Wouldn't using waterproofing kill the objective of having a home that "breathes"? Also, what has been used to waterproof? Is to a biodegradable material? Kindly respond.
Very valid & relevant question. The waterproofing featured here is revolutionary & unconventional and doesn't stop the house from breathing. Rather, it allows the vapour to pass thru and only don't allow water to penetrate. The method used is organo silane treatment and it is UV stable, permanant, eco friendly and economical. Hope this helps.
@@UniProGrp hey thank you for the response. I’d love to read some literature on your products. I’m trying to make a rammed earth or something similar for my retirement home. I’ll bug you again if I need help. 🙂

No, not necessarily. As the treatment is not a coating, but a reactive chemistry, the effect will remain till the treated area remains intact. If in any areas you find issues, such areas only need to be attended to.
There are many products which works as a polish for laterite stone and offer only partial protection to the wall. Organo Silane technology gives full repellency for many many years as it is a reactive chemistry treatment.
Good to hear Mr. Sivam that there are better ways. The process featured here is highly hydrophobic, lasts permanently, and above all very cost effective. If you can throw some light on the better methods you mentioned, we would be grateful and look at adopting them.
@@UniProGrp The fellow spraying the solution is wearing a mask is what concerned me. If it's really eco-friendly and an organic process with natural materials than it's fine.

What material do you use and how cost effective is it?
We use chemistry by name organo silane and it's very cost effective and long lasting
How long does the waterproofing last? Repeat in 5 years or 10 years?
No, not necessarily. As the treatment is not a coating, but a reactive chemistry, the effect will remain till the treated area remains intact. If in any areas you find issues, such areas only need to be attended to.

What is the point of this !!! There are better ways of waterproofing natural stone walls.
