Wish I would have watched this video before starting off. I must admit, CC2 is by far the best game I've played in the past couple years, but the lack of a good tutorial system makes it rather annoying at first. Great vid!
Most important tip with the 160mm: You can move the cursor WHILE IT SHOOTS and spread the effect over a larger area, taking out an entire convoy of vehicles.
Excellent guide for newcomers. I learned all this the hard way, each and every specific thing you mentioned in the video was spot on. The carrying of units i had to ask, i think it was on Steam forums. The Razorbill + autocannons is awesome under man control as you say. The 160mm carrier gun being the first go to of the tutorial makes a bad implication that it's a goto choice when it should be conserved, excellent mention on that. I use it pretty much only when i have a good chance of taking out groups of 3-4 units. The Manta once unlocked is my go-to for scouting given it has AWACS radar, but anything aerial with additional fuel tanks is worth deploying ahead of time, usually before leaving an island just finished. I usually try to avoid deploying fixed wing aerial units whilst far off shore as I've lost a few after they launch into a wave when the deck pitches down. Foot question.. After playing through once i wonder if there is a way to skip the intro, i'm about to play my second now an am looking for info on that.. will edit this if i find a way or a mod. Awesome, concise and well presented video, 10/10
Thanks for the feedback! Yes it's possible to skip the intro by creating a custom game. This will also disable some story stuff like the audio messages, but aside from that it plays exactly the same as a regular campaign.
You also forgot that you could click on way points and queue up Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta wait groups for timed executions of plans, or you can get one waypoint and set its altitude really high then set it as a wait group so the aircraft will circle the waypoint.
Yes, you have to place the orders and then set waypoints for the barge to pick up the items from the relevant production facilities. You can take it straight to your carrier from the production facilities.
tip 1: Download the UI Enhancement mod

May we have more Carrier Command 2. plz
Thank You very much! Very helpful!
I only have 1 questions, how do I deal against the enemy carrier when he got too many planes and naval unit
I feel giga chad for knowing about the razorbill strat just by playing the game for an hour
razorbill + dual autocannons feels like a cheap exploid. it's insanely easy to clear islands this way and enemies will barely hit you.
You should do a second season where only the AI can control the Vehicle’s or something like that
Great tips!
Thanks!
Wait, tracking mode? How do you enable tracking mode?
Any tricks on killing a CIWS? I've fired missiles and 160's, but nothing ever hits.
the new update wont let me connect resources to the warehouse in the logistics monitor, do we have to manually make waypoints for the barge now?
