- This video was requested to be done by TAUN170. This video is a walkthrough of the Disney demo 2 disc distrubuted in 1998 by Nestlé cereals. It was a free disc that came with the cereal and after 13 years, a walkthrough of the disc is finally done. This comes with demos of video games such as Hercules and music, these features are quite lengthy so I will soon upload gameplay of the demos and music from the cd.

I cannot explain the level of nostalgia that just erupted in my brain right down to the noises the book closing made at the very end!
I had three Disney cds, red, green, and purple... So many memories :,)
I had Red, Green and Purple back in my time too!
I can't even explain how much I loved these as a kid
I've almost shed a tear of nostalgia
Childhood !!!! I remember collecting all 3 and getting the simpsons magnets, and the treasure planet demon too
Thanks so much for uploading this video , when I got my first pc in 1998 i got this CD in a box of coco pops , oh the memories 😇 thanks again
i still have it and i still remember every scene of it! :D
Wow, I remember having one of these disc's back in 2000 on my old Tiny Computers Pentium III PC with Windows 98SE. Long since lost it, having moved house twice since then (think I also remember it being badly scratched, but just about readable).
I have found the red one in my old bookshelves.
Thanks for reminding me XD
Do you still have it?
Holy shit I used to love these! :3
OMG, THE MEMORIES.
Apparently your disc is a bit diffferent from mine. Mine has different songs and games and has a green theme instead of red.
But thank you for taking the time to make this! You revived my childhood for a moment.
There was more than 1
@TAUN170 Yeah, there are 2 other different discs (Demo 1 and Demo 3). This is, Demo 2.
Omg I remember this!
8:33 I kept hearing this techno music in my head back in 1999, until I hear it again on RUclips, what is the name of this techno music been used on PlayStation 1 promo?
Not sure, I would have guessed it was a custom soundtrack for this advert. Drum and bass type rhythm...
Urban Extreme - Universal Production Music :)
Hurraaaaay!
I've always wondered what the other two Disney Demos contained.… Here, it looks as if it's pretty much the same as the "Disney Demo 1" I've had for about 15 years, except for a change in colour. If only I could find the other two demo discs here in the UK, I'd be able to see for myself. No-one seems to have them on Amazon or eBay anymore.
Quite a mystery indeed, never really expected how rare they would become.
I remember this so well... i think i only have this one and the 3rd... but i don't know where they are ^^;
This was my shit as a child!
So, almost a year has passed. Have you found it yet? Been waiting
I have 3 of these discs
Can anyone get me the link of this game?
What about the full version? Does anyone have it?
The link I had for one of thise discs were on Megaupload, and, well, you probably know what happened to that. However, I will make an effort to find ISO's for those discs - then I will send you a download link.
It's been six years of waiting and I'm wondering if you'd still have it. If so, could you mega the iso of it
Your patience is so admirable, you forced me to actually pull open my drawer of ancient CDs and see if I could help!
I have good news, I found the physical CD! It is, as I remarked in the past years, a red (burgundy) CD. It's awfully beaten up though, so I'm going to see if I can find a computer with a CD drive and actually read it for ripping. I'll get back to you in a bit.
Okay, I just made the discovery that I don't actually own a CD drive. I do have *an* (old) CD drive, but can't find any spare SATA cables to make use of it.
I could physically post you the disc, if you're fully capable of ripping it, though there'd be no use if it turns out the disc is totally borked.
fine by me
I have good news, I found an ISO file in the depths of an old hard drive. Hopefully this is the correct image, I haven't checked it. mega.nz/#!4BxD2SSD!4I5NojeK6O4spdzKCHxPPu_m18SybMw5A48yN9hefIk
It actually is the right file. Thank you very much for this!
This reminds me too much of the sampler that is included in the install disc of Windows 98
@derick1259 Sad. But i will find it again someday.
I found the red disk on ebay (it was in Italian unfortunately) and it's pretty much the same as this except I think with different videos and music in some places and 2 demos, I think the green one would be alike.
The green one had demos of Magic Artist and Mulan Print Studio. Does that match what you saw on the red disc?
No, the red disc has Hercules Print Studio and Action Game demos.
I actually love Mulan Print Studio for some reason, it's also one of the very few things I can use on my Windows 7 computer, nothing else will play because of the windows version. I'm considering downloading Virtual Box or some similar program to use if I could figure out how.
So that must mean every Disney Demo has different playable demos on each disc… Fascinating.
Yeah, but like I said, you need a computer that can run them. Derick seems to be using some kind of virtual machine for doing so, that may be your only hope.
LOL, tell me about it. Most of Disney's old games refuse to run on Windows 7 64-bit (Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, etc.), but weirdly, others like Disney Demo 1 work just fine. I'd try VirtualBox on the rest, but it might not run them as perfectly as native hardware would.
Did you use the virtual box, then downloaded from a website the iso containing DIsney Demo 2?
I used a virtual box, but I had the physical copy of Disney Demo 2 and loaded it via my CD drive. I can't remember if I ripped the ISO though.
13:28 Wrong music in the trailer for Mighty Joe Young
I was able to buy the purple disk on Ebay, but there's absolutely no sign of the red or green disks. Shame too, I wish I could find them, or at least ISO's of them. I remember on one of them there was a bunch of video and playable demos for lots of Disney interactive games.
+dxfan18 Quite extraordinary how rare they've become, for something that was very widely distributed. I'm not even sure where I put the disk I used for this video.
How much did you pay for the purple disc?
@@JOXCY I can't remember, it was years ago
@@dxfan18 well would you ever part with it?
@@JOXCY if I still have it, sure, but I'm not sure where it is
oh the memories. i remember when i was young and one day, i got the frosted shredies with either demo 1 or 3. it did have that mickey mouse drawing center demo. but anyway, can you pm me link please?
@TAUN170 Do you own those?
Did you collect all 3? i was able to.
Apart from A Bug's Life, what kind of Playstation games are these?
Good question. I also recognize Tomb Raider, but that's about it.
Say how are you abled to log into windows 98?
When I made this video, I was using "Microsoft Virtual PC 2007", software where you can run a computer on your computer. As far as I can tell is discontinued. Nowadays I suppose I'd recommend Oracle VirtualBox? Just load it with a Windows 98 ISO and you're probably good to go. Gee, it used to properly be a hobby of mine surfing operating systems - all the early Windows versions, etc.
@TAUN170 :O Where?! And yes, PM me with a link.
@TAUN170 No, I don't.
Hello, do you have the download link to this? Thanks
This is the ISO I share with someone here a few years ago mega.nz/file/4BxD2SSD#4I5NojeK6O4spdzKCHxPPu_m18SybMw5A48yN9hefIk
@@derick1259 thank you. I bought the purple one on ebay when it comes ill share the iso :)
@@tombafan Very nice.
@@derick1259 i have the iso dont have place to save it if you can suggest? My mega is full...
@@tombafan Have a look at catbox.moe
Was that Simon Mayo doing the voiceover?
Was it? Never occurred to me, only know him through Mark Kermode...
Why the hell you didn't play the trombone? It used to be funny :D
adrianzu14 Ah, I think it toggles the voume? As far as I remember? It's been a long while since I've played with this disc, should've clicked on it.
fix right now
