Second song: Original
Third song: Original - Видеоклипы
The first one is drop C#, drop D is standard but the low E is D
Thank you, i was confused.
Lmao😂😂😂
@@josiahholub1937 why r u laughing?
@@mokocchii being in quotes doesn’t have anything to do
It’s drop d with the whole guitar tuned down a half step as well. So it’s effectively drop d, hence the quotation marks.
"Drop D" bro is lost like me in my first guitar class
💀💀💀☠️
good thing he told us about drop d the fun new exciting tuning nobody knows about
Imagine being this good at guitar but not knowing the difference between drop D and drop c#
You missed how the middle tuning was hard to understand as a basic guitaristy
Drop d with suspended fourths throughout the treble of the fretboard translation. Easier fingerings basically
It’s drop d with the whole guitar tuned down a half step as well. So it’s effectively drop d, hence the quotation marks.
@@crayondude8014 Drop C# makes more sense
@@crayondude8014 that tuning has a name my guy: drop c#
@@Leo._... not really cause that would imply the other 5 strings to be in standard
“Drop D”
Shows drop C#
1. That aint drop d, drop d is one of the most simple changes from standard tuning
2. I recommend open D, always tune down to that when im feeling low
I have a feeling dude legit tuned down the whole guitar a half step from drop d just to fuck with everybody lmao.
I don't play guitar at all, but man everytime my guitarist grabs his open D tuned guitar it's just a vibe. Sounds hopeful and joyous but at the same time kinda melancholic, like if you just got through a rough patch in life that has ended now but at the same time you're looking back and reflecting on all the shit that's happened. That tuning sure has got something to it.
@@torgejh9189 well said
@@dylanalbert942 Thanks, Mr.
Meanwhile me in drop G happily writing breakdowns
Ill keep my f# standard, thank you very much
Dude that chandelier tune is heavenly, ld love to hear a full song with it
I can't get that second riff out of my head, it sounds like a really good built to spill song
My brother, that is drop C#
Its sad cause now theres a bunch of new players who are gonna think thats drop d.
nice pfp
"To cure writers block" *plays covers*
i think u can write great lyrics to certain melodies
I was thinking that
@@moncherfremi but you aren’t writing your own song
@@proofalleyeson4889 i know
Absolutely
ive played only standard for making music till pretty recently, and it opens up so many new possibilities and cures writers block instantly for me. its so nice
Did you just call Drop C#, Drop D?
I like how with that second tuning, even though your playing something chill it still manages to sound like opeth because they used that tuning on ghost reveries. The triplets and chord choices you used sounds so much like opeth
nice tunings bro i will take it :3
nice guitar tone by the way
For alternative tunings I recommend Sonic Youth
exactly, look at all those noise rock and shoegaze bands for new tunings and just get used to it and find moveable shapes to use in that tuning to get started.
Alter Bridge are annoyingly inconsistent with their tunings. It's like Tremonti refuses to use the same tuning twice.
unless you use a strat or les paul! do not try to do sonic youth tunings unless you have strong strings or a jazzmaster
My brain is broken how is drop D starting with a C#... wasn't that drop c#?
yes, it was
It’s drop d with the whole guitar tuned down a half step as well. So it’s effectively drop d, hence the quotation marks.
@@crayondude8014 it's not drop d tho lmfaooo
@@crayondude8014 thats like calling drop c drop d because it's only a half step lower
@@crayondude8014 its not drop d. its in a dropped tuning which is a category of tuning which can be used with any sort of standard tuning. no one is gonna call drop c# "drop d but half a step down"
I'm a big fan of DADGAD, it's very cool and sounds kinda folk-y
I basically only play in drop d. it’s to the point I forget how to play in standard sometimes. I don’t know why I do it. I just suck at music and I guess drop d is more enjoyable and let’s me actually have some fun. Even if I don’t come up with anything cool it’s still fun so I don’t care
Drop D is awesome for more hard music
if you tune to dadgae you can get this really dreamy/shoegazey sound. some easy chords are: D-open A-open d-2 g-2 a-open e-open (asus4 i think) and D-2 A-2 d-4 g-4 a-open e-open. have fun!
I came to the comments looking for someone saying this, probably my favourite alternate tuning
i recommend the F major 9 tuning (FACGCe), if you're into math rock or midwest emo you'll know it as the Never Meant tuning and it's probably the most beautiful guitar tuning i've ever used.
Hell yea thats a great tuning.
man i really need those tabs for the second tuning plays shit's fire bro 🔥
I highly recommend Open G with double G in the bass: GGDGBD. sounds fantastic on my old Tele!
I love how his inspiration are songs I also know how to play
that second tuning sound awesome i gotta try it
hell yeah 😎
RIP B string
Bro that was the nicest drop D I've ever heard...oh yeah
the all apologies in the beginning was ❤️
When you've only learned three songs but want youtube to think you're a guitar god
I mean he is but probably not as note smart. Watching any of his other videos shows how skilled he is.
This guy is pretty talented... No need to be a judgemental asshole.
What? Hes really skilled though
Hating for no reason
Good shit, you’re fire on that guitar
great playing.
Love it man! Keep it up
I will always recommend CGCFGc and CGCGCe. First one is basically DADGAD but down a whole step. I find it cures my need for lower stuff without pulling out my 7. Plus, and idk why but, I use the higher strings wayyyy more. The 2nd one is basically an open C chord. It's very beautiful and makes playing anything on it effortless. Very fun tuning to use and you can really get creative with it even if you're not adapt at making riffs!
I really like B standard, it has a really nice and mellow sound to it.
Bruh that ain’t drop D
I'm a novice guitar player and even I can see that these alternate tunings open up a whole new world of possibilities.
"drop D"
second song is actually really good, and i never thought i’d say it about a video like this, but the way you play it is far superior to the original
I love drop D
And whole step down
Tones are great
Dudes guitar faces are on point!
In drop c# tune your low c# up to E... it's my new favorite thing to noodle around in ab minor with.
So basically half step down, but the low E stays on E?
Nice S.R.V necklace
Chandelier tuning was beautiful
First is eb standard drop c#
I like doing a really odd one. F#(octave 1) on the low with standard tuning on the rest. I put on a 62 gauge on my LTD M-50 when my string broke so had to go low. Try it out, it's actually like drop d but the low is lower like a bass and guitar mix. I used it to accent the other notes
Drop D and C play the same but C# sounds cleaner and the snares are nice and loose, just feels better especially on an acoustic. Me and my friend who taught me guitar just call it the 'Pro' tuning, because big bands use it Alot and it's easy to hear mistakes made on it.
The first one is drop c#. Drop d is when the rest of the guitar is in standard but the low e is tuned down a whole step.
DADAC#E is one of my favorites to use
what's the second song?? sounds soo good
Chandelier by Will Paquin. Definitely doesn't sound anything like in the video
@@Bakon yeah very unfortunate
If you're interested, it sounds like some Lo Borges/Milton Nascimento songs, especially reminds me of "Tudo que você podia ser" by Milton, you should check it out!
I like the way he played it it had a really interesting feel to it
All Apologies it's just too good
dude definitely the “bring the guitar and play non stop” guy at the party
B F# B F# B e, insanely heavy sounding but definitely a lot of fun to play around with
bro took one glance at a tab and made this video
Yeah... I stay on the struggle bus with standard tuning alone... And I have been playing 30 years. Maybe in a hundred years I will try a new one.
Soundgarden: Hahaha, my students are growing up.
bro just called drop C# drop D....
DAEAC#E and FACGCE Best tunings ever!!!
Drop C# is a cure to Writer's Block? Wow and thats the tuning I want to learn on my guitar and sampler keyboard. Thank Gosh White Zombie introduced me to Drop C#. Astro-Creep : 2000 :D Yeeeah
I play in A (with a baritone of course)
drop c# is goated because it's the rishloo tuning
id suggest CGDGBD tuning, which could technically be called Drop Open G (DGDGBD, low D dropped a whole step to C :) )
my fav tunings for acoustic are d a d f# g a, and
eadgae
i recommend D-standard-drop-A for anyone who wants to just djent out
I like the Yvette Young tuning the most
The chord you played before all apologies sounded like psycho killers opening chord
I’m happy to see this guy learning how to play guitar and I don’t wanna take anything away from that, but I’m really tired of people just hopping on an instrument and playing some easy chordage and then everyone in the comments saying it’s so good and insane and I’m just like bruh you’ve never played an instrument in your life if you think that’s hard. And the first tuning was drop c#
DAEAC#E is my favourite
DAEAC#E is a good one
DAEAC#E is THE midwest emo tuning
@@Marro245 that or FACGCE or DADF#BE
DAEAC#E is amazing, I really recommend it.
E#?
@@fleshrags wait C#
what else could i be , all apologies
Heres some more tunings
-CGCGBe or bring the high e down to D
-CGCgcd
-D# G# C# F g# d#
Standard with the d string replaced with a high e string tuned to d
-B F# C# F# a# d#
-Open C minor
-E B D# F# a# e
my favorite is drop, DROP D d tuned a whole ass octave down
does anybody know the second song name? i’ve heard it but can’t think of it
let me know if u find out i wanna know too
First is Drop C#
someone knows the name of the three songs he played?
Yeah
Yea!!?! Go clean your clam
Tuning: D A D F C E
Me: DAD FACE
The first tuning is Drop C#, I'm very confused
Lmao the man makes 1 typo and gets roasted for it. Meanwhile everyone complaining hasn't even graduated from beginners
If you want to write some easy death metal B standard is your go to
I personally play in D# so i’m one fret(half a step) downtuned.
I like ebeeab. It’s a weird one but just try it out.
One incredible song that is in drop D is everlong of the foo fighters
Only been playing for almost 9months, not too good yet bur my favorite tuning I’ve tried out before is D# standard
I like drop d but when I feel like smashing some heavy shit I go drop z tune all your strings down till there like elastic bands
💯
i recommend dadf#ae, and facgce
Does anyone know if his picking style has a name or reference for how to pick like that where it’s really loose but still precise with hitting the notes? Thanks!
I think you mean the funk style, I dont think it has a name, Frusciante uses it a lot. Basically say you wanna play just one note, you would fret the note eith one finger, and use your other fingers to mute the rest of the strings, and just strum like you're playing a chord. Kind of hard to explain in the comments, just check out Can't Stop, and just the guitar, you will get what I mean.
guys by now he obviously knows the difference, but by commenting on it, it boots his comments for the algorithm so more people see it lol pretty clever but sick playing overall
Drop D is D, A, D, G, B, E
Should've called the first one "Around the Fur" tuning to clear up any confusion haha
The first two are c# standard and d standard
Wish I could alternate tune my piano
Open c is perfection 😉
God damn this man is to clean on guitar
If you're stuck creatively, I don't think different tunings are going to help. If you can't write something in standard, dropping the E string down a tone isn't gonna change anything.
idk man i’ve come up with cool ideas in alternate tunings. sometimes you get so used to standard tuning and find yourself playing the same shit all the time. then when you change the tuning and have no clue what you’re doing, you find yourself playing some cool shit.
I like using facgce.
what else should i be?
ALL APOLOGIZES
all and all is all we are
if you like blues try Open D or Open G
What’s the first song?
All apologies by nirvana
Drop C D standart and Drop B are the best
All apologies is in drop C#
Bro says "Drop D" to trigger all the guitarist into commenting.
All the guitarists: "umm AyCsHuALlY"
