    I recommend dancing or singing really loud at least once a day, or learn an instrument. All are great for your brain and reduce stress. Stress is as unhealthy as junk food!

      yeah, i do a dance workout video every day and it's so fun. It's really great though because I don't feel like I'm excercising while doing it and it's so much fun I'm always in a better mood when I'm done.

      water is water, they dont take the h20 out of it. your body will still abosorb it just the same as it would normally, just less of it.

      QuarterlifeCry6 it may be water but it's not wholesome healthy water like drinking plain water and doesn't keep you hydrated. It is mixed with sugar and processed ingredients and isn't the same a drinking straight water with lemon and blueberries.

    I actually know all these things but it's really hard for me to do them and it's simply that anxiety of going through that transition so it's really nice to see and hear it from someone who already does it and knows how rewarding it is. Thank you! So encouraging. I just ran a mile and it's not much but it's a start.

    This was so inspirational. The view you have during your run is amazing. I just lived vicariously through you haha. Thank you for all of you amazing tips and recipes.. and inspiration. You touched on emotional health which is something often overlooked by many people and I am so glad that you brought that up. BOTH are something we should be exercising very frequently.       try putting your phone in ur kitchen to charge over night at a certain time , Not only the blue screen on the phone blocks melatonin ( sleepy hormone ) But it can destract u from sleep

    Do what you love to do is so true. I quit the gym and started hiking and bike riding and am enjoying my health journey. Inner and outer peace is a slow journey ; enjoy!

    I have just noticed that there are quite a few 'thumbs down' to this video. That really confuses me since this video contains some very good advice on how to stay healthy, which I'm sure are the reasons everyone would view this video anyway.

    i spent aroung 6 months being pescatarian and doing most of everything you said in this video, and i felt happy everytime people say i lost weight, but i did all this when i was away from my family, when i was in university, then when i came home to christmas, my family ddnt even notice or they did but they never congratulated me or encourage me to go on, and they wont even understand that i eat different from them and that i have my own meals. so after that, i was discouraged and i stopped, now its been three months and i stopped dieting, stopped exercsing and everything and i became so negative and unhealthy. but i realized only now that it takes more than encouragement to succeed, it takes tolerance from all the negative people around you, that sadly, even your friends or family will not appreciate certain things you do. you just have to go on and prove them wrong. sadly, thats not what i did and i only realized this a few pounds of weight back later. i really wish i can go back on track. good luck to everyone!

    I have a hard time not buying processed foods and exercising but I found that I like working out on a stationary bike so I'm glad I found a workout for me. I pack fruit and granola bars as a snack now too (:

    No money can buy health or happiness. Working out, maintaining a social life, and managing stress has been my main driver for good health. I also watch my diet very closely, I have adding vitamins, whole foods, and lately also Probase Nutrition Collagen Peptides, which have made a huge difference.

      mangoes should be avoided like just intake them very less cause i believe they're too high in sugar, i think main thing should be avoided is sugar, and also natural things should also be chosen which have less of it lol

    The tea tip is great! I’ve started ordering tea instead of soda at restaurants, and if you do want soda I recommend Zevia. It’s sugar free, and all natural, plus the grapefruit flavor is delicious

    very good video, I really llike you :) but one thing I don't understand: why so many people like to drink juices and smoothies? I personally prefer to eat my fruits and veggies unprocessed. I don't know why but I think it tastes better to eat them "as they are".

      +Sweet2Rani juices are just broken down versions of themselves. They're not processed because nothing else is added to them, when done at home. Juicing just removes the fiber because the pulpy parts are the fiber. Smoothies have the fiber included which is why it's thicker but it's still the same (unprocessed). However, if you were to buy these juices/smoothies prepackaged then, yes, they're processed with additives like sugar and preservatives. Basically, it's a preference; some people don't like to eat veggies alone thus juicing is supposed allow them to get their intake of veggies without the veggie taste, so to speak.

      I personally find it easier to cram all of my five a day into a blender and make a smoothie, it seems like less that I have to eat (or drink) to achieve my goal. I think it's just easier to grab a bottle full of different varieties of fruit that can each do something different for your body and go, rather than cramming a banana, pack of strawberries, mango and oats into your bag. :)

      I love to juice and make smoothies but I always felt guilty about throwing out all the fibre from the vegetables or fruits that you juice.. I feel like it's such a waste and all the good stuff (fibre) gets thrown out when you could've eaten out! It's already difficult to get enough fruits and veggies in your diet as it is.

      Its a way to get the MOST nutrients. When you juice the fruits and vegetables you can consume WAY more than if you eat them so.

    What are your tips for staying on top of it? I enjoy what I do, but find myself not wanting to do it anyway. I make a plan, stick with it for a week or two, then slack off, and stop completely. How do I get over the just starting slump?

      I have started jogging and actually started using my exercise DVD's (i dont have time to go to the gym with my busy lifestyle)!
      I also am now eating 3 healthy meals a day, instead of snacking all day lol! And i feel great!

    I been drinking so much water since August (We're in November now) and I seen no improvement at all in anything -.- my skin still looks horrible, I don't ever feel refreshed or hydrated, I'm always tired and I can honestly say from experience that it doesn't really help me lol, I also have been eating healthier and being more active but still nothing. I'm jealous of the people who actually get results /:

      Perhaps go see your doctor. Dehydration, thirst, excessive urination and skin infections can be symptoms of diabetes.

      Drinking water is only one small part of improving your lifestyle, (tea by the way is a diuretic and will dehydrate you!)
      The fastest and easiest way to start the new you is to get a blender and make a large smoothie at least once a day! cut out dairy if you are not a vegan already to improve your skin and also reduce the amount of salt in your diet.. hope this helps!

    Going off of tip number 3 -- this is an amazing no-tech solution to track water consumption. Personally, I always tell my patients to keep track of how much fluid they take in daily - recommending eight 8oz glasses of water, but more if they are active. This seems a fun way to keep your kids drinking water as well, with the turn click bottom. This upcoming Kickstarter project seems to have a firm grasp of how to address this in an easy, straightforward way!

    No matter how much I hear the words "drink more water" it's never enough. Thanks for the reminder! Lately I've found drinking water with a straw makes it easier to drink more water regularly.
