I've only read about it on forums and on Facebook. Some people have theirs come off the very first drive. I suspect it's whenever anything contacts the driveshafts, like crawling on big rocks. I decided to do this fix so I don't have to worry about it.
(I put white PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE OVER THE DRIVE SHAFT AND RUBBER RING. )SO WHAT CAUSES THEM TO FALL OUT. IM JUST GOING TO USE MY TRX 4M for trailing with a little crawling at times. Also I Have Thread lock glue would that work.
Just one drip of silicone caulk on each o-ring and wa- la problem solved
That's a good solution, too.
Shrink tubing is easier!!!
Sure it is. This is just a way to fix it if you don't have any or don't want to take the driveshafts off.
Nice. You should trademark this as the “fly tying” method of driveshaft repair.
"Now, this here is my pin-capture knot..."
How about just fill that gap with shoo goo or some type of caulking
That might work, as well! Even easier than my method, just let it dry overnight.

Put a shrink tube over, done.
I haven’t had any problems with mine (knock on wood😂) when is this happening? I play with mine only inside

you can just use electronic heat shrink tubing, it’s way easier….

I think they get caught on things or dry out and crack.
