- Ed Greenwood is a Canadian writer, game designer, actor, scriptwriter, and librarian who created The Forgotten Realms fantasy setting. He also bears a striking resemblance to Elminster of Shadowdale. His 450-plus books have sold over 60 million copies worldwide in 40+ languages.
