Will do!!!
You guys are such a good team! Tim's got the know how but every time I was lost jenn asked the exact question I needed. Loved this vid!!!
Loved the video! It is like the videos that you used to do a couple of years ago when I started following your vlog. Those videos were one of the reasons that I started vlogging to begin with. Please make more like this, they are very interesting!
NICE VIDEO! The split screen showing the two camera's images was a great touch. I've got a few old cameras around here.....
TIM YOU ARE THE MAN! seriously have taught me so much about random things i didn't know. from fixing an AC, fixing a window, changing brakes etc
😊
This was awesome. I love these DIY videos.
This is so interesting. As always your commentary is fun and informative. Thanks!
like a game of operation. like your magnetic tools, Tim!
ooh, also the optical image stabilization on that IR camera is really good!
Wow dude that's super awesome! I never thought it would actually work. You guys are amazing! :0
And capacitors can hold a charge even when there are no batteries are present. Not saying how I know but your first guess would guess probably be right,
Awesome video, I agree that you should do more DIY videos. I keep breaking my cameras before getting a new one, or else I would definitely try this!
Cool, liking the DIY job there, well impressed. Have to remember this one.
Tim just preformed camera heart surgery!!! Doctor Tim...
That's pretty cool Tim!!
I finally understand the role of the illuminators, cool project
Your wife was clutch!
She asked all the right questions.
Never make a video without her.
it works perfectly. I had at home same old camera as on video and i made my own IR cam. it took for me 15 min. Thank you for video
Now you can start your own online Ghost Adventures videos haha
that was a much better video than most. great job sir
Great tutorial! Thanks!!
Btw, love your Homer Simpson wall clock! 😂
Meant to tell you that the footage inside the Temple during Jingle Cruise was the best I have seen so far. The contrast and color were really good and could see much more in the dark. Thanks.
now this is one totally cool vid , thanx folks and happy trails (that's wild west talk)
Super enjoyed this tech video Tim!!
That was so interesting!! Really love this kind of thing, it was like an episode of "How it works" , brilliant! Thanks for making this video. :-)
You are very welcome!
Tim! Awesome damn project. Thanks for the vid and the share. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm wanting to build a unit which I can use on my rifle scope for night ratting. This is easier than most other tutorials I've seen. Tx
Excellent job, Tim's so clever.
Pretty slick.Great video.Thanks
it's cool you know how to do this. it went way over my head but I still liked the vlog. thanks guys! :)
😊
This is awesome guys! I was super impressed when you used your night vision at Shallow Grave, super excited to see some cool stuff on the new camera!

Aww you guys put my painting by Homer!! :) I loved this DIY video - very cool stuff!! :)
Super cool stuff Tim

Great video on an interesting subject. Explained very well. I subbed.
and great job on the reassembly !!! i gotta use precision tweezers and jewellers head light for what you did. good job.
This is awesome! I really want a night vision camera for filming in the bridge on night passages
Helpful. Definitely ll try on my Casio camera. Thanks!
Tim is high as hell in this video :D
Stay smooth pimpin bruh
Omg your moustache is freaking awesome
the video with the night vision reminded me of one of those ghost hunting shows lol
Tim is like a tech nerd like me!! LOVE IT!!!!
Heck yea!!!
+TheTimTracker please give me a camera that you made address 12 18 road mirpur POLLABI DHAKA
I'm digging that stache!!!! Wild Bill Hickok!!!!
this was great video i learn lots it going to help me hopeful film stuff better at sports events and concert that go to with my family and friends so thank you Tim.
Now this is a night vision goggle, better than the ones on youtube
I feel like most people should not be messing with this. you are on a level above the rest of us Tim.
Hehe, I say if you have an old camera you are ok with breaking I say go for it! That's the way I learned.
never know when your going to need to use this bit of information. oh wait... zombie apocalypse.
now THAT IS AWESOMENESS!
Wow!..Very cool indeed..Wish I were that smart!
Nice vid. I usually use various size tweezers; careful of the sharp tweezer edges of course, to help with difficult ribbon cables like those.
Now you got yourself a "all light" camera. You can play around by taking pictures in sunlight, with different external filters, like UV and even filters that will only allow IR or UV through. You can get some crazy effects with that.
Is that mustache REAL!? lol thanks for the vid. :) very educational.
That was so cool. You should do more videos like that.
Will do!
Very cool :) Now to tear apart all my old cameras.... :D
First like again! Love u guys! Thanks for the awesome videos!
Excellent work!
I love this! Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome!!!
this was awesome!! i learned a lot!!! kudos to you, every time I try to operate on a camera, it's pretty much the end of its life!
I wanna make one now :)
There is another camera we have that didn't make it through this operation!
@@TheTimTracker What kind of canon?
I guess it's pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new movies online?
@Moses Thiago I use flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Jesiah Tyson Yup, been watching on FlixZone for months myself :D
Excellent camera configuration. Loved the Vlog Have a great day :)
Thank you!
Tim I enjoy watching videos where your fixing things, there was a older vlogg where you were at a rental home at the beach and you fixed the washer, i admire you ability to fix things, i try to fix stuff around my house but usually just cause more problems :/ wahh wahh wahhhh
I have my dad to thank for being able to fix things. He taught me so much!
That's really cool and really cool that u know how to do it.
Thanks!!!
That was very interesting.
So I just tried this with our Nikon Coolpix S3600. It was very simple to take apart, didn't even need to unhook the cable ribbons. It still seems to work fine and can see the infrared lights now. Only took me about 20 minutes. Our is only a 720p camera but it will work fine for us. Thanks so much for posting this!! Now to make or buy an infrared flashlight.
Oh, and keep up the awesome work, we love your videos and look forward to seeing them everyday!!
Glad your back guys
It's good to be back!
Just at the end when your wife asked if you needed the lights to make it night visiable, you said yes but thats not true-ish, it should still pick up any IR emitting object, like a BODY! I was hoping you'd point it at either of your faces, would love to have seen how well it would work like that.
Very Cool, I did not know those cameras has an IR filter, gonna dig up an old one and try your experiment!
very interesting, went right over my head, you lost me at , unscrew back, but enjoyed it.
That bit near the end when you showed us the camera working in night vision, as you opened bedroom door, was so like a ghost hunters show we get over here. They investigate old houses, and scream alot, its a reality show, not a drama.
+janet ovens Some people have a higher brain capacity than a 5 year old... Not you. Sad world
Tip: Some smart phones don't have an IR filter. Another idea for IR light is a black reptile heat bulb. Not the most ideal light source but it does work.
came for the camera, stay for the moustache
specially now that im watching westworld
Great stash bro!
Very cool!!!! Thanks for sharing
You are welcome!
I've done this with a few cameras now to convert them to infrared camers and the glass you're removing is an infrared pass filter, so if you replace this glass with an infrared filter you then have a camera that will do infrared.
Dang! Dang! Dang! This is super cool!!!!
How does Tim know all this? Super impressive!
Thanks for the instructions
Stay curious my friend. You will always be learning.
So true. :)
for getting the large ribbon cable back in you can attach a peice of tape and the pull it into the holder, if that makes sense :P
do you know if there is a way to adapt lenses to that sensor? it would be a really fun diy video
That’s cool...thank you!!
That's great x
very interesting video. this way will a lot of money on expensive night vision equipment. thanks
I really want that mustache
waking up your stairs was super scary what if you saw a ghost! Reminds me of that scene from Insidious
Great stash! I really appreciate you showing us how easy it really is to have night vision for only a few bucks.
Now I've had night vision products over the years since about 2005. And I have tried a few different setups. Now with that said , please people be careful.
Night vision is not all that it seems. As soon as you turn it on you give away position.
You light up like a Christmas tree and you just turned on a very powerful flashlight and anyone else with NV will see you coming a kilometer away.
You need a passive way to see in the dark. Thermal binoculars give off no infrared light and they operate on the principle of temperature. Anything that radiates any type of thermal signature can be passively monitored. You can see them long before they see you.
When I go out at night to practice locating a target I use a small unidirectional and a homemade parabolic microphones.
Sound is very tricky at night especially around heavy rock and water. By practising a little it won't take long for you to become highly proficient at night time range finding and location.
That's how I do it and keeping my couple of friends sharp so when the time comes they too can protect their families and get the hell out of Dodge before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
Cry Freedom!
I love the "Homer" clock!
this is so cool you are very good UK
Where did you get the screwdriver set from and what kind/name is it ?. I am looking for similar for tiny screws. I have a 4 set here but still not small enough. Also Tim, where did you get those infared lights from ? and do they reach a long distance ?, many thanks.
hi mate what you think about doing that to night shooting it will work with some T20 touch
That was a pretty sweet diy. I'm gonna try that with an old canon ca,era that I have. Hope it works out as well as yours.
Good luck!
So cool
Wow,you are really good at what you are doing.
Thank you!
Where can I find those kind of infrared lights you got there? I want those lol
Alright let's take this bad boy on space mountain that b awesome
+TheTimTracker where did you get the infrared lights from?
im 15 and have common knowledge of electronics and often repair my broken electronics and even solder new earbuds on old bluetooth headphones. i made one of thes night vision cameras because i was bored but actually in my state when i was like 5 i bought a genuine pair of night vision goggles from Toys R Us and still have them. ive never seen real goggles sold there since.
I find that hard to believe. how much were these so called genuine nvg's?
Cool vid , thanks for sharing
You are very welcome!
I swear I was amazed to realise that the mustache wasnt a fake/joke one... LMAO
i really enjoyed this.
Thanks!
Cool Tim! You can have ghost adventures now. :D
ryley. you should change your name to baiter.

Thank you!
Very informative video, but I was distracted by the stash and had to notify the lame beard enforcement. They should be contacting shortly.
