OMG I LOVE this video....first of all bullharrier is excited, and great to listen to. I LOVE how he says OHKAY at the end of everything. So helpful, wonderful and great to listen to......thanks for posting you helped me out a great deal!!!!!
I'm a nursing student, and might proceed to medicine, and this vid, help me a lot! thank God there are still people like you, make more vid about anatomy and physiology, i will view this vid, every time i need a review :-) from: philippines
@jazzdanca59 You are very welcome, I'm glad you found this useful. Keep working hard and don't worry, there were concepts that didn't start coming to me until after I took the class myself, just stay persistent.
Thank you so much for helping me understand anatomy. since i found your site I have recieved an A and B on exams. i do study, but you make it to where we as students can understand it.
You are amazing Ive been watching your videos all semister and I'm doing great! I really thank and appreciate you for taking the time to make these videos!
@tinankidds Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad these videos helped you make sense of the information. I will be making plenty more so keep checking back in
Love your videos. We were taught that muscle fibers and myofibrils are different. Specifically that muscle fibers are the muscle cells and myofibrils are the cylindrical fibers containing the actin and myocin (among other things) within the muscle fiber. Now I am confused.
Again, thank you for very much for this lecture. I really did learn a lot, and I hope you continue to create these wonderful videos that help everyone through this usually dry material.
Thank you very much,it was a truly formative lesson.i have few Q: at min 26~ your talking about inverse relation of capillaries and the muscle growth, kindly explain me which part of the muscle cell gets bigger (the thick filaments or the thin filaments), also as you mentioned, what causes the muscle to break down[which part of it] and the body to re build them again
each time I start on a new chapter, I always type in the search bar on youtube 'bullharrier 'insert topic title here' your lectures are sooo much easier to understand than textbooks and even my own lecturer. My lecturer holds a PhD but he's no where as clear as you. May I ask sir, out of curiosity what your highest qualifications are? Not that it matters, but I just want to thank you for making these videos, they're helping society for sure i'll tell you that!
Thank you this was very informative. I sometimes have trouble accessing my schools recorded lectures at home and this was exactly what I needed 2 review for a test.
55:03 "oh man what the hell" lol. i love the way you describe the primary proteins in contraction. regarding the I band, isn't it the 1/2I band on either side rather than I band on either side? and lastly, under what would you classify the visceral striated muscle for example the tongue?
hey aaron, thank you for these videos. I am actually on my med proper and ur lecture videos are helping me a lot. is there a way that i could contact you? like you i was also a lecturer.
Thanks for the video! When will you be doing videos on the respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive videos for Marieb & Hoehn? They would really help.
Thanks for sharing this material, it has been very helpful! Do you know if the first web-link you are sharing on min 1:09 is still active? Thanks again
So its Sarcomere not Sacromere? My teacher is teaching is wrong things...... her voice is barely audible, and almost all my classmates dont listen to her. and she doesnt even care. she just talks and talks
