Thank God! No Halloween, you know whats odd, i just posted a video on this literary half a hour ago. Im glad people are starting to speak out about this. God put it on my heart in the beginning of the month, hes doing that with many now.

Halloween used to be my favorite holiday until I asked the Lord how I got closer to him? The Lord answered me and said to me let Halloween go!

I have loved the Lord for a long time but have had it on my heart to not celebrate Halloween for 4 years now. Finally decided no Halloween this year. I have had persecution from family because of this decision. But I want to be obedient to the Lord.

For years we all met at Grandmas house, kids dressed up, wed eat pizza and then the kids would go out. It was always a fun time. But this year, the fear of God has me looking at Halloween through a different lense. I will miss the family gathering, but Im not going this year. Thanks for the confirmation.

I use to love Halloween, it was my favorite holiday lol, but since I gave my life to Jesus, Halloween is annoying now for me lol, I didn't even have to do my research, just by the decorations and costumes its evil, it's full of evil, fear witchcraft like you said. Definitely agree! So many verses come to mind in reference to celebrating these holidays with pagan roots(Halloween, Christmas, Easter) and it's with God's word and the conviction of the holy spirit that I was able to abandon these celebrations. Come out from amoung them and be separate, don't love the world and the things of the world, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, study to show yourself approved, the heart is deceitful and wicked (in response to God knows my heart), we are called to be a peculiar people. It doesn't matter what something means to us and what we make it about. What matters is what it means to God. Celebrating a holiday based in fear and deciet grieves Gods heart. Slapping Jesus's name on a day that is nothing about him but about glorifying a man dressed in a red suit when the day is rooted in sun worship, grieves our God. Having a easter egg hunt with bunnies and dying eggs but saying it belongs to Jesus when the origins of these practices are pagan and have to do with fertility and the dying of eggs in blood of sacrificed babies grieves God!!! It doesn't matter what you say the holiday is about! And it doesnt matter if you aren't out there doing it knowingly as a pagan practice. Satan is so tricky that way. Like it or not you are participating in pagan practices and worship. These days do not honor God, plain and simple. It's hard to be set apart. Its so much easier to be like the world and do what the world does. But Jesus said that if they hated him they will hate us too. We are called to be a peculiar people, so if you are doing things just as your atheist, or new age, or Buddhist neighbor it should make you go 🤔🤔

We won’t be celebrating Halloween also. Ever since I gave my life back to Christ a few months ago, I already felt it in my spirit. My kids totally understand why and are not disappointed at all 🙂

You are not alone 💕💕 when I decided to stop last year my 4 year old totally understood. It was my parents who had an actual fit over it. But when you show them the scriptures and the fact that your not compromising, that is going to be so powerful in itself. Stay strong with it. I even copied pasted my FB post on the comment section . I always celebrated Halloween but this year I have the clarity and for the first time I do not look forward to Halloween . Two people laughed at my post , two likes, and two hearts. 😭Some other post i made get more reaction to that. So yes this is a really tough topic to talk about or people to Admit/discuss. People bring their young children to our neighborhood for trick or treating. We put up ZERO halloween decorations, but -- and only until dark -- we do answer the doorbell and give out a little bit of packaged candy with "chick tracts" which are especially written for children to let them know of the gospel. We turn off the outside lights once it gets dark. I figure it's about the ONLY time I get to share about Jesus with many children. One of the chick tracts (from chick.com) we are giving out this year is named "Little Boo" which is a little girl sharing the gospel with her friends who are dressed in scary costumes, It's very sweet. The other one we are giving out is called "Cleo" and is about a little puppy that gets lost and in danger and gets adopted -- with the analogy of what Christ Jesus does for us. (Beyond that: I never liked Halloween!!! But there were a few years I was into the candy.)

I use to love halloween and Christmas until I learned the truth Jesus Christ was born on April 6 my phone won't allow me to put it on my phone so I won't be celebrating any holidays expect fathers day since I am a father I got two little boys I already got my oldest son his gifts for his birthday. Torn between turning off all the lights and possibly using caution tape to deter trick or treaters and handing out papers filled with relevant bible verses exposing the kingdom of darkness with exactly 0 candy involved. I could avoid Halloween by living in Apts the last 3 years but now that we’re in a house this is gonna be tough! 😂

I just like the Candy, horror movies, and music, don't care about anything else on Halloween. I grew up watching Horror movies so even now after being saved I still have a passion for them, I could have a whole conversation about them. Christmas I don't like the Pagan stuff ruin it for me, I enjoy the time with family and the great food, we do the 7 fish dinner in my family, so I love that as well, especially Shrimp, everyone knows to keep the Shrimp bowl away from my reach.
It definitely matters what you consume. I made a video over the vision God gave me with the things we watch. I used to watch worldly things as well but this is NOT okay. We are not the judge, God is and He HATES it. Please pray over it and check out that video and I go more into why with all the scriptures. God bless you on your walk & I pray you are open to correction and will obey the Lord when he guides you away from your love of the things of this world. We know we can not love the world and serve God also.

Hi! I am just like you I was going to a church and was happy to find one I can establish myself in and then I found out they celebrate halloween and my gut just did not feel right I got sad...and now I am in between churches too.

I agree!... How can we participate in pagan rituals and call ourselves believers? Even when churches change the name to fall festival but it all still looks and feels like Halloween and it's on Halloween... One year I participated in the Fall Festival at church. I understood that they were drawing people to come to a safer place but I expected them to talk about how Halloween is unclean, ungodly and that we were there to celebrate God but they never mentioned Helloween. It made me feel like they were afraid to offend people. ? . I believe we should be unashamed to speak up against ungodly things. For years I would begin to feel convicted but then I saw the rest of the church being okay with it & the pastor not mentioning anything, so it made me feel like Halloween must not be so bad. I thought it's not like we're worshipping Satan we're just having fun and Halloween is just part of our culture & traditions now. but now I see that just because other believers celebrate it does not make it right just because it becomes traditions of men does not make it right I want to honor, respect and have reverence for God and as for me and my household we will not take part in any Pagan rituals or anything that resembles it. I pray that the church will wake up and stop being apathetic compliant and compromised I pray they wake up from this lukewarmness and that they set themselves apart from the world. With much love i share my conviction. In October let's celebrate the Lord and pray against ungodly agendas. I'm praying for a Great Awakening and Revival like we've never seen before. Hallelujah Amen

Modern Halloween is no more “pagan” than Labor Day or Columbus Day. Many people seem to associate modern Halloween with three things: The old Celtic New Year’s celebration of Samhain (in asserting that most of Halloween’s customs can be traced to Samhain celebrations); Satanism (asserting that Halloween’s origins are Satanic as evidenced by the many Satanists who use this day to promote their beliefs); and All Saints Day (asserting that the early church established the holiday to “Christianize” Samhain). It's simply not a holiday that has close ties to the ancient past, nor does it have an antecedent or is a continuation of ancient customs, as some would have one believe.

It was originally known as "Samhain" the name was changed to "all Saints hollows eve" then became "Hollowen" it's basically night of the living dead which is strange cause there's a holiday on November 1st that's referred to as "day of the dead" celebrating the dead..it's definitely satanic an we as Christian's should not be celebrating it I don't celebrate it anymore but I have thought about going as Jesus looking like he did when he was crucified an walking around carrying a huge cross on my back an screaming at people "why have you forsaken me" lol that would scare the hell out of people lol...but on another note sumthing iv been thinking about lately gos in the theme of hollowen is witches..how does one define a witch exactly? It’s certainly a demon inspired celebration and I would stay well away from any church that celebrates this because they are not true Christians.
I don’t know a lot about the history of the celebration but somebody once said in a church lecture that at the time of Noah’s flood, the demons that had procreated with the daughters of men to produce hybrid offspring (the nephilim) these demons returned back to their spirit realms around this time to escape the flood waters and that Halloween has its roots in this event.
And it is the actions of these disobedient angels and their freak offspring that led to a world so evil that God had to wipe out that generation of humans from the earth.
Why would people celebrate the actions of disobedient angels? (Demons)
No where in the bible does it say "angels are demons", thats just conjecture passed on through the decades. The best explanation given about the origin of demons comes from the book of Enoch which the bibles book of "Jude" makes reference of. Demons "evil spirits" are the disembodied spirits of Dead Nephilim,(demons are not capable of pro creation).The bible says in 2Peter2:4 that the "angels who sinned (fallen angels) were cast down to hell and delivered into chains of darkness to be reserved for Judgment", 🙏

Evil spirits are not disembodied nephilim.
Nobody or nothing that dies has a disembodied spirit according to bible teaching.

I’m a Jehovah’s Witness so don’t accept the doctrine that dead people continue to remain conscious in the form of spirits.
And what is more important is that the bible doesn’t accept that viewpoint either.
It says dead people are “conscious of nothing” just like before they were born.
The bible teaches an earthly resurrection hope not a heavenly one.
Also the fallen angels were not sent to hell. That’s a translation error.
They were sent to “Tartarus” which is an abyss where humans don’t go.
“Hell” is translated as mankind’s common grave.
The idea that it is a place of torment for the unrighteous dead again comes from pagan teachings.
The church adopted many pagan teachings including celebrating pagan holidays.
They did this because they wanted to win pagans over to their ranks, and also because they wanted to scare people into belief that they will burn in hell if they don’t obey.
When the bible talks about the lake of fire it’s referring to “Gehenna” not hell.
The KJV May translate it as hell but the KJV has some mistranslations in it that are unfaithful to the original Greek and Hebrew language.
Nobody is cast into “Gehenna” until after the great tribulation and it’s figurative and represents destruction that will be final.
It’s not a literal lake.
You shouldn’t go listening to what the churches tell you, they are ignorant frauds that have mixed pagan teachings with bible teachings.
