Afterwards the money was obviously returned (since beta gets wiped), but it apparently a lot of people spent a lot of money. So yeah, this is what I was refering to when I said "it did good in China." Also, the logo in this version of the opening was in Korean, which confirms what I thought about the game getting localized for Korea, and Japan is probably soon to follow if it hasn't already.

I dont know if anyone is aware atm but you can play the game via taiwan or korea servers and u wouldnt need an ID just your google account or any other service there is also an auto translator for both korea and taiwan with mods for your language so you can play in english for example note that the auto translator mod is only on pc and that u might need a app for mobile as it doesn't work on there

Honkai Star Rail being turn base, gives the lack of a so call 'meta' where there is a set characters/team comps which makes other characters look irrelevant or not worth to grind for like Genshin. Everyone in Honkai has their own unique-ness which gives them a place in different kinds of comps to shine than being forgotten, the only times when HSR characters become 'irrelevant' is whether they have a horrible kit or another unit outshines them in their element. P5X being turn base gacha can do this same thing too. They have the Velvet challenges which needs different characters for weaknesses. So I can see this game won't turn into a fully meta-defining and the 4 star characters can still shine a bit to the overwhelming 5 stars.
I hate that this game is a Gacha mobile game, and a good looking one on top of that. But no Atlus, I won't develop gambling just to play Persona 5 again but AU
