Hey Bryce! A one owner GX is a gem these days. I lucked out in 2020 when I bought mine and got a one owner. It's such a blast working on this platform. Parts are cheap compared to euro vehicles and maintenance is easy. Thank for reaching out!
Did the LASFIT two years ago as well and have been perfect! Also the motorcycle NiLlight light mounts inside the fog light housing! I think that was Hawkeye Garage but brilliant and perfect! Thanks for all the great mod tips!
Yes! I love the LASFIT products as they are the perfect price point and the quality is good. Yeah, that wasnt me as the armored bumper deleted my fog lights lol.
Nice video. You've been a great resource for me. I have done 1) wheels and tires, 2) speakers and Phx head unit, and 3) wood delete. I haven't decided on the steering wheel because I love the piano wood feel . My seats aren't in poor condition so I won't be doing that any time soon. Thanks for sharing your work on your GX! Always great content, great explanations!
Yeah I'm so bummed about the seat covers too. I love mine and they are still holding up after all these years...not sure why they stopped selling them.
Yes, great memory! I ended up painting the pieces around the vents since the vinyl is challenging to wrap around and temp swings caused issues with adhesion.
Greetings, will you know how to change the internal lights to LEDs, but also the floor lights, which are also on the door handles? I think they are called court lights
I haven't considered this yet, but it's mostly because the trails I drive aren't so remote that I struggle to get to a gas station. For those going way out in remote areas camping, this would be a great modification. Do you tend to have issues reaching a gas station when out trail riding?
@@Awesomoto I plan to drive from the midwest to Alaska. When you are in the middle of nowhere you may need to run the engine to charge things at the camp site. Another thing is I like to burn gas from Costco and Sams so havving a 1000 mile or more range helps keep costs down. I have your same front bumper as yours with 35 inch tires, a steel rear bumper with 35 back tire and jerry can plus Smittybuilt roof tent with steel roof rack. This is all heavy so I am getting 12 to 16 mpg with my speedometer speed corrected. I recently found a TRD supercharger so I bought another 2uz-fe VVT engine to build. I found I could use turbo pistons from an LF4 engine bought some eagle H beam rods, porting & polishing the heads and Doug Thorley long tube headers. My compression ratio will be 11.2 to 1 with these pistons. I have a couple of piggy back computer systems to try on this setup. Hope to make 500hp but my goal is low end torque. Want to see if I can make this chariot get better MPG for more range but with the weight and wind resistancce it is hard.
Do you have the links for everything you installed? I know you said the seats are discontinued, but the steering wheel and everything else I would like to know where to get
Hey Samuria. Yes, I have links to all products in the videos where I cover each topic. I will get all links and put them in this video description as well to make it easier for future viewers.
It does slightly (maybe 1-3mph). It wasn’t enough for me to do anything about, but if it bothers you there are some people on GXOR facebook group who have instructions on modifying that circuit on the gauge cluster to correct it.
Great question Adam. The ride quality is outstanding and I found out first hand why they are a highly rated tire. They have very low road noise as well which is a big selling point for me.
Recently at my 71 years old I get my dream Buy a GX470 2007 with 155,000 miles. Its beutiful Thanks for your videos
This is amazing! Congrats on the GX and welcome to the community!

Great series! I just got my GX about a month ago and have been going full steam on building it up. Your videos helped a ton and I appreciate it!

Thank you Cody! I wouldn’t be here making this content if it weren’t for awesome positive supporters like you, so thank you! 🙏🏻
That merch store is going to run out of items quick! Another killer video!
Thanks Edgar! I’m excited to launch the store and create some unique GX merch for the community.
nice GX... love the head unit
Thank you! 🙏🏻
I gotta GX470 that I'm building up, and I really appreciate your videos bro! Thanks man!
Thank you for the feedback! It makes it worth all the effort when I read comments like this. Thank you!!
So bummed about the seat covers... I am happy you got them though!
Yeah I'm so bummed about the seat covers too. I love mine and they are still holding up after all these years...not sure why they stopped selling them.
Also. Your channel and videos are awesome
Nicely Done 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thank you ElMazeton!
You ditched the wrap on the wood for painting didn’t you? Because the wrap wasn’t adhering around the air vents.
Yes, great memory! I ended up painting the pieces around the vents since the vinyl is challenging to wrap around and temp swings caused issues with adhesion.
Love the beard!
Thanks Kaisar! I’m definitely looking haggard these days 😂

I need to look into this because I haven’t changed mine out yet. I assume there is a cover that pops off.
Have you thought of adding a 2nd 24 gallon extended range gas tank?
I haven't considered this yet, but it's mostly because the trails I drive aren't so remote that I struggle to get to a gas station. For those going way out in remote areas camping, this would be a great modification. Do you tend to have issues reaching a gas station when out trail riding?

Does that Phenix touch screen need updates?
If so how does it take updates ?

Hey dude. Exactly what wheels are these? Have a link? They're so sick.
These are the Motegi MR149 wheels with Falken WIldpeak AT3W tires. I made vlog on the topic (vlog15) to show my thought process for the dimensions.
What speakers did you replace with? That’s one of the mods I’m looking to do soon!
I did a combination of DS18s and Skar speakers, which I document in Vlog 28 and 30.
Next video - top 5 muscle building exercises that keep me looking jacked af
LMAO! Thanks Nate, I'll have to make that video soon!
does that tire size throw off the speedometer reading?
It does slightly (maybe 1-3mph). It wasn’t enough for me to do anything about, but if it bothers you there are some people on GXOR facebook group who have instructions on modifying that circuit on the gauge cluster to correct it.
What model interface did you install on your GX?
I did the Phoenix Automotive interface on the GX. Vlog 27 has the install details on it and I plan to do a future vlog as a follow up video.
hey man, will you give me the speaker info?
Check out vlog 28 for the links to the sub.
How’s the ride quality? With those tires?
Great question Adam. The ride quality is outstanding and I found out first hand why they are a highly rated tire. They have very low road noise as well which is a big selling point for me.
Do you know a reliable mechanic in Orlando I live in Maitland
Nice! You arent too far away!
I'm not sure of mechanics in Maitland, but I would search for a Toyota specialist or Off-road shop.
Do you have a lift on your rig?
I do as of this past Sunday :)
whats the mpg average? 12?
MPG is ~14 currently
