
White played well Wilson would not have been able to play like this against the Vikings. Because of this performance he should be the starter the rest of the year
Wilson couldn’t have put up a game with 0 tds and 2 ints, to go with a sub 60 QBR and comp%, against one of the leagues worst passing defenses? If white plays badly against Buffalo why should he still have a starting job guaranteed?
Damn that backend GW needed to be inches over in the back. Safety and CBs zeroed in on Davis. Damn that was a TD if he made a back shoulder throw to GW in the back of the end zone. Jets really impressed me way more in this game. The better team lost by inches

@@TimesUp777 not really. That game was for the jets to lose. If the Vikings are that good then they should have convincingly beat them the way the cowboys beat the breaks off of the Vikings. Great teams don’t give opportunities like that twice. That’ll cost them in the postseason. A 2nd string QB outplayed Kirk. Just didn’t get the W.

So you also noticed it wasn’t the game everyone thought for White. At best his game vs Vikes was similar to Wilson’s vs first NE game.

I was one that believed he didn’t have the game others believed and did it by memory. Watching every throw it was worse than I thought. Passes not thrown on time, not seeing wide open receivers, missing 17 wide open for TD, passes thrown behind receivers. He should have been intercepted 5 times.

Multiple times he overlooked an open Moore for a much harder pass that wound up incomplete. Also, White's lack of speed is kind of amazing to watch. I'm not confident that he can out run all the refs on the field in a sprint.
Watching tape, you will literally ALWAYS see qbs miss wide open looks. On every single play. It's pretty common lol

No "moral victories", berrios should have caught that touchdown pass. Even with all the penalties against us, that would be the play of the game
Despite having over 350+ yards, he kept forcing balls into double coverage and overthrowing receivers. An okay day for him, but also exposed many other problems in the offense
He missed a handful of throws, no more than the average QB on a Sunday. He also made some unbelievable passes with touch, accuracy, precision and gave us a chance to win in the end on multiple drives. As of now, I’m riding with Mike white

He threw 2ints but it should have been 4-6 ints if defense didn't drop the ball. I have to agree here he threw alot of passes into Double coverage and the defense just seemed to know where he was going. I wonder if he's bot looking off the defense well enough. He def had more misses and misleads than the avg QB game

1-12 on passing 3rd down conversions....awful. Cant hit Moore on an open sideline rout on the last drive to give them 4 more downs to score with 16 seconds left. If you have your MW goggles on then pause it at the 12:20 mark and tell me he isnt open.

He played ok. He made some good throws and he made some bad throws but he also threw a lot of really stupid throws and should have had 4-6 ints if it wasn't for defsme dripping the ball. He's lucky he only threw 2 today

sideline camera showed whites td run was very skeptical. imo to close to overturn no td call. The announcers ignored the best angle of the play...they only showed it once. Sad.

White playing the 2nd worst defense in the league had the 2nd worst QB rating in the league.
A lot of good and a lot of bad from White hear. He threw behind receivers far too many times but he worked the pocket extremely well to buy time and deliver some darts. Can’t ask for much more though from your back up. He’s never gonna be consistently good because it’s an unrealistic ask for a player of his stature but if he can have a few moments like the 4th down to Corey it’ll keep us in games and you never know after that.
Respect everyone's opinion, but disagree with you. His receivers got two hands on the ball, you can't complain it's in front or behind them. They need to catch it, and they weren't hard catches to make. He's been consistently good. He's played 5 games, and had 3 300 yard passing games, and multiple games with 3 TD's. Lastly, you mentioned his stature, which is not really a thing. A player is as good as their play is, not where they were drafted, or where they rank on a depth chart. Every time the ball is in this guy's hands, he produces. This game is his "bad"game, and the Jets produced 500 yards of offense. Maybe he drops to earth a little bit, but his consistency, and play are not really in question IMO.
White got lucky he threw 2 ints but really should have been about 4-6 ints today. Lucky those defenders don't have hands
