I love this family. I have been watching them daily for almost 4 years. I don’t know why it doesn’t get old, I look forward to my 20 minutes a day with them. It negates a lot of the awfulness you see in the world ❤️❤️❤️
OMG! Ultimate flashback. I've been following the family daily since just before the bus tour. So many changes and not just the kids but the farm itself. Thank you for posting this.
I'm 64 years old and started having chickens 5 years ago here in nc.now I have large gardens and just had my first pigs processed.goes to show no matter how old you are it is never to late to get started.you guys are the first youtube I ever watched and have been an inspiration every since.please keep up what your doing and let everyone know your never to old to start homesteading even on a small level.love you guys.
I am the same age. We moved here to s.e. Kentucky over 4 years ago. I had chickens that I kept on a friend's property where we used to live. Was going to expand what I was doing on my own property when my husband was forced to retire a little earlier than he had planned. I had big plans. What I didn't plan on was my father passing away, my son getting sick requiring frequent doctor visits, and my husband developing heart issues. All with in the first 2 years here. In spite of all that I am raising Kiko goats, Orpington chickens, milking my own goat, and I raised our own steer this last year. Things aren't where I had planned they would be by now (still don't have running water in the house), but they are better than they were 4 years ago, with me doing 85-90% of all the work. My father used to tell us "'can't' can't do anything". He always encouraged me when I wanted to try something new, never told me I couldn't do something. There are days it is exhausting and I question why do I keep trying. I look back at where we were compared to where we are now and I know we are in the right place.
@@kimberlya9699 hey kimberly just start small with a couple chickens at first and maybe a small raised garden.you can do that even if you live in the city.trust me you can do it.nothing is better than fresh eggs and some fresh homegrown tomatoes.good luck.
Enjoyed the vid going back some years and seeing the kids when so young still. They sure have grown into lovely young teens. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
And look at them know, successful vibrant outgoing abundant plus extras and the sky is the limit. Congratulations !! Been watching them since the beginning, look forward to see what's next. ✌
They all have come a long ways , Love how Justin cook s, clean and always has most of his kids with him, He teaches them thing they will not get out of a book, These kids will stand on there own 2 feet when older , Not on Welfare or in tent city or doing drugs, , More parents need to start doing more with there kids ,
Justin, I've been watching you since 2020 and had known a little about what you went through with Lyme but this clip gives me so much more of an understanding of what you went through and still struggle with. There are no words as to how impressed and humbled I am by your accomplishments. God has truly blessed you and your family. I have sometimes been one of your harshest critic whenever I see you do something I know isn't going to work.(i.e. milking stand). But you pushed through and I promise never to be "that" person again. I am on Team Rhodes for the long haul. I have put you and your family in my prayer journal and will keep you all in prayer daily. Your father would be so incredibly proud of you. I am so blessed to be able to watch a small section of your family's life. Thank you.
OMG !! Look how little the kid's are !! Just LOVE this !! Thank you :) And did you notice she used a Gallon of Store bought milk !!!! This was MANY years ago,lol
Great family and role models. cannot believe how young they all were! Mr Brown the age little Henry is now. How far they have come as inspirers and just a wholesome family
I love your family I've been watching them for several years I think since Gideon was born I remember you filming from the other room so we couldn't see and then you let the kids in after he was born
Thank you for sharing this. I used to count every penny at check out for food and it was so stressful. Also ashamed of it. Hindsight, my kids had a great childhood and it made them resilient
I am also a homesteader that is battling the horrible effects of Lyme. I got sick with Lyme on July 3rd 2019 and have suffered ever since. I do have better days now but I believe I will forever have complications from it. So many people do not understand Lyme.
Omg, these clips are like 5 years old, I forgot how small the kids were and how the front yard looked before the permachicken and raised bed kitchen garden. And now they have the cow and turkeys and meat chickens and the sheep and the pigs! This is wicked to look back on....awe, Justin's dad was still alive during this footage.
I really hope one day soon to fulfill my dream of a hobby farm. I love the gifting checkbook. I would love to do that with fruit trees, vegetables and be able to grow an abundance to gift to everyone. Wow, not giving up on my dream. Love you guys.
WOW how many years ago what the video of Justin & his family from??? They have come so far from what the place looks in this video. Mr. Brown was not born yet he was on the way. WOW. I love how there Farm looks now & Mr. Brown has grown up in to a great big brother helping with both the farm & with his 1 year old baby brother Henry. & Helps with is @ older Brothers & his Older sister as well. They all help there Mama & Papa with so much on there family farm. I love watching Justin & his family & all there videos all the time. they are great.
She just mentions she was pregnant with him when they were at rockbottom and started permaculture. Though in fairness, all the kids are so similar looking then and zipping around it’s hard to count them 🤣

Love what you have created ...only wish Google and the big technocrats didn't benefit from it....but alternatives are making a big impact...more and more channels are expanding to alternative platforms and I make a point to support them with that move.

I remember Jonah being that small! Time flies!
I need to watch Justin Rhodes when he has a new video. Justin also introduced me to Joel Salatin. Which I'm grateful for.

Bryan, you GOTTA do an update on this video. Justin's come a VERY long way if you're not aware. Still using a lot of the OG VF methods.
This is an old recording, look how small the Kids Are...
My goodness the kids are young, Josiah just turned 13, I am guessing he is 4 or 5 in this video
Amazing to see how much his property has improved since then was filmed. His land is SOOO much healthier due to rotational grazing.
They were just babies! :D
Ukimwi ni hatari.do you know swahili
Thank you
I love this family but I am not sure why you are showing his older version of his videos not sure if copyright issues are in place here.
Is this very old footage?
Yes! He’s the main man!
So your just going to post someone elses content as your own. Quite despicable.
no offense, but he's not a good parent, he's a bit irresponsible
