I’m really glad I recommended the X7 Phenom to someone as a first marker before it was discontinued. The thing works great, you didn’t need to buy a loader, and it’s still consistent as hell
X7 Phenom is a tank that never breaks down and shoots great. I don't know why they stopped making it. I also don't know why Tippman didn't make a magfed version of that platform.
Kevin Shirey go look up the Hurricane conversion. It’s pretty affordable and from my experience it’s pretty decent. I got my kit with the conversion and 6 mags for about $150. Then I just recently got the extended mag release and lok bolt.
Kevin Shirey that’s totally understandable. But, like I said, mine has been pretty good. I feel like with the conversion kits there really isn’t that much for them to screw up. It’s just the two body shell pieces and a mag well. The 468 is a different story all together. Ive heard plenty of bad things about those. Also, the Helix mags are considerably better than the old DMags. Not the easiest things to clean, but they aren’t too terrible.

I really think the spyder fenix 2012 should be brought back: yeah it’s an entry level speedball gun that “couldn’t stand up to the rest of them” which is actually entirely inaccurate. The reason kingman spyder stopped with the fenix 2012s is that they were basically like how the oculus quest 2 is now being sold for a loss. I mean think about it for a second: tournament board glass eyes adjustable trigger and a polycarbonate body and eco filters all while boasting a 25+BPS markers like that at the time were sold for 400+ USD and the fenix was sold for 160$ it was a gamble to get more kids playing and it only sorta worked. Hosting a tournament where you could win a lease on a hummer H2 isn’t exactly a smart move. Now: if it was “win a fully paid for hummer H2” then I think the fenix would rise again.
Empire Traccer. They perfected the PMI trracer with a autococker threaded breach, 90 degree elbow that swung open and you could breech load first strike rounds.
