Given how brilliant Dimash is and how much he cares I, frankly, would be surprised if he hasn't stepped up his command of English game! Actually in Your Love he also sings wrong vowels and when people point it out doesn't mean they don't love him. I think he deserves better teacher. As I commented earlier, why nobody tells him you can't sing 'e love you'. it's i love you. Is it really that hard?

Four years ago he barely could speak English since he is from Kazakhstan, he is fluent with Russian and Kazakh only. Nowadays his English has improved a lot (Golden, Across Endless Dimensions, We are One). But even then it doesn’t take away his artistry in this performance. What a great voice with many combination techniques.

Great reaction. We understand your point with respect to Dimash's pronunciation. Don't worry, we take it as a constructive criticism which I think will help Dimash to work harder on that aspect. In his latest interview with Kevan of MTV USA, he displayed a lot of improvement with his English, in fact he managed to answer all the questions in English. Having now the ability to speak the language, I am sure good pronunciation will follow.
This was in spring 2017. All Dimash knew how to say then was "Hi, my name is Dimash". He sings in 12 languages. His English is quite good now. He did his first interview without and interpreter with MTV last month. We (his Dears) called it Dinglish. He pronounced Great as GREEEET at his concert in NY...watch "Creator of the Universe" video. I think he did it last year 2020 for a movie....and "Screaming" he did in 2018.
Just to advise you, this video was early in Dimash's life when he was first discovered, he spoke almost no English yet did a great job in singing, switch to current time and he can now do interviews with interpreter and his pronunciation has drastically improved. As you said you have to be careful what you say as some Dimash fans will attack you; but I think most of that is because his fans speak so many different languages, as they are from all over the world and get mixed messages about what you are trying to say. You probably did not understand his developing of language skills, I speak several languages myself and I can see his improvement in French, English and Italian, and his Russian and Kazakh are his natural languages, and I hear his Chinese is improving and he is trying to learn Korean. I get attacked sometimes myself as fans hear something different than what I say and miss my meaning or something, I find it best to just go on and not worry about it. But, they should be respectful for I think Dimash would not be fond of such actions.

I've been watching Dimash for 3 years now. I can not get over each time I watch his videos, no matter how many times I see the same songs, I am just completely arrested by how intensely beautiful he is physically along with the beauty and power and thrilling tone qualities of his voice. Respected voice teacher WE ALL AGREE dimash is nearly perfect except for his english so any help would be welcomed. Remember he sings in 9 different languages and plays 12 different instruments and HIS BORN WITH PERFECT pitch so obviously he will have a weakness and its clear english is not his strong suit so yep. He has a masters in music and still studying for doctor and age 24 so he is still growing and improving but its glad to know he already mastered the IMPORTANT stuff so diction is something very minor which can be easily learned
@***t ***s stay calm. The point the vocal coach was saying is his pronunciation could be better. Dimash is sing in English, so pronunciation is a factor. It's not a big deal, the coach was just giving us his professional opinion. I myself like Dimash accent, it makes him unique in my opinion. I also understand vocal coaches are trying to give their opinion and even though I disagree with them, I think positively correct them would only encourage them to make more videos of Dimash to spread to around the world. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. These are slavish languages. People who speak Slavic languages find English a difficult language to speak. He understands the language much better than he speaks it. This video is about 4 years old. Dimash speaks English better now but he still has a ways to go. His sister speaks and understands it better because she probably learned it in school. 😊

Yeah on this show he didn’t know English at all and only had the week to learn the songs and so he did the best he could and he had some what I call “dinglish” :) He’s been learning English and so I doubt he’ll make these kinds of mistakes anymore, I actually miss it in his later English recordings that are much more perfect
When Dimas sang this he didn’t speak English. He had to learn this song in 1 week (phonetically), so considering; it was acceptable. But since, he’s learning English, and is somewhat conversational. You can see his improvement in a more recent song: Stranger. I’m sure you can find it on his YT channel. BTW the “g” in his last name is a hard g as in Google. Great reaction. Dimash's English is improving as we speak. Three years ago when he sang this song he could barely speak a few words of English. Recently I listened to an interview which he did entirely in English and he amazed me. I would venture to predict that an encore to this song by him would entirely efface your comment on his enunciation.

This was the competition in 2017 he was invited to China as a wild card to compete with established professional singers and he was 22 years old and the youngest contestant there. He became a star overnight after he sang SOS which was the first song he sang in this competition.

You are absolutely right about his English, but at the time he did not speak English at all. Now he is quite proficient and his pronunciation is almost perfect.
You have to remember that this was a performance done 4 years ago. He was beginning to learn english and this song was performed only by learning the lyrics phonetically. He has studied english (as well as mandarin) since then he's way better now. Actually in Your Love he also sings wrong vowels and when people point it out doesn't mean they don't love him. I think he deserves better teacher. As I commented earlier, why nobody tells him you can't sing 'e love you'. it's i love you. Is it really that hard?

His name has a hard G like in Egg, not Edge. The Queen Meddly is available on Instagram. This performance is 4 years old, he couldn't speak English then but now in 2021 things are different. His English is great, he doesn't need an interpreter now. He still needs to improve to be fluent but his sung English is good now 💖

Great reaction. We understand your point with respect to Dimash's pronunciation. Don't worry, we take it as a constructive criticism which I think will help Dimash to work harder on that aspect. In his latest interview with Kevan of MTV USA, he displayed a lot of improvement with his English, in fact he managed to answer all the questions in English. Having now the ability to speak the language, I am sure good pronunciation will follow.

This was in spring 2017. All Dimash knew how to say then was "Hi, my name is Dimash". He sings in 12 languages. His English is quite good now. He did his first interview without and interpreter with MTV last month. We (his Dears) called it Dinglish. He pronounced Great as GREEEET at his concert in NY...watch "Creator of the Universe" video. I think he did it last year 2020 for a movie....and "Screaming" he did in 2018.
Just to advise you, this video was early in Dimash's life when he was first discovered, he spoke almost no English yet did a great job in singing, switch to current time and he can now do interviews with interpreter and his pronunciation has drastically improved. As you said you have to be careful what you say as some Dimash fans will attack you; but I think most of that is because his fans speak so many different languages, as they are from all over the world and get mixed messages about what you are trying to say. You probably did not understand his developing of language skills, I speak several languages myself and I can see his improvement in French, English and Italian, and his Russian and Kazakh are his natural languages, and I hear his Chinese is improving and he is trying to learn Korean. I get attacked sometimes myself as fans hear something different than what I say and miss my meaning or something, I find it best to just go on and not worry about it. But, they should be respectful for I think Dimash would not be fond of such actions.

I can not get over each time I watch his videos, no matter how many times I see the same songs, I am just completely arrested by how intensely beautiful he is physically along with the beauty and power and thrilling tone qualities of his voice. Respected voice teacher WE ALL AGREE dimash is nearly perfect except for his english so any help would be welcomed. Remember he sings in 9 different languages and plays 12 different instruments and HIS BORN WITH PERFECT pitch so obviously he will have a weakness and its clear english is not his strong suit so yep. He has a masters in music and still studying for doctor and age 24 so he is still growing and improving but its glad to know he already mastered the IMPORTANT stuff so diction is something very minor which can be easily learned

It's not a big deal, the coach was just giving us his professional opinion. I myself like Dimash accent, it makes him unique in my opinion. I find ppl with more than 2 languages appreciate the enormous effort to learn another language so I can relate to your protection of Dimash. I also understand vocal coaches are trying to give their opinion and even though I disagree with them, I think positively correct them would only encourage them to make more videos of Dimash to spread to around the world. Yep, Dimash is the first person who would say he needs to improve his English. I think he said he didn't feel he did good enough in this song at the end of the episode (this was in a singing competition in China 2017)
He's been working really hard on his English. He couldn't speak English at all back then, now he can give interviews in English without an interpreter. We're so proud of his hard work 🤗. Of course, the accent is still there, hahaha, we adoringly call it "Dinglish" 🤣

Almost Every English speaking expect a perfect English from him while just two words of his name is a challenge for them.... a paradox.... he did not speak it by this time. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. These are slavish languages. People who speak Slavic languages find English a difficult language to speak. He understands the language much better than he speaks it. This video is about 4 years old. Dimash speaks English better now but he still has a ways to go. His sister speaks and understands it better because she probably learned it in school. 😊
His English in so much improved now in 2023. I think he is not just an amazing singer, but kind of a genius in this realm of music.

Yeah on this show he didn’t know English at all and only had the week to learn the songs and so he did the best he could and he had some what I call “dinglish” :) He’s been learning English and so I doubt he’ll make these kinds of mistakes anymore, I actually miss it in his later English recordings that are much more perfect
This was 4 years ago. His English (and French) has been improved a lot ever since.
When Dimas sang this he didn’t speak English. He had to learn this song in 1 week (phonetically), so considering; it was acceptable. But since, he’s learning English, and is somewhat conversational. You can see his improvement in a more recent song: Stranger. I’m sure you can find it on his YT channel. BTW the “g” in his last name is a hard g as in Google. Great reaction. Love that you don’t interrupt his songs to comment, and IF you have to, go back a bit and re-start as transitions matter! Have “liked” all 3 of your Dimash clips. Didn’t care for the constant interruptions in S.O.S, but then you got it, as I knew you would! Being Dimashified changes one :-)))
