I know this feeling.... I'm one of those you can't take to these places cos I just cannot deal with thrill rides. My child's gotten me onto some rides and I was internally screaming and begging for my life, but didn't wanna be a 30yr old mother doing that shit in front of other parents hahaha. The few times I was undone was a Ferris wheel and one of those sky car gondolas. The wheel, my ex got me on it and it was a bit windy... We got to the top and I was on the floor with the other lady who got in with us, crying, holding her hand and making promises to each other to not let go, the gondala thing I didn't realize that the floor was like a platform. So all the edges and under the seats uncovered and my brain couldn't cope especially as it was at the zoo and going over some animals I'd really like to NOT have some 1v1 time with.
These things are horrible. Especially when the screws are all bumpy so it hurts really bad. Also you go EXTREMELY fast. One time when i went down one of these, a couple minutes later a fully grown adult, he was probably 20 or 30. He went down and at the bottom, he said to his friend he was never doing that again. I feel him.

I used to be a lifeguard for a water park and whenever I would send people down slides I would send them down, make sure they couldn’t get back up or stop, and scream “No No No No don’t go!” And it was probably one of the best things I did at that job, people in line laughed too.

For those of you who are curious, the slide hurts your heels, butt, shoulder blades, and the back of the head when going over the seams of the slide at those speeds. It’s important you keep your legs crossed and head back, or else you you will get a jet stream of water to the face and in places you don’t want it.

Afterwards I checked her at their first aid station due to bleeding because this water park had hired two incompetent men to work it. I used to be a lifeguard for a water park and whenever I would send people down slides I would send them down, make sure they couldn’t get back up or stop, and scream “No No No No don’t go!” And it was probably one of the best things I did at that job, people in line laughed too.

For those of you who are curious, the slide hurts your heels, butt, shoulder blades, and the back of the head when going over the seams of the slide at those speeds. It’s important you keep your legs crossed and head back, or else you you will get a jet stream of water to the face and in places you don’t want it.

I did that and got like a third degree burn or smth on my back.

We went straight to the hospital and she was having emergency surgery within an hour, at 9pm!
