This interview was incredible. I cried a little bit when he talked about how his mom held him down and kept him encouraged. This man is so blessed bc he comes from a loving family, puts his ppl on, treats everyone as his equal, plans & builds. I will forever support Spitta. 🤙🏾
Cameron Smith Waddup fam?!? Nah no Rugby’s yet bc I decided to support black businesses one of which I found on this channel- got some ts and hoodies from here instagram.com/wrldinvsn/
12:55 "Halfway to the top, went to sleep woke up at the bottom. They turned off my lights, I lit candles and I plotted. Got it before, getting it again shouldn't be a problem...." Spitta always dropping pure inspiration. #JetLife
Dope interview brah. Spitta one of the realest to ever do it. I remember hearing Nip talk about how he looked up to Spitta and Wiz cuz they changed the blueprint for the whole industry. Give this man his flowers while he here. #JetLife til da
This is easily my favorite Curren$y interview. The way it's shot (simple/gritty), the music, the game, his mom and pops is there, homies there, at his own shop, cars in the back. Everything about this is Spitta and its perfect.
This ain't no mixtape was the album that put me on him....... I can still remember the first time I listened to that album, I had to replay each song multiple times because they were so good... after that, the legendary PT series, all those mixtapes coming... I remember the year he dropped a tape every month, when it was December, I was like no way this nigga will do it... and the next day I woke up to 12/30 already dropped... crazy shit. Things only lifers understand. One day I will fly to NO (coming from Europe) and I will thank him for all these years and memories.
Saw the short preview on Instagram and I just had to look up this interview and I'm glad I did. I felt it when he mentioned the lights being shut. I used to go threw that and at times had no food in the fridge. So it was very hard and hurtful back then to scramble up some change just to go buy a bag of chips and a soda for dinner. I'm grateful for the struggle because it taught me how to stay strong and and hustle. It doesn't matter if you go to sell all of your recyclables just to pay the light bill. Because a hustle is a hustle and it's either in you or it's not 🙏🏽
It's refreshing to see two melanated males talk about positive things bringing positivity back the to people in the inner city and on the outskirts, much love
"mu fuckas don't know how to deal with it and they break under it and you don't know how close you was to getting your paper" im not a rapper but I have a 9 to 5 and my i have my own business on the side.... I been a Curren$y since the no limit days and I tripped up on this video he don't know how much I needed to hear this today. #respect
i don’t know but for some reason this comment gave me chills, i pray to God 2020 has somethin in store for you so u can ditch ya 9-5 and no longer need to rely on it. great things ahead keep mashin! *curren$y voice*
What other ones are nice like this? Outside this and the Tidal one, I've given up on others cause it was fucks who didn't even do research and had no idea what they were talking about
All it takes is strength, discipline, and a little faith to breakthrough. Like Spitta said, you quit right when it was going to happen for you. Don't give up!🙏🏽
This interview helped my life. SPitta has timeless music that helped mold me as a young black man. He knows about the universe too. I spoke into existence the opportunity to collaborate with him in music some day. Love this interview.
I love Spitta honesty, thats what got him this far,he is wise and not afraid to say whats real when it comes to this game, perfect role model,so humble tho 💯💯💯
The old school music in the back really does something for this interview. Curren$y really said everything I say to myself as a musician coming up, real motivational. Much love to you for this interview man, I just subbed. You got my support. Love from Baltimore MD. Corey L.
i think a lot of rappers are starting to finally realize its a better investment, "although risky" to build up your hometown then going to hollywood. outside of hiphop prince is one of the most legendary artist who never left his home state in minnesota. in curren$y position its a little more risky in hiohop, but he probably knows where to go and not to go, and when to dip in and dip out. as much as its good to help your people there are still a lot of snakes in the innercity who envy you who want to take you down.
@@kharystewart9084 you gotta remember Snoop dogg was signed to No limit Records so there's some mural respect with Snoop, Daz & Currensy & Currensy was on No limit Records as well later on.
