Nice video. Thanks for the real world data. I recently picked up a 35mm summilux in Tokyo after buying the LLL 35mm summicron v1 replica last year (which has been great).
The first photo was stunning! Where did you scan it? I use the same 35mm ASPH lens and the scans I get from Kamera no Kitamura and Sanpou Kamera are awful. Good job guys! It feels like shooting with you while walking.
This doesn't tell us a whole lot, a little more scientific approach would help. I'm not saying you should be shooting test charts, but at least shoot the same scene for a side-by-side comparison. Preferably using a tripod, same camera, same film and simply switching the lenses.
...truly disappointing video with very little substance. Waste of time, if I'm going to be honest - I say this as a true lover of Leica glass (through the ages).

Nice! I like how you matched the look of the video with the pictures somehow. Is the classic Summicron the Type 1 version?
Thanks for this. The vid helped me stop the itch on trading my 35 summicron asph to a v3/v4... for now
V4 the way to go bro
I’m very interested in a comparison with v1 versus v2 28mm on a m10m. Anyone?
Hi thank you very much, I know there is a hype out there and just show me that and thank you for this.
Very nice and nicely presented. Greetings from Singapore.
Love it!!!
Great video. Entertaining. Thank you. RS. Canada
I wish I could afford the- oh wait i can't afford ANY summicrons
i do see a difference on color rendering , for color i would prefer the asph

I guess I am pretty off topic but does anyone know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?
@Ishaan Dane I use Flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
@Gary Samir Yea, been watching on FlixZone for months myself :)
@Gary Samir Thank you, I signed up and it seems to work =) Appreciate it!
@Ishaan Dane you are welcome :D
Ive used various Summicrons. The best one is the Summilux ASPH.
I have the V2 (6 element) and love it!
Looking for Glass for my MP... I think the Lux people like for film and the Cron the rendering is better for digital.

Yea the photos looked good.. but I can’t understand why the most immediate logic wasn’t to shoot the same scenes with the two lenses.
Yeah. Major fail.
Nice!!
Hey very nice ;)
