  • Monday marks the 21st anniversary of the crash off Long Island's south shore which killed all 230 people on board. As they do every year, family members gathered at the seaside memorial site -- still questioning what brought down the Paris-bound jet. CBS2's Ali Bauman reports.

My mother’s friend knew some one who was on the flight.

At the very least the families of those poor souls should be told the truth - it wasn't an overheated fuel tank but missiles accidentally locking onto the jet fired from a U.S. Navy vessel.

    TWA handled the families badly.

Where are all the sailors confirming that a missile shot it down? And if it was such a cover up why would the Government do their best to rebuild the fuselage? Surely that would be a dead give away of a missile strike....
