This is one of our family favourites and the kids love it: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the Brie cheese in an ovenproof dish. Melt butter, add little pieces of garlic to it. Cut in the cheese a little on the top and spread the garlic butter all over it. Season it with pepper (if you have smoked one even better), place it in the oven and bake it for 8-10 minutes. Garnish with some rosmary, thyme, oregano, ....really, whatever you like. Serve with a few slices of toasted bread and enjoy the soft, warm cheese.
Brie has an edible rind on it. Some people don't like it . I do . Wrapped in puff pastry and baked and it gets gooy and a little bit of honey and some walnuts on it when it comes out of the oven yum 😋
Right I looked it up and 2-5 years old: At least 250 grams of carbohydrates per day 6-9 years old: At least 350 grams of carbohydrates per day 10 years or older: At least 400 grams of carbohydrates per day Total caloric intake: Carbohydrates should make up 45-65% of a child's total daily calorie
When we were recovering from our accident 30 years ago and we didn’t have enough money to make ends meet or enough food stamps we only had one food pantry in town at the time and we were only allowed to go once every 3 months so it wasn’t a help each month for us. I will say that every time we needed money for something extra God provided it plus we had family and friends(some from Church) that helped buy us groceries. Our son also was able to walk to the school for the summer lunch program so that helped also.
Hi🌿With the herbs you can make herbal salt. Divide the herb into two parts and add lemon zest in one part and orange zest in one part. It's so good to spice with. The lemon herb salt I use for fish and chicken. 🐟🍗The orange herb salt for meat.🥩 When you have mixed everything, put it in a baking dish and dry in the oven 120 °F, leave the door slightly open, it does not take that long, if you have dried the herbs first. Mix in the salt before drying. You can also squeeze some of the juice over but then it takes longer to dry but it will be good. Take care🥰🍂🌻🍁
I did brie bites. Basically puff pastry then chuck on brie and topped with cranberry sauce and pecans and bake in oven. I think I baked pastry first then put back in oven with other stuff.
Brie is a lot like cammenbert, which is often found in turkey wraps. Try it ar room temp with nuts, dried fruits, cured meats etc, otherwise it can be baked as suggested
Baked brie wrapped in puff pastry with nuts and fruit jam with bread is delicious. Apples and brie delicious. Brie is delicious with fruit and toast. Ham and brie is delicious
I personally don't like brie rind so o cut it off and bake the center until gooey urn it's a great dip for apples or pears and veg. It's also great on most warmed sandwiches
Maybe I'm going wrong, I have 1 wage in house, a 20 year old vehicle, need a new roof and bathroom, don't eat takeout or visit a restaurant and I save and go without. Didn't think to use a food bank to pay for a vehicle and living expenses.
Anything helps when feeding your family amen 🙏

100 carbs a day for children is really low. I get that you eat low carb across the board but the kids should be ok. 😊

With the brie slice into triangles and eat it like that it is great like that
You can bake and have things to dip into it. So I think that someone is p and growing belly. They still enjoy the baby food even as oldies and teens.
the bri would be great sliced thin and melted on your sliders.
❤❤❤❤
A toddlers calories is about 800/900 daily. Teens get more than 2,000+ daily as they spend more energy that adults.

Brie is good if you wrap it in puff pastry and bake slice and serve
How was the blueberry oat bread i've never seen anything like this before
We all took a bite of a slice before I put it in the freezer. It was a little dry but had a good, mild blueberry flavor.

Huh. I've never seen or heard of that.

If you need help with food then visit the food pantry. There is no shame in going. She is keeping her family fed and healthy.
