Towards the end I choked up with emotion and eyes filled with tears listening to such beautiful and fulfilling music..I would have stood up clapping with excitement had I been there, but these people in the audience..they look anesthetic!

If it’s any consolation, the tradition when attending classical concerts is not to applaud until the end of the act, in respect to the music as a whole - there were still a few pieces yet to come, but I’m sure the applause was raucous when the performance was over!
I'm going to be playing this on my trumpet tomorrow (obviously an easier version 😂) - one of my first concerts! So excited for this, thank you so much for inspiring me- this has given me a lot of courage for tomorrow!❤

Sounds as though I were there. Gives me shivers, the acoustics are fantastic. The tempo and rhythm are perfect, rarly heard, commonly rushed. The double bass fiddle is excellent, watermelon for the soul. (Better than the Orchestra for the Bolshoi!).

macroevolve --have watched the Ballet Corp from the wings many times.The flow of the costumes and the choreography, Balanchine, always made me weep.
I think the version with the Berliner Philharmoniker and conductor Daniel Barenboim is better.
