@@30hours51 That’s exactly why I said I’d still go for a Guilia ;) Also I’m a little biased. I had a Quadrifoglio that I traded in for a Ghibli Trofeo- so I’ve been spoiled by Italian cars for the last couple of years. Coming from a BMW (the F80 M3), I enjoyed practically everything about the driving the Italian cars more than their German counterpart. I have never driving a Jag, but from what I’ve heard, they’re not necessarily know for being a driver centric brand- rather more of a luxury brand. That being said, here’s why an older and slightly wiser version of myself would choose a Project 8: 1) I could daily it. What's cool about the Alfa is that they developed the Quadrofoglio first and then made the regular version, making it the one of the best handling sedans you can buy.

Very solid performance given the wildly different nature of the two cars. One was bred for track use, the other is a track focused street car. Obviously there are some massive differences between the two, but the Giulia held its own against such a monster of a car! I’m very impressed!
1. I think you need a pro driver 2. Flying lap is a mistake 3. Where on earth at this moment is cold enough to wear long trousers and pulover like the stopwatch guy?
Track battle between a car you can buy and one you can't. Pointless. People are offering £100K+ on top to buy peoples allocations for the GT3 meaning genuine Porsche enthusiasts simply can't buy one. These video's just depress the heck out of me (but I still watch them cos I love Mat......)
Also, if people don't know 1.5 sec around a short track (46 sec. to make a lap) is huge. It might not seem like a lot but it is on such a short track. Put both cars on a longer track and you can multiply that 1.5 sec. by a lot. But I don't think anyone really though the Giulia stood a chance against the Porsche in the first place. .

Also you have a video where you time a standard Giulia Quadrifoglio 0-60mph and manage 3.8 seconds.
Bad day Matt?
In that case, Steve Sutcliffe in 911 would make the time around 40s, Alfa at 911 is a shit
Cant wait until the new GT2RS comes out
They aren’t doing a gt2rs this generation
@@freddiejones4598 of course yes:)
Apparently they are making a hybrid 911 flagship this time
Very solid performance given the wildly different nature of the two cars. One was bred for track use, the other is a track focused street car. Obviously there are some massive differences between the two, but the Giulia held its own against such a monster of a car! I’m very impressed!
solid performance?? losing 1,5 sec on a track that short and only fitting 2 people, 4.3 sec to 60 and you pay that ridiculous price?? 😂😂
If I was loaded I'd have the GTAm for track days, the QV as a daily and the Stelvio QV for long trips.
1. I think you need a pro driver
2. Flying lap is a mistake
3. Where on earth at this moment is cold enough to wear long trousers and pulover like the stopwatch guy?
every track in the world is timed with a flying lap
Cold enough anywhere in Blighty (UK) this summer
It's like putting a Bomber putting it into a dogfight with a Fighter!

"If you're thinking about buying a new phone, buy a samsung"
will soon be part of the intro😂
We want more track comparison content like this
Done a couple of track days at Llandow, quite enjoy that little circuit. That Alfa something else too!
Matt started yelling with the GT3's RPMs as if it had VTEC in it
Would be nice to be able to hear the engines for a solid two seconds without all the nervous babble
Sure I knew Whose Gonna Win!
CLASSIC PORSCHE FOR THE WIN ☺️
Always bruh 😁
I love these videos. 👍
Edit: I'm I the only person who thinks the front left break is glowing 7:02
*ALFA IS A MASTERPIECE GROWING ITS VALUE YEAR BY YEAR!*
We want more track test like this!!! Drag races are poinless
Everything in Alfie crackles as if it were to fall apart ... As you can see
it's the Italian quality :)
Don’t forget that you’re comparing a sportscar to a saloon car. The Alfa is the real winner😉
Alfa is a true sleeper. Looks like hardcore tuned sedan performs like Porsche GT3. The only issue is 4 doors and 2 seats =)
108mph - 0mph
89m Porsche
87m Alfa Romeo
Did you forget this one?
at this point Mat might aswell be sponsored by samsung!
Should've had Alex doing the driving for you, he's basically a racing driver :D
Jeremy Clarkson would've loved the alfa romeo.
2021, carwow 6 mio subscriber .. still clocking lap times by hand 🤣
Still prefer the Alfa
well your taste is not something to be desired
I gotta say the alfa looks insane, but the performance for that price is really not satisfactory 🤔
It's saloon probably way heavier than gt3
@@karahanemre make it more powerful, its literally just the stock engine
@@shmurdabob9315 the alfa is ugly
@@Anttihii Alfa is goofy looking after all years

Oh my Gosh, for a sec I thought Mat was wearing an underware on his face😂😂
Haha same
Giulia ♥️
Also, if people don't know 1.5 sec around a short track (46 sec. to make a lap) is huge. It might not seem like a lot but it is on such a short track. Put both cars on a longer track and you can multiply that 1.5 sec. by a lot. But I don't think anyone really though the Giulia stood a chance against the Porsche in the first place. .
