Tech Talk: Advance Adapters

Today we are in Paso Robles, California visiting the Advance Adapters Shop. We get a great tour inside their facilities and show you an in depth look at a great American made product for your Jeep.

I work in engineering and QC for a company in western Colorado that makes drilling equipment for the mining and construction industries. It's remarkable how similar the materials, machinery, and operations are.
I can tell you right now that these guys are doing it right. Top-notch manufacturing on display in this video.
My 1986 CJ-7 with a SBC swap is sporting an Advance adapter between the Chevy transmission and Dana 300. It was assembled around 25 years ago and it's still going strong.

I had no idea Advanced Adapters made anything other than the Atlas. Very informative video. Steve seems like a great guy. Make more videos like this one Tony.

That factory floor is 100% clean and organized. Just one more example of the AA commitment to quality. I've walked quite a few aerospace machine shops that could learn some things from AA. Thank you for the tour!

This answered a lot of questions, thanks! So…when can I get an Atlas for my 2021 392? It’s got the weird t-case without 2hi and a 2:72 ratio

I just ordered an atlas 4 speed a couple days ago, it's a 22 week wait which is going to severely delay my build I was hoping for a little shorter wait time because I'll have everything else in a couple months but I'm really excited, the atlas 4 speed will completely transform the jeep.
