Morissette has an extensive vocal range which is greatly connected. She is always at ease every time her voice shifts to another vocal state, very smooth transitions perhaps. This girl is markedly considered as a gifted singer, she is a genius to her own instrument - her voice. That control alone in her voice, NOT TO MENTION those complicated technical and emotional stuffs, separates her to those singers na puro birit lang ang pinaglalaban. You know who they are. And I declare, this girl should be treasured in the Philippines' Music Industry. Because I know, she'll make names in the entire universe!

De'Jhaun, that's what I've been saying, bruh. If she gets featured in a song with Jay-Z, Em, Usher, JT, etc. she will blow up instantly here in the states. She has the physique, the incredible voice, and a humble attitude to go far and wide. I don't know if she's holding herself back, or if it's something else. Whatever the case may be, she needs to step up and take the opportunity.
She is a really a special gift to all of us, Filipinos.

Blame Zande i have not hesrd nina in her prime doing whistle as high and as clean as Mori. If Nina is good at it, why was she lost in the spotlight. Nina's song are good though.

WOow! ... Four octaves, 2 notes, and a semitone. What a wide range. I've been watching her live videos, and she always has me FLOORED! She is amazing. Her riffs, runs, dynamics, intentional vocal breaks, whistle tones, upper belts, growls, her melismatic control. She is definitely the new diva of the Philippines.. I notice a lot of the clips you used in this video weren't even her best performances, you could have chosen better clips for the notes but its okay. I know how hard it is to make a vocal range video so this is good enough. Thank you. I love Mori

Morissette has such a beautiful voice i have ever heard after mariah carey. She still has a lot of room to improve for her low notes. Her belts, especially her mid belt is such a beautiful, full, clear & smooth unlike other belters whose belts can make your ears bleed. Please, dont overuse your vocal range as it may hurts and damage your vocal cords. Do limit you belting up to G#5, sustained belts to F#5 as i dont want her voice to be gone way too soon. But ofcourse, if you are feeling good then you can always belt higher for the sake of the song (not to show off), but never push yourself if you dont feel like it. I like how her vocal register is connected. That she was able to bring down her whistle tone up to Eb5, although it most likely produced in her headvoice register, yet the tone was retained in that way. Transition from chest/mixed belts to headvoice still can be improved until it is smooth and unnoticeable, where people wonder if its in chest/mixed or if it is in head. Wow!
Yeah I was shock that she can reach an E5 and Eb5 note using whistle register O.O
yeah she could improve but i don't think it could be as low as mariah's coz unlike mariah who is naturally an alto that can reach high, morissette is a naturally higher (mezzo soprano to soprano) so we cannot expect her low notes to be as good as mariah. she is much more effortless in the higher tones than the lower tones. her edge with mariah i believe is the ease with some higher tones. she's more comfortable going up.
you may check her wish fm against all odds and diamante she did great w her low registers
Top Tripper i know she's good. nothing is really bad. but she's naturally higher than an alto so she's more effortless in higher registers.

Hindi ko alam yang mga vocal range basta ang alam ko yung boses ni Morissette Amon ang pinakamasarap sa tenga at kahit na anong genre ay swabe sa tenga.
I wish I could go higher with my chest voice. Because I am a bass I can only force up to a A#4. My highest sustained falsetto note is A5 but can force C6. My lowest chest voice sustained is A#1 and lowest growl is D1. Subharmonic register is down to C#1 and my firebreathing goes to C1. For some reason my fry is higher than my growls...

Uh.. Even her C3 is just a whisper. It's probably impossible for her to hit a G2, it too low for mori. Her supported low note is at E3, where she dont have to lower her larynx and it resonates.:)
