I wish to get dividend yield fund idcw payout on retirement,but not now as it will be taxed, is it good to buy dividend yield fund growth option now and then in retirement sell and buy idcw payout on retirement . Thx

You don't need to change the fund even at your retirement, simply start a SWP(Systematic Withdrawal Plan) scheme in your current fund. It is just like SIP but instead of you paying the bank, the bank pays you.

Mera kuch doubt hai agar de sakte to khusi hogi.
Mutual funds investors ka Paisa ko , unki khud ku Bank account linked Demat account ke jariye stocks me invest karte honge, to dividend bhi unki Bank account me milta hoga. Again they investing in stocks for growth and dividend reinvestment option. Agar itna baat sahi hai to phir Dividend reinvestment plan ki tarah Growth plan me extra units kyon nahi milta hai? Hope you understand my concern. Thanks.

NAV of the funds increases.
Mutual funds Get dividend multiple times. They buy sell stocks many times a year. Nothing will effect units . It will reflect in NAV
So automatically your cost per units increases.

Hi,
If you invest in ELSS schemes, then you can avail tax exemption of the invested amount up to a limit of Rs. 150,000. Further, the income that you earn under this scheme at the end of the three-year tenure will be considered as Long Term Capital Gain (LTCG) and will be taxed at 10% (if the income is above Rs. 1 lakh).
