@@SpammytheHedgehog Thanks! My Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 5 Trailer video will post tomorrow!
How would Bo get the Mythosaur off of Mandalore? doesn't look like it'd fit in her ship
@@stonedsoup3535 think it'll break through those. It's the space travel to the armorers group that id be worried about. They'd need a star destroyer to carry that thing
@@stonedsoup3535 Seems like they have a few things to figure out before uniting the mandalorians
So glad to see Ahmed Best get the chance to come back in such a cool way after all the jar jar backlash. Tears to my eye it brought.
I didnt make that connection until i read your comment. His facial hair threw me off. Thank you. ❤
I watched this at 2am Central time and I was like... "I know that guy. Who is that?"
And I thought the same thing you did. Ahmed gets a little redemption.
Facts!
Yes, that is awesome that they gave him a part outside Jar Jar and the best part because now he will also be remembered as the one who saved Grogu.
Yooooooooooooo! That's a great catch! AMAZING!
As someone who was a kid when The Phantom Menace released, I really hope Ahmed Best gets all the love and support he’s ALWAYS deserved ❤️
Agree! I was an adult when PM came out. It was a wonderful experience and the keyboard bullies never deserved the power they were given.
I was a kid too. And being a kid, I saw it in theaters and thought that jar jar was the best part. Of course now I know that he was one of the worst aspects of the prequels. But still I think this is a big w for him! He was really cool!
Indeed he played Jar Jar so good and he doesn't deserve that hate.... When I saw the PM back in May 1999 I was impressed with everything in that movie and Jar Jar has a ways of making me laugh especially when he has half a Droid on his feet shooting other droids that was so funny 😂
@@BestBFam Yup toxicity infecting almost every fan base as if they get personally offended when something doesn't adhere to their neverending standards.
Bo is slowly taking on a mommy role to Grogu. When Din wanted him to duel the other foundling, she was very apprehensive like most moms, while Din was like “nah, let him go.” 😂
This might be an interesting dynamic since Bo was never a Child of The Watch and Bo thinks if Din as Grogu’s daddy as shown in S303.
so true it was so sweet to see she was concerned about the kid lol.
@@TamagoHead episode 2 I believe the episode that hardly had Mando in it was episode 3
@@tylerkister4628 thx! I’ll rewatch before the next episode! 👍
They setting up din and boe to be a cupple and marry eventually and unite the madalorians u can see that's were it's going I hope so any way mando and boe deserve each other
When Paz Vizla says "He's my son!" I can almost feel the desperation the character emits and I also didn't expect the twist.
And he followed up with “He’s alive!” with great satisfaction and immediately went head first for the bird, I grew to like him just off this alone
@@23anderz Same
Me either
100%, like you can just barely hear his voice cracking, and you can feel all the layers of emotion. Pretty impressive knowing that's Jon Favreau's voice too. Like, he's an awesome director, but usually when he's in front of the camera it's just to be the comic relief character.
Totally saw the rock crab scene as though they were gathering around Grogu. Maybe foreshadowing that he has beast control powers? This season has had a lot of beasts featured so far.
I absolutely think that’s what it was. Like how Luke called all the frogs to him to show grogu the power of the force. I think he was actually calling the crabs to practice his abilities and that’s why once he leaves they all do aswell
I think he has already showcased this ability, beastmaster or whatever you would call it. The way he calmed the Rancor in BoBF was the biggest evidence of this so far.
@@TheLeeBonner he def has the beast taming ability but he may need to hone it. Even after all the time w Luke rediscovering his abilities, taming the rancor knocked him out. He probably has to practice at it so that when he takes the mythosaur he’ll be stronger and able to keep consciousness
I thought that too. To me, Grogu was left all alone by the lake so he played with the crabs. As any good parent, Din wanted his kid to socialize with other kids, and had him do harmless challenges with other foundlings.
He's going to need to do some training before taming the mythosaur.
I don't think the Armor was disbelieving Bo-Katan when she told her she saw the mythosaur. I think the Armorer understood that, whether Bo saw the mythosaur for real or as a vision, it's a very personal and spiritual experience.
And I love how they end the scene with Bo-Katan staring at the mythosaur symbol on the wall. It's as if destiny is calling to her.
This is the way
That's how I saw it too. It's just a very personal thing to "see" the Mythosaur whether irl or in visions.
Yeah, it doesn't matter whether it was real or a vision or hallucination. It's all the same to them. But she's def gonna go back and learn how to tame and ride it.
I agree. To me, when the Armorer said “when you walk the way, you’ll see many things” it confirmed that the Armorer believes that there’s something magic/mystical about following the creed and that everything is possible for the believer.
@@Secretsongs20 which Bo-Katan is now a believer.
Carl Weathers did a masterful job with this episode!
he did great!
The fight sequences in the air with Drogon is very difficult to make realistic!!
He nailed it!
@@akira28shima32 agreed
Action Jackson Baby!
Literally jumped up at the Kelleran Beq reveal. I had a blast working with him on Jedi Temple Challenge and couldn't be more stoked for him. He's an amazing guy and it's much deserved.
You worked on Jedi Temple Challenge!?! What happened to it? It is like COVID killed it after only 10 epidodes.
This is the first time I could see all that serious and expressive emotion in Grogu’s face. Another episode of stellar leadership from Bo Katan. It’s always great to see the Mandalorian’s in action working together as a unit.
Emmy. No eye deer how they did it (puppeteers, CGI, etc), it’s great. Props to Jon & Fiona & Weathers’ direction.
Yeah when he was having flash backs you could really see the emotion and the trauma, was crazy to see on Grogu’s face
But remember the fact the show is about Din and not Bo
I think most fans here are on the same page in regards to Ahmed, what an incredible way to do justice by someone who put so much work and effort into his character. I've seen the "making of" documentaries for the prequels here on RUclips, and you can tell that he was an absolute blast to work with, exuberating positive energy and rocking his giant sunglasses. I'm not sure whose idea it was to bring Best onto the project, but whoever it was, you have the fanbases unwavering respect.
Absolutely 💯 🙌🙌🙌🙌 such AWESOMENESS!!! Great for him and what an EPIC and badass moment!!! All the feels💯🙌🙌🙌😎🤙
Agreed. Now they need to do something for Jake Lloyd. They owe it to him.
Bo Katan is such a great amazing addition to the show. She’s slowly becoming my favorite
I also think it’s pretty dope that the armorer acknowledges she saw a mythasaur
i agree im really loving her character arc she adds a lot to an already great show
Me too. I find myself rooting for her a lot.
I really like her a lot too! The fact that she even showed up last year was proof enough for me that she belongs on the show as a main character
@@HaleTheFreeVoice The armorer is def interested in her potential and wants to harness her power. Some interesting potential dynamics have been set up.
Bo ,and Din's parent moment with grogu when they sent him off to fight the other kid was so heartwarming truly a mom ,and dad thing, mum wants to coddle him dad says he should be tougher.
This episode was sick, 9/10
Excellent blend of backstory and moving the goals forward as Dinn and Bo have not only been forgiven but now are celebrated members for bringing the beast down and RECRUITING 3 more beasts to help protect them (perhaps)
The fact they put all this in 30 minutes is amazing. Loved this episode!
@@raf686 That's what impresses me the most
And I struggle to think about what really needed five more minutes of time.
Like this part of grogo's ark of how he escaped was perfectly buttoned up together
Maybe it would have been nice to have two more minutes in the Jedi temple, so those four Jedi knights didn't look like scrubs
But honestly, I genuinely don't know where I would have added more time and have it payoff
Maybe you could have had a more violent death for the bird creature? But honestly it was kind of perfect the way it ended and was done
@@NerfThisBoardGames I agree with everything you said. Of course it's like man a packed episode with so much juice and you wanting more I thunk that is what a show should strive to do imo! It was just amazing! So much going on and more surprises coming. Ahhh I can't wait.
I love Mandalorians' way with beasts... Though I think it may be quite a while before the Children of the Watch may try to go full spelunker mode in Mandalore's mines.
With what happened to Ragnar (as well as to the other foundlings who were not so lucky), I think they'll be increasing the tribe's numbers more (and, I think, doing some more rescues to get more foundlings, sentient beings and beasts alike).
This is the way.
@@ZeroSeriesMMX agree 100% and this is the way!
It’s just good seeing Mandos finally working together and not fighting each other. But that flashback of Order 66 got to me for some reason. It just made me so sad seeing grogu having to experience that
little dude has some serious PTSD!
THIS! I was so excited the whole time - we finally got to see how awesome they are when a BUNCH of them work together! We've only seen a handful at a time. It was like getting a glimpse at the before times
Didn’t look awesome to me
I would love to see Grogu have a special connection to creatures like Ezra does. It's really fascinating to see.
He already does!
He already sort of does have that, it doesn’t mean that all the beasts of the galaxy will be an ally to him but certainly he has a special connection to them. The way he calmed the Rancor I’m BoBF was evidence of this.
Someone didn't see the book of Boba fet
If you watch Boba Fett Grogu uses the beast tame ability
@@rafenix84 probably for the best as that show was meh. The show was all over the place, the mod biker gang was kinda bland, and boba fett didn't feel like himself. The episodes with Din and grogu were the best part, but that reunion happened way too quickly. Plus they wasted Cad Bane, who's one of my favorite clone wars characters. I give it a 4/10 very disappointed.
What I found most impressive about the opening scene. We assume, incorrectly it turns out that Grogu is practicing his use of the force to push little rocks around. Except it's then revealed those are not rocks but something close to hermit crabs and he is actually connecting with and compelling them to move in the directions he desires. In the forge the Armorer speaks truth that the forge reveals weakness. Grogus weakness is him being held back by his past trauma, which the forge revealed. Oh.. And there's always a bigger fish.
Agree. I didn’t understand Charlie’s assumption that they were lunch and random. I doubt both of those, particularly given the way they all take off when he disengages. He was clearly moving them with his force connection to animals which he’s used before.
Qui-Gon was in my head the moment that Raptor creature got chomped
wow, well said.
Ahmed Best cameo was great. Looking forward to Grogu's armor. And shout-out to Carl Weathers who was credited with directing this episode. Really Great Job!
Was really surprised to see Ahmed playing Jedi character and he saved grogu. It’s a big win for him
If JarJar can't be the ultimate Sith Lord, at least Ahmed can be a crucial Jedi.
@@michaeldoran4831 I agree. But I still blame everything that happened in the original trilogy because of jar jar 😂😂😂
@@kdusel1991 no idea. George did it for kid appeal, and threw jar jar under the bus.
The armorer treats him with respect, not like a baby that can't, but like a growing member of the group. This whole episode just broke my heart in the best way.
Honestly the reveal for who directs each episode excites me too, was pleasantly surprised by Carl Weathers cause this episode was fantastic! Up there with Bryce Dallas Howard and Jon Favreau.
I thought the scene with Grogu and the crabs, he was displaying his connection with creatures. And when Din said to stop playing with the rocks, he didn't realize he was playing with the crabs. Or using his force on the crabs. And when he got up, they went back in the water. As they weren't connecting with Grogu anymore.
I took the ending as the armourer KNOWING the mythosaur exists. She tried to shrug it off as a vision, but the attitude when she said "this is the way" kind of gave an "ah, you got me. But keep it to yourself" feeling.
Just me?
I think a similar thing happened with Mandalore.
The armourer knows it's fine. It was a test - or more cynically, a way to deter people from breaking the creed.
I really don't know the Armored attitude was very strange and I almost felt sorry for Bo who seemed to not really know what she saw. But if I have to guess I have the feeling that exchange is important I mean it's like Bo was destined to see the beast and that meant something like a destiny if you will. But I could be wrong.
I assumed when the little crabs got up and moved away, it was because Grogu had done the same. My sense was maybe they were drawn to him in the same way that the space whales were. I can't help but wonder if Grogu has a similar ability to Ezra for taming/connecting with animals.
Double edged sword for some animals as they could become Grogu's lunch...
It would be so cool to see Ezra teach Grogu more on how to communicate with animals. Especially with purgill or, even cooler, get Grogu a pet Loth wolf.
Or they sensed he was hungry
@@benitoluera8467 🎉😂😂😂Great Visual pun! Instead of brute forcing a living being via kinetic uses of the force, Grogu can attract & manipulate instincts for fun.

So glad Grogu will be slowly getting his armor, he’s a true Mandalorian and I’m glad the Mandalorians are accepting him, I love the Mandalorian Culture and way of life. Definitely need more in future episodes!

I'm really hoping he builds his own lightsaber at some point.
This is the way!

This is the Way
Kelleran Beq was surgical with those 2 lightsabers when he was picking off the Clone troopers in that flashback scene. Glad we finally got to see who rescued Grogu from the Jedi temple during Order 66.
Grogu is getting cuter as the show goes on. It's overwhelming.
Paz Vizsla doesn’t necessarily have to have a partner. Just as Grogu is considered Din’s child, the kid who was captured by the raptor could have been found by Paz and is now under his care. I loved how Bo-Katan compared Grogu and Din’s relationship with her and her father’s relationship, confirming to us that Grogu is now considered Din’s adopted child.
He said Son. Din referred to Grogu as his ward.
@@asant90 That’s very true. I think the people close to Din now assume he is Grogu’s adoptive father because they can see how much they care about each other. So even though Din himself stops short of calling Grogu his son, people like Bo-Katan, Greef Karga, and Peli Motto know it to be true at this point.
I thought she'd already confirmed that when she'd asked him in a previous episode if he had thought his dad was the only Mandalorian.
@@davidjames468
Yes, but we have yet to hear Din himself call Grogu "son", and I think it will be a special moment when he does.
I could have sworn I heard them say the kid was a foundling. So I completely took things that Paz was the one who found him so he is the kid's father, by creed.
The pterodactyl beast being eaten by the croco-fish, made me think of "there's always a bigger fish"
My thoughts exactly
As soon as I saw it land in the water, I knew the monster from episode 1 was coming back.
When you think about it, Bo Katan is kind of a Foundling even if not even in the strictest sense. Yes she was born into royalty and is an adult. But she lost her entire family, her own followers abandoned her, she was all alone and the covert has also now taken her in.
Jar Jar Binks became a Jedi master, morphed into human form, changed his name to Kelleran and saved Grogu. Thats what I call redemption.
I'm really happy Ahmed Best was able to get an awesome role as a Jedi here. Really warms my heart as the hate he got for Jar Jar was so undeserved! It wasn't his fault the man was just doing his job! and Bo and Din's parent moment with Grogu when they sent himoff to fight the other kid was so heartwarming, truly a mom and dad thing, mum wants to coddle him dad says he should be tougher and for a tiny second there I honestly thought it was Mace Windu. Defo the best episode so far if a bit short. This is the way.
You could have knocked me over when Bo confessed what she saw with the Armorer. Also, when will the kid lose that potatoe sack he has been wearing.
nice!
Basically Never, I'm very doubtful we'll get rid of it anytime soon
The potato sack helps hide a bunch of the animatronics in that multimillion dollar puppet
@@NerfThisBoardGamesit is the way, but not fashion forward.
I think we will need to see a significant time jump when Grogu finally grows up a little more before he loses that thing.
@@katdee239 lol
I think Yoda's species naturally speaks telepathically and speaking physically is a skill they need to learn
I like how the titles usually refer and mirror two different characters. In this case two foundlings.
yep!
I really hope that with the amount of Beasts shown in this season, Grogu learns how to harness the beastmaster force ability, perhaps from Ezra if he ever shows up in later seasons. He's another Jedi who is very connected to Mandalore and the Mandalorian culture with having fought alongside them in Rebels, and is probably old enough now and adept enough in the Force that he could mentor Grogu in this ability, since that is his sort of 'force niche'. He and Sabine could probably even teach Din how to use the Darksaber if they ever meet as well.
I would like to see a movie trilogy in the future with Grogu as he main protagonist. It could be set 40 years in the future. He is the future of the Mandalor as he will outlive all of them.
No one fkn asked
They seem to be setting up Bo Katan to be the ruler / uniter of Mandalore (Mythasaur storyline) and possibly adopting Grogu as her son with Din. This would likely mean Grogu would be the next ruler after her and insure their "this is the way" culture for centuries. They've been hinting that Grogu will wield the Darksaber at some point.
Grogu might be the future of the entire Star Wars franchise. Anything set up to 900 years plus in the future, Grogu could appear.
I found it funny when the Crocolisk ate the Bird animal from this episode. It reminded me of “there’s always a bigger fish”
Every scene of Grogu is the best scene.
The way, this is.
He is a piece of shit and needs to be removed from the series
Jar Jar saved Grogu!
Ahmed Best was also seen in Coruscant when Obi Wan and Anakin were at the bar looking for the changeling in Episode II. There’s a quick shot of him right after Obi Wan cuts off her hand.
This is the way, that episode was so awesome, so glad to see Grogu's past during Order 66 and Ahmed Best's cameo comeback so wizard
Imagine how unbelievably powerful grogu will be if he becomes a mandalorian that's powerful with the force.
Hear me out: The armourer knew about the mythasaur when mando and bo returned from the living waters. She knew that mando shouldnt have sunk, but since he did it told her there was a mythasaur down there. Maybe its a part of the prophesy where that the one to be dragged down in the living waters will be the new mandalore the great and will ride the mythasaur. Maybe the armourer lied to bo katan because she knows din must be the one to tame the mythasaur, weild the dark saber and unite the mandalorians
When Grogu was about to fight the Foundling, it reminded me of Daniel in the Karate Kid in his first match. He was timid, until Mr Miyagi motioned to Daniel to show what he could do. Just like The Mandalorian motioned to Grogu during the training session fight. Great episode!
Order 66 scene was brilliant, glad to see the coruscant guard make an appearance. Hope we get another cameo with Ahmed bests Jedi character.
What are the odds?
I think the rock-crabs surrounding him is more a queue that he attracts and can control beasts as his main force power, some foreshadowing what's to come with him and the mythosaur.
I liked every minute of this episode, and Grogu officially is a Mandalorian ...and This is the way.
this was one of my favorite episodes, mainly for just confirming Grogu will get his armor and bo-katan's story, just wished it was a little longer. Also with Grogu and the crabs, to me it seemed he was using the force to bring the crabs closer because once he got picked up and was focused on something else they all ran off
Definitely nice seeing Ahmed Best as a Jedi and a cool one at that. Season is halfway over with only 4 episodes left and the plot is like no where to be seen yet lmao. And it feels like they set Din up to lead last season and in book of boba but decided that they changed their minds and now want Bo to lead instead and i don’t love that given she’s had her chances and mandalore as a whole needs a new fresh start. Was cool seeing all the training on the beach. Enjoyed that. The lack of dark saber usage is kinda disappointing tho. Why even have given it to him if he’s just not going to ever use it and when he does he’s still sucks? This episode would have been absolutely perfect for showing him training with it. And the fact that it’s supposed to give claim to the throne and also just be a huge deal to mandalorian culture yet no one in the covert has even batted an eye at it. I really expected them to see him with the dark saber after he redeemed himself and pledge themselves to him and that this season would be about him coming to terms with the weight of leadership and defining what it means to be mandalorian. Now I’m just assuming that the final episode will just end up being all the mandos fighting the pirates which is exactly what i predicted the first episode and would be really upset about because of how lame that would be thematically
Lmao you sound like a huge baby
I think the pirates are more of a red herring. I think he is setting up a plot for a different show like Rangers of the New Republic. The TIE bombers and Interceptors from the second episode did not come from Treebeard the Space Pirate. That was a whole squadron of them -- more than you would find aboard a typical Imperial cruiser. They came from a Star Destroyer, much like the one commanded by a certain Blue-skinned Grand Admiral.
These shows are designed to dovetail together like Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, and the other Chicago first responder shows. This is Disney. They want to have interlocking series like the Avengers, where each wrinkle in the Universe folds into another plotline that mix the shows together. In the end, Ashoka will track down Ezra and Hera, who will team up with the Mandalorians in Gideon's ship (who will come to follow Bo Katan before this season is out), and everybody will go attack Thrawn. In the end, it won't be Din or Bo Katan who is the new Mandalore. It will be Grogu, who walks the line between the Jedi and the Mandalorians, who can control the animals (mythosaur) and wield the Darksaber, just like Tar Viszla, who built it in the first place.
@Austin Calm the fuck down. You expect too much. Mandalorian season 3 has been absolutely great so far, my only complaint is we’ve spent like 40 mins out of 4 episodes following Mando. But this is necessary for world building. I prefer that the problem of the week format of earlier seasons.
Anyone else make a connection between Bo bringing birds as foundlings and also being a night owl.
Was waiting for this breakdown! Din, Bo and Grogu showing skills. Short but powerful!!
We'll see more of that in future episodes!
After everything Ahmed Best has been through because of the so called "fans" of this franchise, he deserves his moment to shine as Jedi Kelleren Beq. I'm so pleased for him and its great to see him back!
I'm thinking Grogu may get some tiny pauldrons sooner than other pieces (and I'd imagine that won't hamper his mobility anyway)... Vambraces are too soon for him. Sure, he may be able to gather his wits and try to construct a lightsaber using the Force and Beskar steel scraps (the Armorer may provide him with some, as their Beskar trust fund is damn gracious to foundlings) -- as long as he isn't distracted by using the Force to pull fresh food to him. 😂
Gotta say, I absolutely love they way they're showing the relationship between the armourers group and Bo-Katan. The way they accepted her based solely on Creed and no one is treating her any differently because of her past. They accepted her so quickly and treat her just like one of their own. They've done a great job at showing the passion and loyalty of Mandalorians that I don't think we've really got to see so far in the SWU. I really hope whatever happens next, they can maintain this kind of relationship, cause it seems so pure an honest.
Totally agree with you! Them affirming her, all touching her shoulder, was such a tender moment
Looks like they're making a dividing line between potential rulers maybe. Din has the dark sabre. Bo saw the mythosaur. She led the rescue party - but din is the one who actually saved ragnar and was thanked by paz. But the armorer gives credit to bo.
That episode was crazy fun. I love how all the animated showed get worked into the live action. Star Wars is the best at making it all cohesive.
The Naboo protecting Grogu, is also an easter egg from the OG Battlefront II game. For the storyline mode of the Naboo map - 501st Storming Naboo's palace for illegally harbouring Jedi.
Probably my favorite ‘family’ of Star Wars ships come from the Naboo line. So it’s really nice to see a pre-empire Naboo cruiser again in its full chrome glory. The N1 starfighter along with the first royale cruiser featured in Phantom Menace as Padme’s ship will always be my all-time favorites.
I think the crabs around grogu is to imply his beast control force ability
I think Bo Katan is the foundling they are referring to in this episode!
She was born into a royal family. She’s definitely not a founding and never was 😂😂🤦🏽. This has to be a troll
@@jordanandino3882 no, she was lost…everyone she knew was dead or abandoned. The episode again focused a lot on her, IMHO. She is now found
We don’t know if the Armorer didn’t believe her. She seems to acknowledge that once she walks the Way, she’ll see many things. Also, several times she calls Ragnar a foundling. She told Din before that Grogu was under his care because he found him, so most likely Paz found Ragnar.
Yes! There might not be a lady friend to Paz, he rescued him instead
When the Armorer said the foundlings were their future, I suddenly thought, is part of their rules to not have intimate relationships and make babies???
@@coffeeteamix i think it is their easiest and fastest way to re-establish their culture. An adopted 12 year old human will become a full-fledged Mandalorian faster than a newborn.
@@Unicornsandpie thought this as well.
This was such a big win for Ahmed Best! The fact they made his character in the official canon from a kids show on youtube is awesome! So happy for Ahmed. This was such a great episode for grogu and happy with Bo-Katan stepping up as a leader! Good for Katee as well.
at the end when bo-kotan is staring at the mythosaur figurehead, I am like I hope she convinces the rest of the clan to go tame the beast. also cool shield armor for grogu, maybe he can help with taming the mythosaur.
I can't wait until the armorer sees that mythosaur. She barely even raised an eyebrow when mando limped in with a darksaber but I'm betting the mythosaur might even get her voice to raise an octave maybe
Even though the Armorer was firm with Grogu I still sensed a warmth from her towards Grogu. I think she's fond of him and knows more about him than she says.
Ratings crashed during last week’s episode but I must say this is probably the best season so far for me.
agreed
I think the Armorer doesn’t necessarily not believe Mando or Bo Katan but I think she’s kinda like an oracle and doesn’t want to interfere with the fate that she knows is going to unfold
I really loved this episodes. I love when shows starts slow and ramp up. Though, if they starts to slow down now, I might get a bit disappointed since it's only 4 episodes left.
Ahmed Best looked AMAZING in this episode
Seeing Ahmed back in star wars and saving Grogu, was awesome! Also, loved seeing the flashback, and the foundlings going thru their training. Bo is biding his time. Also, I just got a feeling that show's title, is in reference to baby yoda aka Grogu. His waddle is cute too haha. His armor upgrade is so awesome Also, when Bo Kataan shows the Armorer the Mythosaur, she's gonna like what say you now?. This is the way!
This season has been amazing. Cant deny that. This has been fun and exciting and this was short sadly but carl weathers did a good job i felt. I do wish this show got at least 12 episodes.
I thought Bo was going to get a new pauldron with the Mudhorn sigil on it, to match Din and Grogu’s clan. A clan of three!
But I like the mythosaur sigil and what it represents for the overall plot.
The fact that there are so many crazy monsters I think is really building up an area of strength for Ezra Bridger. These animals cause crazy havoc and take a ton of resources and ability to fight and I think we are going to see some awesome force control of some awesome beasts.
Isn't it plausible that the Naboo ship and security detail, the friends of Kellerin, were organized by Senator Jar Jar? Which makes the cameo even more meaningful?
The thing is that the Naboo Security Detail makes no sense. They randomly appear after what was an surprise attack on the Temple. Plus by having Naboo security forces fight Clones and protect Jedi, the new Empire would see Naboo as a threat and immediately occupy Naboo. Instead as we see in Revenge of the Sith and Tales of the Jedi, the planet still operates independently from direct imperial rule.
Edit: Also as usual the fighting tactics are very stupid. Why are clones with ten years of training running towards someone who can kill them with one swing from the Lightsaber? Disney should be mandating military advisors for all productions involving paramilitary or military groups.
Always great to see a fellow prequel member
One major thing you missed.....when the dinosaur turtle eats the flying beast you can almost hear Qui Gon saying, 'There's always a bigger fish."
It'll be interesting to see how they make a helmet to accommodate Grogu's ears.
Grogu having flashbacks as the Armorer armors beskar like Din Djarin in season 1 episode 2 is such a cool nod.
I think Grogou attracts little critters and big animals. If you go back to season 1 when Din Djarin was walking in the canyon with him in the pod. All those curious little animal lizards started following the pod and were talking to each other...until they were ambushed by the other bounty hunters. So I don't think he was trying to eat the crabs...I think they were playing with each other. You realize when Din Djarin picked up Grogou for the challenge the crabs "threw in the towel"😂😂😂😂😂 and went to the water
i think bo using mythosaur sigil is just a sign of her being more pulled to the traditionalist way.
if grogu is the one calming and taming the mythosaur, now that is big twist.
The Order 66 flashback was insane. It was also cool to see Grogu do Yoda jumps that Luke taught him. Jedi Mandalorians are OP.
I didn't realize that was Ahmed Best until I saw the credits at the end of the episode, what a great way for him to come back to Star Wars. I had to clue my coworker in as to who that was. That was a great fight scene for him too. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Mandalorian training and the big rescue. We'll see how long until the Armorer believes Bo-Katan about the mythosaur.
This show really squeezes a lot of story into minimum time.
When the bird creature was eaten by the crocodile creature, it reminded me of the Phantom Menace when Qui-Gon said, "There is always a bigger fish" to Obi-Wan and Jar-Jar.
Best lived thru filming of the entire prequel era till now,he is perhaps more well versed in Jedi mannerisms than most would give him credit for
Holy smokes! Jar jar saved grogu!
In all seriousness after being pushed so far to almost taking his life over a role, man came back swinging as a legend 😊
For real glad he came back and remembered like this saving grogu
man love this season so far. everything slowly coming together. I WANT MORE!!!
You are not correct that the crab/snails tried to run from Grogu. They gathered around him using the force, when he moved they moved as well and they were going closer to him and he was actually communicating through the force. That's a clue for the future, Grogu is going to communicate with the Mythosaur and again they are showing to us what Grogu is capable of doing.
And I just don't like how they tied how Grogu was saved because questions remains how Grogu was on that planet for so long and that was his last known location so that one star destroyer could easily came and capture him and how he ended up with the hired guns to keep him "safe" all those years.
The answer is that they never planned to have seasons like we have now and all those shows, it was just a pilot for the streaming service. George left room for the episodes I-III for example, if he never made them that would be okay but he easily tied things up but they didn't make first season in that manner and we had side quests from episode to episode to the expanded season to the book of boba fett and now it's obvious that we have larger story involved. They could just make the story that they easily could tie it up and this is showing to me that they really have a problem with the storytelling, even Dave and John.
Kathleen has to go. It's her fault for sure.
NIce that Ahmed Best got some respect. The actor didn't write the dialog and he simply acted the way the director told him to, like it or not, Jar Jar Binks was all on George Lucas.
Also it was nice that bo took her helmet off to eat but it's been a while since we've seen mando take his off that we a good opportunity to give pedro some face time they missed
I really enjoyed this particular episode alot of answers to years of questions in very little time plus Carl Weathers directed this episode and in my opinion did one Hell of a job
Absolutely love that Ahmed Best gets to have his moments. I always felt he was treated unfairly by Star Wars fans for a character he didn't create or write.
Grogu with Beskar armour and the Darksaber would be so cool
Grogu checking out those giant baby birds and wondering if they taste like chicken.
Even with all the focus on Bo Katan and Grogu, I am glad the Din is the one who saves the kid. Din is The Mandalorian and his heroics is the main draw of the show.
The entire time they were scaling the mountain I could not get over how heavy that goddamn gun must have been to carry up that mountain.
"I've gotta scale a mountain side, better grab the biggest gun I can find."
...I know we all wanted that to be Mane Windu but the way they honoured Ahmad Best was really really well done. I hope we see him cameo in the Ashoka series.
...ALSO, I need him to be an action figure now.
Yes! More Ahmed Best! His martial arts skills really were shown off in the fight scenes. More, more, more!
This is all so good I don't know where to start. I've watched the chapter twice so far today. When the Armorer gives Grogu the rondel it's just so fabulous. I am not sure why I got teary but have seen others say they did too. So well done. Yeah I figured those little baby pterdactyls would be Grogul's new pet friends and he will ride them. If Ragnar is Paz Vizsla's son, how can he be a foundling...... is he like a son by relationship like Grogu is Din's son not biological son? You mentioned something about who is Paz Vizsla's wife suggesting Ragnar is his bio son.....? I guess the Foundling referred mainly to Grogu but they also called Ragnar the Founding........ then there are the three baby bird foundlings and Bo Katan is a bit of a foundling at the moment.
I feel like, as time progresses, we're gonna see Grogu complete his mandalorian training, but when it's his turn to take the creed, he'll turn away and find his own path to walk.
grogu is still a kid, wait a few more decades and maybe he could be a bit more independent
I thought grogu with the stone crab things was actually him reaching out with the force ,and bonding with them.
The armorer definitely knows what's in the living waters. I think she always like Din ,and wanted him to see it for himself, but it looks like Bo accidentally stole his destinys.
