Another outstanding piece of work 112, thank you! I'm still on the fence on which country(Thailand or Vietnam) to retire in next year. I can't speak either language but at least I can read the signs in Vietnam (and that's huge). Housing is a little cheaper in Vietnam and I love their bread and street sandwiches but the girl's not as available. Also, the dong/dollar rates seem to be more stable. Any thoughts?
No extra services at the massage? Well, I heard that after the massage she asks for tip and you give it...you will get extra service. So it is backwards.
Gummint paid my tourist visa in 1970. 🤣 I used to have to drive down from Long Binh to the US Embassy (20 miles?) to get my guys passports for covert missions. The jeeps were open, of course, and as a new driver you learned very quickly to keep your watch on your right wrist. If you had it on your left and signaled a turn, the watch would disappear! 🤔
I want to try Vietnam 112 ..But i cant help thinking nothing is close by concerning nightlife ,food and of course company within walking distance ie a mile ,am i right ?
I miss those Banh Mi's and Pho....and cheap bear...and Vietnamese hospitality :) But for massages and "massages" i wouldn't waste my time here. Nowhere near as good as Thailand.
I watched a documentary about The Weather Underground available on Amazon Prime, and throughout, I could not help from wondering, what if the United States, in the spirit of 1776 had supported the efforts of Ho Chi Minh, to throw off the choking yoke of French colonialism, and the many lives that could have been spared, instead of supporting a colonial power and a by gone governance and era that is now on the trash heap of history…
Edmund Singleton: That's all he asked. We asked him to harass the Japanese in WWII, and he did that well. We could have returned the favor when he came to us before he went to the Soviets.

very few Hogs or other large motorcycles. impractical in the crowded city streets and uses too much gas. Hondas and similar are vastly popular.
