On "Smallville", John plays Clark Kent's dad. In one episode, John ( as Jonathan Kent) was driving his pickup... guess what song was playing on his radio? 😁👍
A childhood memory like NO OTHER! Friday nights...In front of the floor console TV...Drinking ice cold pepsi from the glass bottle..eating Godfathers pizza! A childhood memory I love I had🙏😘
Love your comment when this Dukes of Hazzard t.v show first aired in 1979 i was 11 years old and was hooked ever since the very first show i was nuts over Daisy Duke because those short shorts said it all!!! The thyme song was oh so dam good and Rosco's famouse line oh you dip stick always stuck with me. I always ate stove top popcorn and ice cold cream soda. I even miss our old wooden t.v on 4 wooden legs with top of the line built in sterio sound system made by RCA. Oh God i miss those good old days, and Daisy Dukes short shorts sure put me in heaven!!!!! WOW what a show that was and my second favourite tv show would have to be C.H.I.P.S!!!!!🤪🤪🤪👍👍
The best memories were watching Dukes of Hazard as family time on living room floor furniture TV. I'm not gonna front after episode I was locked in the bathroom doing the hand jive until pop goes the wewe. Daisy Duke did alot more to me then the law will allow. But it was our little secret in the bathroom. My Dad may he RIP use to tell me that was 1long ass piss. I always felt like he knew what I was doing. The guilt of me vs Dad knows👉 I slipped up one time and said what you talking about Willis. Then you had a rumor in my culture. That if I kept beating my meat to Daisy Duke I was gonna grow hair on palm of waking ✋hand. So I kind of switched to I dream of Jeannie. In my head I was chilling with Jeannie in that bottle instead of being in school everyday of the week. Who else gonna keep it real and say that's my story to. Come on now
I had the fortune to meet John Schneider at Laguna Seca Raceway (Monterey County, CA) back in the late 80s while working as a sheriff explorer cadet. He drove up to a controlled intersection in a classic car (a Shelby Cobra, if I recall correctly) and was extremely friendly and down-to-earth. We were not allowed to ask celebrities for their autograph, but on his return, he stopped, talked to us, and offered his autograph before leaving. I preserve it to this day. I only wish cell phones had been around then to take a photograph. He's a good man!
I watched the video of John Schneider, Tom Wopat, and Catherine Bach performing the theme song from "The Dukes of Hazzard"......it looks like they were having a ball!!! I enjoyed watching that show on TV.........I would like to see it stay on TV cause it was good clean family entertainment. Need more shows like that these days!!!
That's right.there wasn't no cussin or racism even though people may think the battle flag on the cars roof is racist. Also i was raised on dukes before it got cancelled cause people were offended by the rebel flag. But trumps bringing back our history
Went to a concert in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I believe in early 80's. It was John Schneider and Alabama. Great concert and got John's autograph and picture for my daughters. He was a real friendly kind of guy.
Great video What a fun performance that included all three "cousins" John and Tom are great singers and Daisy did a good job too Very Fun Wonderful to see them together on a stage Thanks for posting this to share really enjoyed it
Dukes of Hazzard was the best tv show ever made. I wanted to be just like Bo Duke. I still watch the show everytime I see it on somewhere. Never gets old. I wish I could of met Denver Pyle in person before he passed. America!
John brought the Road Runner to Worlds Of Fun in Kansas City and I took it for a spin and John said that I and the car were made for each other. Sweetest car I've ever driven! John was a real hoot and I gave him my very expensive watch as a friend gift... and for driving the car. I hope that he still has the watch.
Jim D Hi Jim...Catherine Bach is still a cute woman and she has the role of Daisy Duke all to her self. But god bless her because her husband killed himself and now she is raising (like millions of other women) two daughters by herself.
My favorite tv show. Every Friday night we had popcorn and Pepsi and watched this along with Dallas with my mom until my dad got home. It was our family time with her. Treasured memories I will never forget.
This show inspired me in more ways than I could possibly post in a YT comment. As much as any 80s kid could thank Mr. Spielberg, Mr. Lucas, & all their ilk, I sincerely thank you for making growing up in the 80s a fine adventure. Yeeeeee-hawwwww!!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting John Schneider in Cleveland at the Auto Show a while back right by the old General Lee. John is better looking in person and a true gentleman.
As Waylon would say….”boys y’all done me proud!”. It’s so hard these days to view artists who are so down to earth as these three performers are. Thank you for the memories.n
What a great version of this song, it is great that Tom and Catherine were part of this song. John recorded this song again in 2018 but missing Tom and Catherine, it sounded good, but it was missing the rest of the cast of the tv show
I don't know about those little kids but I would have been in heaven if I would have seen those three walk up to my car like that I remember in the barn playing with that car for hours there was nothing racist about the show that's the reality we live in today somebody gets butt hurt..
Pappies pizza every Friday night then the dukes and later night rider.:) Best time ever. We still talk about it and I turn 50 this year, was 6 yrs to 12 and loved every moment!:)
Just good old boys and cousin Daisy makes three. I know my momma loves me . But she can't understand why they keep showing my hands and not my face on tv. Well done. That's back when tv was worth watching.
Thank you for all the great childhood memories ...I had posters all over my bedroom of all of you ....Daisy , you had the biggest poster in my room ....God I was in love with her ! What a show !! Thanks again ...
I love that song I wish good dreams to the people who played the dukes of Hazzard and to the man who first played that song and his family may God bless all of you
OMG! one of my most favorite shows... Getting a plate of whatever Momma made for dinner sitting down in front of the old barely "color" TV console and a giant glass of sweet tea.... Oh the memories lol..... I learned how to drive from them Ol' Duke Boys lol had a short stent as amateur stock race car driver with only a few speeding tickets lol and somehow still managed to raise 3 great kids with wholesome values, even though there was a hint of illegal stuff every where in the show lol, but 1 of my boys is even a police officer lol he told the driving instructor at post that his Momma was the best teacher lol and was pulled aside later and told to tell me I did a great job 😁 and then at his graduation from post his Sargent came over to shake my hand lol 😉 so I've got 1 that's a chemical engineer and 1 that's a 82nd Airborne/cop/82nd Airborne reserves and cop now, was active prior to then went to post, graduated then was on the job for about a year then got called back in to do some "logistics"??? When his job was jumping out of planes and special weapons....right? 😜 and he just barely made it out of AF about a week before the former vp screwed our, including all the extras that fought along side our people, over there and then my baby girl, that can strip down a diesel engine and put it back in perfect running order in no time flat! So Good Quality programming had a big part in that oh and I just found out that my youngest son, that just celebrated his 5th wedding anniversary, is making me a grandma for the 1st time ever and all 3 are married and seem to be happy and are just.... "Making their way...the only way they know how. Maybe drivin' little faster than the law would allow.... Lol Great show great cast!
I'm in my 40s now and I still Live the repeats on CMT . Good videos loved it I give it a 1,000 out of 10 . Oh wait that's more then ten oh well still the same. I'd like to see a Dukes of Hazard reunion even thou Boss & Uncle Jesse have passed
I can see uncle Jesse looking from above pointing his finger at you boys. " You better behave well or else you! Ya heard me?!" This brings me back 😄 I never knew they made this video, anyway it's good to see the gang back again.
The Duke family with a tasteful tribute to the man that narrated their every movement for six years. I wish I could give this 3 likes, one for each Duke. 😀😀😀
Catherine Bach just keeps getting hotter.
She's amazing, alright!
@@Freawulfi agree...👍😉
The car horn is the perfect way to end the video too…

@@stevearmstrong4561 Amen to that memory and we could use some good ones now.

love how these guys are good friends in real life, all these years later
Waylon's last lines to this song. I know my Momma loves me. But she don't understand why they keep showing my hands and not my face on TV. Ha Ha.

Awesome
I think you mean, 'He's a Good Ol Boi!'
video is 10 years old and Id still be here to see a TV movie bringing the Dukes back for one last save Hazzard County...
Love the show. I don't care about the haters. And I'm a Yankee. I'm too tough to be offended.

How can a theme tune make an old guy cry xx ❤
❤
These 3 could totally make that show work again....
I so agree!!!
they so could
with another spinoff? It'd probably be their kids this time
I'm a screenwriter with another reunion movie in memory of Rosco planned
If someone is gonna play roscoe use Larry the cable guy he has the comedy for it not the guy who played roscoe in the 2005 movie
Those three, always had a great chemistry. I love that show.
That whole cast was great.
This is so beautiful. I LOVE THE DUKES OF HAZZARD!! REST IN PEACE WAYLON, BOSS, ROSCOE, UNCLE JESSE!!
❤ 😭
Don't forget flash!
John was on an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger. He was a firefighter who was shot
Gave me CHILLS!!!! I'm so glad I grew up when I did & got to enjoy the Dukes!
❤
Me and brother used to dance about daft to this as the show was starting
Shows back then were genuine, fun and filled with moral values! Miss that era!
Dukes of Hazzard was the best tv show ever made. I wanted to be just like Bo Duke. I still watch the show everytime I see it on somewhere. Never gets old. I wish I could of met Denver Pyle in person before he passed. America!
Kathryn no matter what size she is a beautiful woman.

MrPhil0267 Holy crap that sucks!!! Prayers for her.
She could be 100 years old and I would still hit it just to be able to say I nailed Daisy Duke.
Jim D Amen!
How can a song so soft sounding & calm make you wanna gun your car on the highway
"Didn't you notice there was jeep there too" still very protective of her character
I liked her car better
Watched it when it first came I was only 9 this video brings out the nostalgia and feels.
My favorite tv show. Every Friday night we had popcorn and Pepsi and watched this along with Dallas with my mom until my dad got home. It was our family time with her. Treasured memories I will never forget.
One of the greatest shows of all time in my opinion

In the TV series Smallville Mysteries. There's an episode where Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) drives a Dodge Charger car comes for Tom Vopata
Unlike Many, Tom Wopat always warmed my heart,
I had the pleasure of meeting John Schneider in Cleveland at the Auto Show a while back right by the old General Lee. John is better looking in person and a true gentleman.
MY CHILD HOOD LOVED WATCHING THIS TV SHOW GREAT MEMORIES
One of the BEST SHOWS in the 80s 👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆🏆😃😃😃😃

What a great version of this song, it is great that Tom and Catherine were part of this song. John recorded this song again in 2018 but missing Tom and Catherine, it sounded good, but it was missing the rest of the cast of the tv show
Throwback from when people could be proud to be a southerner.
We're proud here in Charleston.
Still a great song as it was back then as it is today 1979 to 1985 and now 2025 happy new year everyone

Thank you for all the great childhood memories ...I had posters all over my bedroom of all of you ....Daisy , you had the biggest poster in my room ....God I was in love with her ! What a show !! Thanks again ...
They should record and tour together as "The Duke Boys"!
Or The Dukes... if they took Bach along. I'd have to go to that just for the ticket stub!
I'd go see that!
They did back in late 80's.
Love it !!!!❤️❤️❤️
This song never gets old!
It's total Bullshit they took the reruns off tv this year... Love Bo, Luke, Daisy, Cooter, Uncle Jessie, Boss Hogg, Enis
They didnt take them off cmt
That's beast. Thank you CMT!
John Schneider said in an interview that The Dukes WILL come back. Warner Bros. is loosing millions from not airing them Good Ol Boys.
Are you Anus? Dukes Of Hazzard reference from the movie that had Johnny Knoxville in it...

My favorite by Waylon and all three did him proud ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had a model of the General Lee and I played with it until the wheels fell off.
Hell 2021 needs a new dukes of hazzard
Awesome to see the 3 of them together for this great song
Love that song you guys made it happen without you guys there won’t be a dukes of hazard
It would be awesome seeing them driving down the road together in a General Lee
Still miss Waylon every day. 💜💛
Best show EVER! Bring it back
That is fun!! Thank you Dukes. Lookin Good Cathy!! 😘
i've been waiting almost forty years to hear that. it was worth every day!!! thank you from a numer one fan. that was awesome.

The Dukes of Hazzard, still one of the greatest TV shows ever made!
This is awesome! Memories of the Dukes cmon!
Nice job. You did the song justice.
Great singer Jonathan Kent
John Schneider is my list. I’ve loved him since I was 7.
The Duke family with a tasteful tribute to the man that narrated their every movement for six years. I personally think these three should be two-time vocal event of the year winners, because of this collaboration, and their 1980 collaboration with Loretta Lynn, Sorrell Booke, Sonny Shroyer, Ben Jones, and Denver Pyle for the song "Y'all Come."
P. S., I think it would've been nice if James Best, Ben Jones, Sonny schroyer, and Rick Hurst could've joined them for this video.
all 3 of them look great for their age. listening to this reminds me of being a child and watching them at tea time on a Saturday night on BBC1.
La hermosa Katherine
I got to meet Daisy at a benefit she didn’t have much time to talk to anybody A little struck on her self
Catherine Bach has a beautiful voice as well. Surprised as I didn't realize she could sang.
Awesome job also a great tribute to Waylon Jennings!!
This is great. . . It does Waylon justice. . .
❤ 💯% perfect loving tribute 4for Waylon !!! He would be sooo proud watching this !!!!!!!!!!
Hearing this song makes me want to move down to Covington. What fun!
