Vocal Jazz Camp - National Youth Jazz Collective

The Summer Vocal Jazz Camp is a unique opportunity for young jazz vocalists, who don’t get the same level of ensemble opportunity as their instrumental peers in regional big bands, to explore jazz vocals as part of an ensemble.
Through singing in an ensemble you will learn essential skills needed for solo singing: Phrasing, paraphrasing, intonation, articulation and groove.
The 3-day vocal jazz camp is led by the inspirational award winning Pete Churchill (London Vocal Project) and will take place at Benenden School, Kent on the 9th-11th August 2024.
