  • The 2nd time I've done springboard. This one was pretty much better than my first attempt in May in every way shape, and form. I'm extremely happy with how it went for my 2nd time up there, especially with the blistering heat and humidity we've had this summer.
I cut 2 and a half minutes off my springboard time. Still not enough to try and take on the big timers but for my 2nd time up that's insanely good.
I MASSIVELY improved my pocket chop
The butcher block up top took a bit longer but I didn't want to die in 90 degree heat and humidity.
I all around knew what I was doing much more.
Once again thanks to Ben Marshall and those around who help me learn as I go.
Everyone has to start somewhere, and doing something for the first time can be a lot, but I assure you its well worth it, no matter how unskilled or stupid you look the first time. It will only get better from here. It'll be fun going back and watching this video 5, 10, or even 20 years from now and seeing how much I improved compared to my very first time.
My name is Spencer McKinnon and I am currently a semi professional lumberjack and Timbersports competitor. I post videos of different lumberjack events from various competitions I've competed in, which are based around old time logging traditions, but now however are done for sport.
