I love "Walk In New York." That shit stayed bumping in my walkman. Fall '95.
Sticky is dropping a new solo album called TIME (The Illest Man Ever) in a month or two. Here's one of the songs: ruclips.net/video/xsT51eLgxkE/видео.html
I was at this show at the House of Blues in Hollywood. I think it was back in early 96 before "All Eyez On Me" was Released. Everyone was there that night, EPMD, Das Efx, Special Ed, Son Doobie, members of The Pharcyde...the energy was bonkers. In between performances I ran into Keith Murray who had about 3 beers tucked in the pocket of his letterman jacket. Anyway, Onyx did perform "Walk In NY" and the entire place went crazy when that song came on. I was on the 2nd floor looking down at the stage....Sticky climbed up the speakers, Fredro threw water at the crowd, dudes starting throwing water back...then a few water bottles and Fredro and Sticky threw them back lol. It was insane, one of the best Hip Hop shows I ever went to. When Pac showed up it was in between performances...he just mobbed in with at least 15-20 people deep. I ended up saying whats up to him real quick and literally a few min later Keith Murray got into it with Pac. Dope show and times.
FromTheGroundUnda I wish I was as lucky to experience a big part of history like that. 👏 💯 #respect
Reezy it's crazy when I think of all the shows I went to, artists I met etc. I was doing promotions at the time and that was literally me getting my foot in the door of the music industry back then. Funny thing is fast forward to 2002 I became friends w Sticky and hung out w him and Fredro at their studio out in LA a few times. Def mad cool and some funny stories w them.
That's sick, I remember that time, wish I was there to witness it.
dont nobody know u lol stfu
FromTheGroundUnda Keith Murray is always getting into it with somebody. That nigga stayed brawling.
We need a ONYX MOVIE!!!!
Word 💯🔥
Strapped ?
St. Laz for real man
Sticky Fingaz released a few independent movies that's pretty good. But yeah an ONYX biopic movie would be amazing
This needs to happen!
Onyx is the definition of hardcore hiphop! Point blank!
Maddog Mcgraw m.o.p? mobb deep?
Jason Kamara I love them 2 don't get me wrong
In my opinion tekashi is using that onyx aggressive style..
ADMAFIA210 yeah similar energy just shit lyrics
dauksz 69 says he was influenced by dmx..but i hear onyx...shit lyrics need to get flushed
I performed at that House of Blues show back then. Onyx, Keith Murray, Redman and Das Efx performed that night. I got to meet Tupac who was there talking with Kurupt. I met JMJ after I got off stage. The night was lit for real. Our crew and Young Murder Squad we're the only West coast groups that performed that night. Violet Brown pulled some strings and got us on that night.
Charles Jackson That’s dope. I wish I coulda have seen Pac when he was alive and JMJ too for that matter. I was 10 when Pac passed. My cousin who lives in L.A. ran into Pac twice. Once at a red light and he waved at my cousin when he was in his convertible 500 Mercedes and once in the club. Pac was always out and about interacting with people. If you knew the spots to hangout at in the 90s it wasn’t actually *that* hard to run into Pac lol Kendrick Lamar saw him at the “California Love” video shoot as a young kid and Jim Jones saw him as a young teenager while Pac was just walking thru Harlem. This is obviously before either of them blew up and became famous rappers.....
That's lit bro!Wish I was a lil older at that time lol
Aye bro any idea how to get some songs from young murder squad ??
@@Flipp87 apple music or RUclips music. You can buy the downloads or stream their songs.

I was at that show too when KRS ONE threw PM Dawn off the stage. I literally just walked thru the door. I was about 15 years old too. At first I didn't know what was going on. All I saw was KRS throw dude from PM dawn off the stage and then grab the mic! Then KRS DJ mushed PM Dawn DJ out the way and deboed the turntables. He threw their records somewhere and then threw KRS record on the turntables and KRS just started going in! The crowd went fuckin wild! It looked like it was part of the show how swift and accurate they timed it! It looked like Pirates taking over a ship lol! It was wild.
I love the fact ,sticky is so real , never holds back ,they are some of the best all time
Wanna be scared ? Go to 1:58

Fredro you look pretty much the same after 25 years since strapped. Wow. Whats your secret bro?
Both of them
Charlie Melanin is resistant to the sun... and his diet is probably good.
No facial hair or hair period. Barely anyway..
He was always young looking to begin with (he's never looked his age).
Kory Green + Not so much the melanin, but yeah, a good diet helps, plus not having a hard life, as well as genes.
Love these two lol
2Pac reaction during the performance was priceless during that time , he still had the Thug ill type mentality
Pac was and will always have been from NYC.
Don’t forget Jam Master Jay almost shot LLCoolJ in Krush Groove 🤣🤣🤣

Icee he was but thts some bipolar shit but he was a gemini so
Icee Pac never hated New York. He disliked the rappers that he felt interfered with him and Big’s situation.
@@richcollins4208 lol im a gemini and im not bipolar
@@richcollins4208 He was human dumb ass. No person feels the same always, people grow and change if given the opportunity. You haven't walked in that man's shoes to say such an empty statement.
I believe Fredro said it the same way he just did ryt now haha
They never mention the time big syke approached them at a show, pac did say there was no beef but syke said who shot my home boy

A lot of people got robbed outside The Tunnel. The place attracted a lot of vics.
Yoo sticky on that yeyo!! Look at his face and twitching and shit. He mosdefinately on caine or something, maybe thats why fredo wont let him talk that much and seems annoyed by his comments
El Chele he’s al been like that
He don’t sniff cocaine killa, he sniff gunpowder!
I miss Onyx man, super dope.
Did you check out their shit with Snowgoons?
The good old days
Hoody is fire
Vlad should've asked what exactly happened at the House of Blues that night with Pac. I hear something popped off but I'm curious of what EXACTLY happened.
The story is Pac stepped to Murray bc he thought Keith's verse on LL's "I Shot Ya" Remix was about him.. Murray said it wasn't, words were exchanged, and it was all over quick. That's the story I heard years ago..
Tupac said him and big syke r.i.p went to that show and Syke confronted them but no one ever brings it up
Underground hip hop for life forever forever for always New York East Coast West Coast peace and love
Sticky is the original cray cray
Wish they would get back together all of them
