My sister passed away unexpectedly 4 days ago. This was our song in the early 2000's as we were entering adulthood. This takes me to a place of carefree days, knowing the world was ours and we had a lifetime ahead. Life passed us quickly, separate paths we journeyed down, probably thinking there is plenty of time left for us to get together, to catch up, reminisce ...but there was not plenty of time left. I learned that May 24, 2020 at 10:29pm. I'll meet you again one day in the Castles in the Sky.

Why do people create the fantasy of heaven or the “Castles in the Sky”. I put that together at 9 while playing DDR lol
I'm 55 years of age in a couple of months. I discovered trance and Ibiza dance music when the film Kevin and Perry go Large came out. My wife and I absolutely love it and spend most Friday evenings listening to Clubland TV. Made a few trips to Ibiza but haven't had the courage to go to a big club at our age. Not all oldies are square!!!!! This tune is one of our favourites 😍

People go for the music and dance no one judges age! I went to a night at Sankeys in 2017 called ‘ a clock work orange’ and the average age was like 40-55! Don’t be shy!!!!

Life is difficult and complicated. I'm sure everybody goes through the same crap in one way or another and I completely understand that I'm not unique. It just gets tiring having to battle through most days and continue searching for a purpose to carry on besides doing it for others around you. It would be a lot easier to just end it and put an end to all the regrets and misery but there are other people who's lives it would effect. Plus the few times when you do experience happiness are incredible. Don't ever give up and try not to ever look back and wonder 'what if' because as cliche as it sounds we really can't change the past but we can shape the future. Life is difficult and complicated. I'm sure everybody goes through the same crap in one way or another and I completely understand that I'm not unique. It just gets tiring having to battle through most days and continue searching for a purpose to carry on besides doing it for others around you. It would be a lot easier to just end it and put an end to all the regrets and misery but there are other people who's lives it would effect. Plus the few times when you do experience happiness are incredible.
Don't ever give up and try not to ever look back and wonder 'what if' because as cliche as it sounds we really can't change the past but we can shape the future.

What a song... I wasn't old enough to be out clubbing when this came out, but definitely old enough to have heard it. Reminds me of simpler times. The world was at its peak, in that technology was good enough that it helped in day to day life but there wasn't such an unhealthy attachment to it. Social media wasn't a thing and nobody had a smartphone in their pocket at all times.
This was the first song I heard in the new millennium. I was stationed with the USAF on the island of Terciera in the Azores and they were having this big open air celebration with fireworks on a pier. Techno/House always takes me back to my 20s.
